959 - Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Shu'bah and Sulayman bin al-Mughirah al-Qaysi narrated to us, both from Humayd bin Hilal al-'Adawi, who said: I heard 'Abdullah bin al-Mughaffal (ra)
(215) saying: "A leather bag of fat was lowered on the day of Khaybar, so I took it and held onto it, saying: 'This is for me, I will not give anyone anything from it!' Then I turned around and there was the Messenger of Allah (saw), and I felt shy before him."
Sulayman said in his narration: and it is not in the narration of Shu'bah that the Messenger of Allah (saw) said: "It is yours." Abu Dawud said: It was as if it were from the spoils of war.
