I thashë Shehrit: «Ata i zverdhin dhe i lyejnë me këna?» Ai tha: «Po». Tha: «Sikur ai e kishte fjalën për ngjyrën e zezë».

Atë ditë unë godita me gjashtëmbëdhjetë shigjeta.

"We besieged the fortress of al-Ta'if with the Prophet (saw), and I heard the Messenger of Allah (saw) say: 'Whoever reaches [the enemy] with an arrow in the cause of Allah, it is for him the equivalent of freeing a slave.' On that day, I reached [them] with sixteen arrows. And I heard the Messenger of Allah (saw) say: 'Whoever shoots an arrow in the cause of Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, it is for him a degree in Paradise. And whoever grows a grey hair in Islam, it will be a light for him on the Day of Resurrection. And whichever Muslim man frees a Muslim man, Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, will make every bone of his a protection for every bone of his [the former's] from the Fire. And whichever Muslim woman frees a Muslim woman, Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, will make every bone of hers a protection for every bone of hers [the former's] from the Fire.'"
#1251
Atëherë Muaviu u kthye mbrapsht me njerëzit».
1251 - Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Shu'bah narrated to us, from Abu al-Fayd al-Shami, he said: I heard Sulaym ibn 'Amir saying:
"There was a treaty between Mu'awiyah and the Romans, and he was marching into their lands so that when the treaty expired, he could raid them. Suddenly, a man appeared on a beast - or on a horse - saying: 'Allahu Akbar! Fulfillment, not treachery!' - twice. It turned out to be 'Amr ibn 'Abasah al-Sulami. Mu'awiyah said to him: 'What are you saying?' 'Amr replied: I heard the Messenger of Allah (saw) saying: 'Whoever has a treaty between him and a people, let him not untie a knot nor tie one until its term has passed or he throws it back to them on equal terms.' So Mu'awiyah returned with the people."
