1241 - Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, i cili ka thënë: Na ka treguar El-Esh'ath bin Seid Ebu er-Rebi' dhe Omer bin Kajs, të cilët kanë thënë: Na ka treguar Asim bin Ubejdullah, nga Abdullah bin Amir bin Rabia, nga babai i tij, i cili ka thënë:
«Një herë u errësua ndërsa ishim në udhëtim dhe na u ngatërrua drejtimi i kibles. Secili prej nesh u fal në drejtimin e tij. Kur u zbardh, pamë se disa prej nesh ishin falur në drejtim tjetër nga kibla, ndërsa disa të tjerë ishin falur drejt kibles. Ia përmendëm këtë të Dërguarit të Allahut (s.a.v.s.) dhe ai tha: 'Namazi juaj është i vlefshëm', dhe zbriti ajeti: ﴿فَأَيْنَمَا تُوَلُّوا فَثَمَّ وَجْهُ اللهِ﴾ 'Ngado që të ktheheni, aty është Fytyra e Allahut'.»

- حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا الْأَشْعَثُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ
أَبُو الرَّبِيعِ وَعُمَرُ بْنُ قَيْسٍ قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا عَاصِمُ بْنُ
عُبَيْدِ اللهِ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَامِرِ بْنِ رَبِيعَةَ ، عَنْ
أَبِيهِ ، قَالَ: «أَظْلَمَتْ مَرَّةً وَنَحْنُ فِي سَفَرٍ فَاشْتَبَهَتْ
عَلَيْنَا الْقِبْلَةُ، فَصَلَّى كُلُّ رَجُلٍ مِنَّا حِيَالَهُ، فَلَمَّا
انْجَلَتْ إِذَا بَعْضُنَا قَدْ صَلَّى لِغَيْرِ الْقِبْلَةِ وَبَعْضُنَا
قَدْ صَلَّى لِلْقِبْلَةِ، فَذَكَرْنَا ذَلِكَ لِرَسُولِ اللهِ - ﷺ -
فَقَالَ: مَضَتْ صَلَاتُكُمْ، وَنَزَلَتْ: ﴿فَأَيْنَمَا تُوَلُّوا فَثَمَّ
وَجْهُ اللهِ﴾».
1241 - Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Al-Ash'ath bin Sa'id Abu al-Rabi' and 'Umar bin Qays narrated to us, they said: 'Asim bin 'Ubaydullah narrated to us, from 'Abdullah bin 'Amir bin Rabi'ah, from his father, who said: "It became dark once while we were on a journey, and the direction of the Qiblah became unclear to us. So, each man among us prayed in the direction he thought was correct. When it became clear, it turned out that some of us had prayed in a direction other than the Qiblah, while others had prayed towards the Qiblah. We mentioned that to the Messenger of Allah (saw), and he said: 'Your prayer is valid,' and the verse was revealed: {So wherever you [might] turn, there is the Face of Allah} (2:115)."
