- Na ka treguar Junusi, i cili ka thënë: Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, i cili ka thënë: Na ka treguar Hishami, nga Katade, nga Mutarrif bin Abdilah bin esh-Shikhir, nga Ijad bin Himar el-Muxhashii, se Pejgamberi i Allahut (s.a.v.s.) një ditë gjatë hutbes së tij ka thënë: "Vërtet Zoti im - ose: Vërtet Zoti im - më ka urdhëruar t'ju mësoj atë që nuk e dini nga ajo që Ai më ka mësuar mua në këtë ditë: Çdo pasuri që i kam dhënë robit Tim është e lejuar (hallall). Unë i krijova të gjithë robërit e Mi hanifë (besimtarë të pastër), por atyre u erdhën shejtanët dhe i larguan nga feja e tyre, ua ndaluan atë që Unë ua kisha lejuar dhe i urdhëruan të më shoqërojnë Mua shok (shirk) për të cilin nuk kam zbritur asnjë argument. Allahu i Madhëruar shikoi banorët e tokës dhe i urrye ata, arabët dhe joarabët e tyre, me përjashtim të disa mbetjeve nga Ithtarët e Librit. Ai tha: O Muhamed, të kam dërguar që të të sprovoj ty dhe të sprovoj të tjerët përmes teje. Të kam zbritur një Libër që uji nuk e lan (shlyen), të cilin do ta lexosh duke fjetur dhe zgjuar. Allahu i Madhëruar më urdhëroi t'i djeg kurejshët, e unë thashë: O Zoti im, atëherë ata do të ma thyejnë kokën dhe do ta lënë si copë buke! Ai tha: Nxirri ata ashtu siç të nxorën ty, luftoji ata e do të ndihmohesh në luftë, shpenzo e do të shpenzohet për ty, dërgo një ushtri e Ne do të dërgojmë pesëfishin e saj, dhe lufto me ata që të binden kundër atyre që të kundërshtojnë. Dhe tha: Banorët e Xhenetit janë tre: Një pushtetar i drejtë, bamirës dhe i suksesshëm; një njeri i mëshirshëm me zemër të butë ndaj çdo të afërmi musliman; dhe një i varfër i ndershëm që jep lëmoshë. Ndërsa banorët e Zjarrit janë pesë: I dobëti që nuk ka mend (vullnet), të cilët janë pasues mes jush që nuk kërkojnë as familje e as pasuri; tradhtari, lakmia e të cilit nuk fshihet edhe nëse është e vogël pa e tradhtuar; një njeri që nuk gdhihet e as nuk ngryset pa të mashtruar në familjen dhe pasurinë tënde - dhe përmendi koprracinë ose gënjeshtrën - dhe njeriu me moral të keq e gojëndyrë."
Ebu Davudi ka thënë: Na ka treguar Hemami, i cili ka thënë: Ishim te Katade dhe e përmendëm këtë hadith, e Junus el-Hedadij - dhe nuk kishte mes nesh ndonjë që mbante mend më shumë se ai - tha: Katade nuk e ka dëgjuar këtë hadith nga Mutarrifi. Ai tha: Ne e qortuam atë për këtë. Ai tha: Pyeteni atë. Ne patëm drojë prej tij. Ai tha: Atëherë erdhi një beduin dhe ne i thamë beduinit: Pyete Kataden për hutben e Pejgamberit (s.a.v.s.) rreth hadithit të Ijad bin Himarit, a e ka dëgjuar nga Mutarrifi? Beduini tha: O Ebu el-Hatab, më trego për hutben e Pejgamberit (s.a.v.s.)! Domethënë hadithin e Ijadit, a e ke dëgjuar nga Mutarrifi? Ai u zemërua dhe tha: Ma kanë treguar tre veta prej tij; ma ka treguar Jezidi, vëllai i tij, djali i Abdilah bin esh-Shikhirit, ma ka treguar el-Ala bin Zijad el-Adevij prej tij - dhe përmendi një të tretë që Hemami nuk e mbajti mend.

- حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ:
حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، عَنْ مُطَرِّفِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ
بْنِ الشِّخِّيرِ ، عَنْ عِيَاضِ بْنِ حِمَارٍ الْمُجَاشِعِيِّ «أَنَّ
نَبِيَّ اللهِ - ﷺ - قَالَ ذَاتَ يَوْمٍ فِي خُطْبَتِهِ: أَلَا إِنَّ
رَبِّي - أَوْ: إِنَّ رَبِّي - أَمَرَنِي أَنْ أُعَلِّمَكُمْ مَا
جَهِلْتُمْ مِمَّا عَلَّمَنِي يَوْمِي هَذَا، كُلُّ مَالٍ نَحَلْتُ عَبْدِي
حَلَالٌ، وَإِنِّي خَلَقْتُ عِبَادِي حُنَفَاءَ كُلَّهُمْ، وَإِنَّهُمْ
أَتَتْهُمُ الشَّيَاطِينُ فَاجْتَالَتْهُمْ عَنْ دِينِهِمْ وَحَرَّمَتْ
عَلَيْهِمْ مَا أَحْلَلْتُ لَهُمْ فَأَمَرَتْهُمْ أَنْ يُشْرِكُوا بِي مَا
لَمْ أُنَزِّلْ بِهِ سُلْطَانًا، وَإِنَّ اللهَ ﷿ نَظَرَ إِلَى أَهْلِ
الْأَرْضِ فَمَقَتَهُمْ عَرَبَهُمْ وَعَجَمَهُمْ إِلَّا بَقَايَا مِنْ
أَهْلِ الْكِتَابِ، فَقَالَ: يَا مُحَمَّدُ، إِنَّمَا بَعَثْتُكَ
لِأَبْتَلِيَكَ وَأَبْتَلِيَ بِكَ، وَأَنْزَلْتُ عَلَيْكَ كِتَابًا لَا
يَغْسِلُهُ الْمَاءُ، تَقْرَؤُهُ نَائِمًا وَيَقْظَانَ، وَإِنَّ اللهَ ﷿
أَمَرَنِي أَنْ أُحَرِّقَ قُرَيْشًا، فَقُلْتُ: رَبِّ، إِذًا يَثْلَغُوا
رَأْسِي فَيَدَعُوهُ خُبْزَةً! فَقَالَ: اسْتَخْرِجْهُمْ كَمَا
أَخْرَجُوكَ، وَاغْزُهُمْ يُغْزَ بِكَ، وَأَنْفِقْ فَسَيُنْفَقُ عَلَيْكَ،
وَابْعَثْ جَيْشًا نَبْعَثْ خَمْسَةَ أَمْثَالِهِ، وَقَاتِلْ بِمَنْ
أَطَاعَكَ مَنْ عَصَاكَ، وَقَالَ: أَهْلُ الْجَنَّةِ ثَلَاثَةٌ: ذُو
سُلْطَانٍ مُقْتَصِدٌ مُتَصَدِّقٌ مُوَفَّقٌ، وَرَجُلٌ رَحِيمٌ رَقِيقُ
الْقَلْبِ لِكُلِّ قُرْبَى مُسْلِمٍ، وَفَقِيرٌ عَفِيفٌ مُتَصَدِّقٌ.
وَأَهْلُ النَّارِ خَمْسَةٌ: الضَّعِيفُ الَّذِي لَا زَبْرَ لَهُ الَّذِينَ
هُمْ فِيكُمْ تَبَعًا لَا يَبْتَغُونَ أَهْلًا وَلَا مَالًا، وَالْخَائِنُ
الَّذِي لَا يَخْفَى لَهُ طَمَعٌ وَإِنْ دَقَّ إِلَّا خَانَهُ، وَرَجُلٌ
لَا يُصْبِحُ وَلَا يُمْسِي إِلَّا وَهُوَ يُخَادِعُكَ عَنْ أَهْلِكَ
وَمَالِكَ - وَذَكَرَ الْبُخْلَ أَوِ الْكَذِبَ - وَالشِّنْظِيرُ
الْفَحَّاشُ».
قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُدَ : فَحَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ قَالَ:
كُنَّا عِنْدَ قَتَادَةَ فَذَكَرْنَا هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ، فَقَالَ يُونُسُ
الْهَدَادِيُّ - وَمَا كَانَ فِينَا أَحَدٌ أَحْفَظَ مِنْهُ: إِنَّ
قَتَادَةَ لَمْ يَسْمَعْ هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ مِنْ مُطَرِّفٍ. قَالَ:
فَعِبْنَا عَلَيْهِ ذَلِكَ، قَالَ: فَاسْأَلُوهُ، فَهِبْنَاهُ، قَالَ:
وَجَاءَهُ أَعْرَابِيٌّ فَقُلْنَا لِلْأَعْرَابِيِّ: سَلْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ
خُطْبَةِ النَّبِيِّ - ﷺ - عَنْ حَدِيثِ عِيَاضِ بْنِ حِمَارٍ أَسَمِعْتَهُ
مِنْ مُطَرِّفٍ؟ فَقَالَ الْأَعْرَابِيُّ: يَا أَبَا الْخَطَّابِ،
أَخْبِرْنِي عَنْ خُطْبَةِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ! يَعْنِي حَدِيثَ عِيَاضٍ،
أَسَمِعْتَهُ مِنْ مُطَرِّفٍ؟ فَغَضِبَ وَقَالَ: حَدَّثَنِيهِ ثَلَاثَةٌ
عَنْهُ؛ حَدَّثَنِيهِ يَزِيدُ أَخُوهُ ابْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ
الشِّخِّيرِ، وَحَدَّثَنِيهِ الْعَلَاءُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ الْعَدَوِيُّ عَنْهُ -
وَذَكَرَ ثَالِثًا لَمْ يَحْفَظْهُ هَمَّامٌ.
1175 - Yunus narrated to us, he said: Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Hisham narrated to us, from Qatadah, from Mutarrif bin 'Abdullah bin al-Shikhkhir, from 'Iyad bin Himar al-Mujashi'i, that the Prophet of Allah (saw) said one day in his sermon: "Behold, my Lord - or: indeed my Lord - has commanded me to teach you what you were ignorant of from what He taught me this day of mine: 'Every wealth I have bestowed upon My servant is lawful. And I created all My servants as Hunafa' (pure monotheists), but the devils came to them and diverted them from their religion, and forbade them what I had made lawful for them, and commanded them to associate with Me that for which I have sent down no authority.' And Allah (Azwajal) looked at the people of the earth and detested them, both Arabs and non-Arabs, except for some remnants of the People of the Book. And He said: 'O Muhammad, I have only sent you to test you and test others through you, and I have revealed to you a Book that water cannot wash away, which you read while asleep and awake.' And Allah (Azwajal) commanded me to burn Quraysh, so I said: 'O Lord, then they will crush my head and leave it like a piece of bread!' He said: 'Drive them out as they drove you out, and raid them, and you will be aided, and spend, and it will be spent upon you, and send an army, and We will send five times its like, and fight with those who obey you against those who disobey you.' And he said: 'The people of Paradise are three: a person of authority who is just, charitable, and successful; a merciful man who is soft-hearted towards every Muslim relative; and a poor man who is chaste and charitable. And the people of the Fire are five: the weakling who has no self-restraint, those who are among you as followers seeking neither family nor wealth; the treacherous one whose greed is never hidden, even if it is for something small, but he betrays it; and a man who does not reach morning or evening except that he is deceiving you regarding your family and your wealth' - and he mentioned stinginess or lying - 'and the foul-mouthed, obscene person.'"
Abu Dawud said: Hammam narrated to us, he said: We were with Qatadah and we mentioned this Hadith, and Yunus al-Hadadi - and there was no one among us with a better memory than him - said: "Indeed, Qatadah did not hear this Hadith from Mutarrif." He said: So we criticized him for that. He said: "Then ask him." But we were in awe of him. He said: Then a Bedouin came to him, so we said to the Bedouin: "Ask Qatadah about the sermon of the Prophet (saw) regarding the Hadith of 'Iyad bin Himar; did you hear it from Mutarrif?" The Bedouin said: "O Abu al-Khattab, tell me about the sermon of the Prophet (saw)!" meaning the Hadith of 'Iyad, "Did you hear it from Mutarrif?" He became angry and said: "Three people narrated it to me from him; Yazid his brother, the son of 'Abdullah bin al-Shikhkhir, narrated it to me, and al-'Ala' bin Ziyad al-'Adawi narrated it to me from him" - and he mentioned a third one whom Hammam did not remember.
