Hadith #4440 - Majma al-Zawaid - The Compilation of Extra Narrations and the Source of Benefits

٤٤٤٠ - وَعَنْ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ أَنَّهَا كَانَتْ تُخْرِجُ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولٍ ﷺ عَنْ أَهْلِهَا الْحُرِّ مِنْهُمْ وَالْمَمْلُوكِ مُدَّيْنِ مِنْ حِنْطَةٍ أَوْ صَاعًا مَنْ تَمْرٍ بِالْمُدِّ الَّذِي يَقْتَاتُونَ بِهِ ..

#4440 4440 - And on the authority of Asma' bint Abi Bakr, that she used to give out during the era of the Messenger of Allah (pbuh), on behalf of her family—the free among them and the slave—two mudds of wheat or a sa' of dates, using the mudd measure with which they sustained themselves.
