1738 - Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, i cili ka thënë: Na ka treguar Hishami, nga Katade, nga Shehri, nga Esmaja, e cila ka thënë: Pejgamberi (s.a.v.s.) e përmendi Dexhallin dhe tha: «Vërtet, para daljes së tij do të jetë një vit në të cilin qielli do të mbajë një të tretën e shiut të tij dhe toka do të mbajë një të tretën e bimësisë së saj. Në vitin e dytë, qielli do të mbajë dy të tretat e shiut të tij dhe toka do të mbajë dy të tretat e bimësisë së saj. Kurse në vitin e tretë, qielli do të mbajë tërë shiun e tij dhe toka tërë bimësinë e saj, aq sa nuk do të mbetet asnjë kafshë me dhëmbë (shqyese) e as me thundra. Dhe vërtet, nga sprova e tij më e madhe është se do t'i thotë njeriut: 'Nëse unë t'i ngjall nënën dhe babanë tënd, a do ta dish se unë jam zoti yt?' Atëherë shejtanët do t'u shfaqen atyre në formën e prindërve të tij.
Pastaj Pejgamberi (s.a.v.s.) doli për një nevojë të tij, e kur u kthye, njerëzit e shtëpisë po qanin. Ai i kapi të dy anët e derës dhe tha: 'Çfarë keni?' Ata thanë: 'O i Dërguari i Allahut, e përmende Dexhallin, dhe pasha Allahun, ndonjëri prej nesh e zë brumin e tij e nuk arrin ta pjekë bukën derisa frikësohet se do të sprovohet, ndërsa ti thua se ushqimet do të mblidhen tek ai.' Atëherë Pejgamberi (s.a.v.s.) tha: 'Vërtet, besimtarit atë ditë do t'i mjaftojë ajo që u mjafton engjëjve.' Ata thanë: 'Por engjëjt nuk hanë e as nuk pinë, por ata bëjnë tesbih (shenjtërojnë Allahun).' Pejgamberi (s.a.v.s.) tha: 'Ushqimi i besimtarëve atë ditë do të jetë tesbihu. Nëse ai del ndërsa unë jam mesin tuaj, unë do të jem kundërshtari i tij, e nëse del pas meje, atëherë Allahu është mbrojtësi i çdo muslimani'.»

- حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ
، عَنْ شَهْرٍ ، عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ ، قَالَتْ: «ذَكَرَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ
الدَّجَّالَ فَقَالَ: إِنَّ قَبْلَ خُرُوجِهِ عَامًا تُمْسِكُ السَّمَاءُ
ثُلُثَ قَطْرِهَا، وَالْأَرْضُ ثُلُثَ نَبَاتِهَا، وَالْعَامُ الثَّانِي
تُمْسِكُ السَّمَاءُ ثُلُثَيْ قَطْرِهَا، وَالْأَرْضُ ثُلُثَيْ نَبَاتِهَا،
وَالْعَامُ الثَّالِثُ تُمْسِكُ السَّمَاءُ قَطْرَهَا وَالْأَرْضُ
نَبَاتَهَا، حَتَّى لَا يَبْقَى ذَاتُ ضِرْسٍ، وَلَا ذَاتُ ظِلْفٍ، وَإِنَّ
مِنْ أَكْبَرِ فِتْنَتِهِ أَنْ يَقُولَ لِلرَّجُلِ: إِنْ أَحْيَيْتُ لَكَ
أُمَّكَ وَأَبَاكَ، أَتَعْلَمُ أَنِّي رَبُّكَ؟ فَيَتَمَثَّلُ لَهُمُ
الشَّيَاطِينُ.
ثُمَّ إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ خَرَجَ لِبَعْضِ حَاجَتِهِ،
فَجَاءَ وَأَهْلُ الْبَيْتِ يَبْكُونَ، فَأَخَذَ بِعِضَادَتَيِ الْبَابِ،
ثُمَّ قَالَ: مَهْيَمْ؟ قَالُوا: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، ذَكَرْتَ الدَّجَّالَ،
فَوَاللهِ إِنَّ أَحَدَنَا لَيَعْجِنُ عَجِينَهُ فَمَا يَخْتَبِزُ حَتَّى
يَخْشَى أَنْ يَفْتَتِنَ، وَأَنْتَ تَقُولُ: الْأَطْعِمَةُ تُزْوَى
إِلَيْهِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: إِنَّهُ يَكْفِي الْمُؤْمِنَ يَوْمَئِذٍ
مَا يَكْفِي الْمَلَائِكَةَ قَالُوا: فَإِنَّ الْمَلَائِكَةَ لَا تَأْكُلُ
وَلَا تَشْرَبُ، وَلَكِنَّهَا تُقَدِّسُ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:
طَعَامُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ يَوْمَئِذٍ التَّسْبِيحُ، فَإِنْ يَخْرُجْ وَأَنَا
فِيكُمْ، فَأَنَا حَجِيجُهُ، وَإِنْ يَخْرُجْ بَعْدِي، فَاللهُ خَلِيفَتِي
عَلَى كُلِّ مُسْلِمٍ».
1738 - Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Hisham narrated to us, from Qatadah, from Shahr, from Asma, she said: "The Messenger of Allah (saw) mentioned the Dajjal and said: 'Indeed, before his emergence, there will be a year in which the sky withholds a third of its rain, and the earth withholds a third of its vegetation. In the second year, the sky will withhold two-thirds of its rain, and the earth will withhold two-thirds of its vegetation. In the third year, the sky will withhold all of its rain and the earth all of its vegetation, until no animal with molars or hooves remains. And indeed, among his greatest trials is that he will say to a man: "If I bring your mother and father back to life for you, will you know that I am your Lord?" Then the devils will take their forms for them.'
Then the Messenger of Allah (saw) went out for some of his needs, and he came back while the people of the house were weeping. He took hold of the two doorposts and then said: 'What is the matter?' They said: 'O Messenger of Allah, you mentioned the Dajjal, and by Allah, one of us kneads his dough and does not even bake it before he fears being put to trial, and you say that food will be withdrawn from him.' So the Messenger of Allah (saw) said: 'Indeed, what suffices the angels will suffice the believer on that day.' They said: 'But the angels do not eat or drink, they only glorify.' So the Messenger of Allah (saw) said: 'The food of the believers on that day will be the glorification of Allah (Tasbih). If he emerges while I am among you, then I am his adversary, and if he emerges after me, then Allah is my successor over every Muslim.'"
