Hadith #5020 - Majma al-Zawaid - The Compilation of Extra Narrations and the Source of Benefits

٥٠٢٠ - وَعَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ: «صَلَّى بِنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ فِي شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ ثَمَانَ رَكَعَاتٍ وَأَوْتَرَ، فَلَمَّا كَانَتِ الْقَابِلَةُ اجْتَمَعْنَا فِي الْمَسْجِدِ وَرَجَوْنَا أَنْ يَخْرُجَ إِلَيْنَا، فَلَمْ يَزَلْ فِيهِ حَتَّى أَصْبَحْنَا، ثُمَّ دَخَلْنَا فَقُلْنَا: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، اجْتَمَعْنَا فِي الْمَسْجِدِ وَرَجَوْنَا أَنْ تُصَلِّيَ بِنَا؟ قَالَ: " إِنِّي خَشِيتُ - أَوْ كَرِهْتُ - أَنْ يُكْتَبَ عَلَيْكُمْ» ".
رَوَاهُ أَبُو يَعْلَى وَالطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الصَّغِيرِ، وَفِيهِ عِيسَى بْنُ جَارِيَةَ ; وَثَّقَهُ ابْنُ حِبَّانَ
وَغَيْرُهُ، وَضَعَّفَهُ ابْنُ مَعِينٍ.

#5020 5020 - And on the authority of Jabir, who said: "The Messenger of Allah (pbuh) prayed eight rak'ahs and the witr with us during the month of Ramadan. When it was the following night, we gathered in the mosque and hoped that he would come out to us, but he remained therein until we reached the morning. Then we entered and said: 'O Messenger of Allah, we gathered in the mosque and hoped that you would pray with us?' He said: 'Indeed, I feared – or I disliked – that it might be prescribed for you.'"

- Dhe nga Xhabiri transmetohet se ka thënë: «I Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.) fali me ne në muajin e Ramazanit tetë rekate dhe vitrin. Kur erdhi nata tjetër, u mblodhëm në xhami dhe shpresuam që ai të dilte tek ne, por ai qëndroi brenda derisa u gdhimë. Pastaj hymë dhe i thamë: O i Dërguari i Allahut, u mblodhëm në xhami dhe shpresuam që të faleshe me ne? Ai tha: "Vërtet, unë u frikësova - ose nuk dëshirova - që kjo t'ju bëhet obligim (farz)"».
E transmeton Ebu Jala dhe Taberaniu në es-Sagir, dhe në të është Isa bin Xharije; e ka konsideruar të besueshëm Ibn Hibbani dhe të tjerë, ndërsa e ka konsideruar të dobët Ibn Meini.
