Hadith #4741 - Majma al-Zawaid - The Compilation of Extra Narrations and the Source of Benefits

٤٧٤١ - عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، «أَنَّ رَجُلًا أَتَى النَّبِيَّ - ﷺ - فَقَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، أَيُّ الْأَعْمَالِ أَفْضَلُ؟ قَالَ: " الْإِيمَانُ بِاللَّهِ، وَالْجِهَادُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ ". قَالَ: فَإِنْ لَمْ أَسْتَطِعْ ذَلِكَ؟ قَالَ: " تُعِينُ صَانِعًا، أَوْ تَصْنَعُ لِأَخْرَقَ ". قَالَ: فَإِنْ لَمْ أَسْتَطِعْ ذَلِكَ؟ قَالَ: " احْبِسْ نَفْسَكَ عَنِ الشَّرِّ ; فَإِنَّهَا صَدَقَةٌ تَصَدَّقُ بِهَا عَنْ نَفْسِكَ».
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ، وَرِجَالُهُ ثِقَاتٌ.

#4741 4741 - On the authority of Abu Hurayrah, that a man came to the Prophet (pbuh) and said: "O Messenger of Allah, which of the deeds is best?" He said: "Faith in Allah and Jihad in the cause of Allah." He said: "And if I am not able to do that?" He said: "You help a worker, or you perform a task for the unskilled." He said: "And if I am not able to do that?" He said: "Restrain yourself from evil; for indeed, it is a charity that you give on behalf of yourself."

4741 - Nga Ebu Hurejre, se një burrë erdhi te Pejgamberi (s.a.v.s.) dhe tha:

"O i Dërguari i Allahut, cilat vepra janë më të mirat?" Ai tha: "Besimi në Allahun dhe xhihadi në rrugën e Allahut." Ai tha: "Po nëse nuk mundem ta bëj këtë?" Ai tha: "Ndihmo një punëtor, ose puno për dikë që nuk di të punojë." Ai tha: "Po nëse nuk mundem ta bëj këtë?" Ai tha: "Përmbaje veten nga e keqja; sepse kjo është një sadaka që e jep për veten tënde."
E ka transmetuar Ahmedi, dhe burrat e tij janë të besueshëm.
