1366 - Na ka treguar Junusi, i cili ka thënë: Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, i cili ka thënë: Na ka treguar Sheriku, nga Jala b. Ata, nga Amr b. esh-Sherid eth-Thekafi, nga babai i tij se:

Një i gërbulur erdhi te Pejgamberi (s.a.v.s.) për t'i dhënë besën, ndërsa i Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.) tha: "Thuaji atij të kthehet, sepse unë tashmë ia kam pranuar besën."
١٣٦٦ - حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا شَرِيكٌ ، عَنْ يَعْلَى بْنِ عَطَاءٍ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ الشَّرِيدِ الثَّقَفِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ «أَنَّ مَجْذُومًا أَتَى النَّبِيَّ - ﷺ - لِيُبَايِعَهُ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: قُلْ لَهُ فَلْيَرْجِعْ فَإِنِّي قَدْ بَايَعْتُهُ».

- Yunus narrated to us, he said: Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Sharik narrated to us, from Ya'la bin 'Ata, from 'Amr bin al-Sharid al-Thaqafi, from his father: 'That a leper came to the Prophet (pbuh) to pledge allegiance to him, so the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) said: Tell him to return, for I have already accepted his pledge.'

1367 - Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, i cili ka thënë: Na ka treguar Abdullah bin Abdurrahman bin Jala el-Taifi, i cili ka thënë: Dhe më ka treguar Amër bin esh-Sheridi, nga babai i tij, i cili ka thënë: «I Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.) kërkoi prej meje të recitoja njëqind vargje nga poezia e Umeje bin Ebi es-Saltit. Sa herë që recitoja një varg, ai thoshte: 'Vazhdo'. Pastaj i Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.) tha: 'Për pak sa nuk u bë musliman përmes poezisë së tij'.»
١٣٦٧ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ يَعْلَى الطَّائِفِيُّ ، قَالَ: وَحَدَّثَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ الشَّرِيدِ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، قَالَ: «اسْتَنْشَدَنِي رَسُولُ اللهِ - ﷺ - مِائَةَ قَافِيَةٍ مِنْ شِعْرِ أُمَيَّةَ بْنِ أَبِي الصَّلْتِ، كُلَّمَا أَنْشَدْتُهُ قَافِيَةً قَالَ: هِيهِ، ثُمَّ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: إِنْ كَادَ لَيُسْلِمُ فِي شِعْرِهِ».
1367 - Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Abd Allah bin Abd al-Rahman bin Ya'la al-Ta'ifi narrated to us, he said: and Amr bin al-Sharid narrated to me, from his father, who said: "The Messenger of Allah (pbuh) asked me to recite a hundred verses of the poetry of Umayya bin Abi al-Salt; every time I recited a verse to him, he said: 'Go on,' then the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) said: 'He almost became a Muslim through his poetry.'"

1368 - Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, i cili ka thënë: Na ka treguar Abdullah bin Abdurrahmani, nga Amër bin esh-Sheridi, e ky nga babai i tij, se Pejgamberi (s.a.v.s.) ka thënë: «Njeriu ka më shumë përparësi ndaj fqinjit të tij të afërt (sekabihi).»

(Transmetuesi) tha: I thashë Amrit: Çfarë është 'sekabihi'? Ai tha: E drejta e tij e para-blerjes (shef'atu-hu).
١٣٦٨ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ الشَّرِيدِ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ - ﷺ - قَالَ: «الْمَرْءُ أَوْلَى بِسَقَبِهِ»، قَالَ: فَقُلْتُ لِعَمْرٍو: مَا سَقَبُهُ؟ قَالَ: شُفْعَتُهُ.
1368 - Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Abdullah bin Abdur-Rahman narrated to us, from Amr bin Ash-Sharid, from his father that the Prophet (pbuh) said: "A person has more right to his saqab."
He said: So I said to Amr: "What is his saqab?" He said: "His right of pre-emption (shuf'ah)."
