٥٠٥٩ - وَعَنْ حَوْطٍ الْعَبْدِيِّ قَالَ: سَأَلْتُ زَيْدَ بْنَ أَرْقَمَ عَنْ لَيْلَةِ الْقَدْرِ فَقَالَ: مَا أَشُكُّ وَمَا أَمْتَرِي أَنَّهَا سَبْعَ عَشْرَةَ لَيْلَةَ أُنْزِلَ الْقُرْآنُ وَيَوْمَ الْتَقَى
الْجَمْعَانِ.
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ. وَحَوْطٌ قَالَ الْبُخَارِيُّ: حَدِيثُهُ هَذَا مُنْكَرٌ.
#5059 5059 - And on the authority of Hawt al-'Abdi, who said: I asked Zayd ibn Arqam about the Night of Decree (Laylat al-Qadr), and he said: "I do not doubt nor do I hesitate that it is the seventeenth night, the night the Quran was revealed and the day the two hosts met." It was narrated by al-Tabarani in al-Kabir.
