- Na ka treguar Junusi, ka thënë: Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, ka thënë: Na ka treguar Ibnul Mubareku, nga Musa bin Ejub el-Gafiki, nga axha i tij Ijas bin Amir, nga Ukbe bin Amir, i cili ka thënë:
«Kur u shpall: ﴿فَسَبِّحْ بِاسْمِ رَبِّكَ الْعَظِيمِ﴾ i Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.) tha: Bëjeni këtë në ruku, ndërsa kur u shpall: ﴿سَبِّحِ اسْمَ رَبِّكَ الْأَعْلَى﴾ Pejgamberi (s.a.v.s.) tha: Bëjeni këtë në sexhdet tuaja».
١٠٩٣ - حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ ، عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ أَيُّوبَ الْغَافِقِيِّ ، عَنْ عَمِّهِ إِيَاسِ بْنِ عَامِرٍ، عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ ، قَالَ: «لَمَّا أُنْزِلَتْ ﴿فَسَبِّحْ بِاسْمِ رَبِّكَ الْعَظِيمِ﴾ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: اجْعَلُوهَا فِي الرُّكُوعِ، فَلَمَّا نَزَلَتْ ﴿سَبِّحِ اسْمَ رَبِّكَ الْأَعْلَى﴾ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ: اجْعَلُوهَا فِي سُجُودِكُمْ».
1093 - Yunus narrated to us, he said: Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Ibn al-Mubarak narrated to us, from Musa ibn Ayyub al-Ghafiqi, from his uncle Iyas ibn 'Amir, from 'Uqbah ibn 'Amir, who said:

"When {So glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most Great} was revealed, the Messenger of Allah (saw) said: 'Make it in the bowing.' When {Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High} was revealed, the Prophet (saw) said: 'Make it in your prostrations.'"

- Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, ka thënë: Na ka treguar Ibnul Mubareku, nga Musa bin Aliu, nga babai i tij, nga Ukbe bin Amiri, i cili ka thënë: «Tri kohë janë në të cilat i Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.) na ndalonte të falemi ose t'i varrosim të vdekurit tanë: kur lind dielli derisa të ngrihet lart, kur dielli është në zenit derisa të anojë, dhe kur dielli fillon të perëndojë derisa të perëndojë plotësisht».
١٠٩٤ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ ، عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ عُلَيٍّ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ ، قَالَ: «ثَلَاثُ سَاعَاتٍ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ - ﷺ - يَنْهَى أَنْ نُصَلِّيَ فِيهِنَّ أَوْ نَقْبُرَ فِيهِنَّ مَوْتَانَا: إِذَا طَلَعَتِ الشَّمْسُ بَازِغَةً حَتَّى تَرْتَفِعَ، وَحِينَ يَقُومُ قَائِمُ الظَّهِيرَةِ حَتَّى تَمِيلَ الشَّمْسُ، وَحِينَ تَضَيَّفُ لِلْغُرُوبِ حَتَّى تَغْرُبَ».
1094 - Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Ibn al-Mubarak narrated to us, from Musa bin 'Ulayy, from his father, from 'Uqbah bin 'Amir, he said: "Three times the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) used to forbid us from praying in them or burying our dead in them: when the sun rises clearly until it rises high, when the sun is at its peak at noon until the sun declines, and when it inclines towards setting until it sets."

1095 - Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, i cili ka thënë: Na ka treguar Hishami, nga Jahja bin Ebi Kethiri, nga Ba'xha el-Xhuhenij, i cili ka thënë: Na ka treguar Ukbe bin Amir el-Xhuhenij, i cili ka thënë: «Pejgamberi (s.a.v.s.) i shpërndau kurbanët mes shokëve të tij, ndërsa mua më takoi një xhedhea. Atëherë Pejgamberi (s.a.v.s.) tha: 'Flije atë si kurban'.»
١٠٩٥ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ ، عَنْ بَعْجَةَ الْجُهَنِيِّ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عُقْبَةُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ الْجُهَنِيُّ ، قَالَ: «قَسَمَ رَسُولُ اللهِ - ﷺ - الضَّحَايَا بَيْنَ أَصْحَابِهِ فَصَارَتْ لِي جَذَعَةٌ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: ضَحِّ بِهَا».
1095 - Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Hisham narrated to us, from Yahya bin Abi Kathir, from Ba'jah al-Juhani, he said: 'Uqbah bin 'Amir al-Juhani narrated to us, he said:

"The Messenger of Allah (saw) distributed the sacrificial animals among his companions, and I received a young goat (jadha'ah). The Messenger of Allah (saw) said: 'Sacrifice it.'"

- Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, ka thënë: Na ka treguar Xherir ed-Dabbiu, nga Bejani dhe Ismaili, nga Kajs b. Ebu Hazimi, nga Ukbe b. Amiri, i cili ka thënë: Ka thënë i Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.): «Më janë shpallur disa ajete, që nuk janë parë më madhështore se ato»; d.m.th. dy suret mbrojtëse (el-Muavvidhetejn).
١٠٩٦ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ الضَّبِّيُّ، عَنْ بَيَانٍ وَإِسْمَاعِيلَ ، عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ أَبِي حَازِمٍ ، عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: «أُنْزِلَ عَلَيَّ آيَاتٌ لَمْ يُرَ أَعْظَمُ مِنْهُنَّ»؛ يَعْنِي الْمُعَوِّذَتَيْنِ.
1096 - Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Jarir al-Dabbi narrated to us, from Bayan and Isma'il, from Qays ibn Abi Hazim, from 'Uqbah ibn 'Amir, who said: The Messenger of Allah (pbuh) said: "Verses have been revealed to me, the likes of which have never been seen before"; meaning the Mu'awwidhatayn.

1097 - Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, i cili ka thënë: Na ka treguar El-Ferexh bin Fedale, nga një burrë, nga Ebu Aliu, nga Ukbe bin Amir:
«Se ata ishin në një udhëtim dhe ne dëshiruam që ai të na printe në namaz, por ai refuzoi dhe tha: Le të dalë përpara një burrë prej jush, që t'ju tregoj se përse nuk po ju prij në namaz! Vërtet, e kam dëgjuar të Dërguarin e Allahut (s.a.v.s.) duke thënë: Kush i prin një populli në namaz dhe e plotëson atë me ta, ai ka shpërblimin për vete dhe për ta, e nëse nuk e bën këtë (nuk e plotëson), ata e kanë plotësimin, ndërsa ai ka mangësinë».
١٠٩٧ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا الْفَرَجُ بْنُ فَضَالَةَ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي عَلِيٍّ ، عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ «أَنَّهُمْ كَانُوا فِي سَفَرٍ، فَأَرَدْنَاهُ أَنْ يُصَلِّيَ بِنَا فَأَبَى وَقَالَ: لِيَتَقَدَّمْ رَجُلٌ مِنْكُمْ حَتَّى أُحَدِّثَكُمْ لِمَ لَا أُصَلِّي بِكُمْ! إِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ - ﷺ - يَقُولُ: مَنْ أَمَّ قَوْمًا فَأَتَمَّ بِهِمُ الصَّلَاةَ فَلَهُ وَلَهُمْ، وَإِنْ لَمْ يَفْعَلْ كَانَ لَهُمُ التَّمَامُ وَلَهُ النُّقْصَانُ».
1097 - Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Al-Faraj ibn Fadalah narrated to us, from a man, from Abu Ali, from Uqbah ibn Amir:

That they were on a journey, and we wanted him to lead us in prayer, but he refused and said: "Let one of you step forward so that I may tell you why I do not lead you in prayer! Indeed, I heard the Messenger of Allah (saw) saying: Whoever leads a people and completes the prayer for them, then it is for him and for them; but if he does not do so, then for them is the completion and for him is the deficiency."

1098 - Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, ka thënë: Na ka treguar Ibn el-Mubaraku, nga Ibrahim bin Neshiti, nga Ka'b bin Alkame, nga Ebu el-Hejthemi, i cili ka thënë:

«I është thënë Ukbe bin Amirit: "Vërtet ne kemi fqinj që pinë alkool dhe bëjnë kështu e ashtu". Ai tha: I ka thënë atij: "Vërtet unë e kam dëgjuar Pejgamberin (s.a.v.s.) duke thënë: 'Kushdo që sheh një të metë dhe e mbulon atë, është sikur ai që ka ngjallur një vajzë të varrosur për së gjalli nga varri i saj'."»
١٠٩٨ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ نَشِيطٍ ، عَنْ كَعْبِ بْنِ عَلْقَمَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي الْهَيْثَمِ ، قَالَ: «قِيلَ لِعُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ : إِنَّ لَنَا جِيرَانًا يَشْرَبُونَ الْخَمْرَ وَيَفْعَلُونَ وَيَفْعَلُونَ، قَالَ: فَقَالَ لَهُ: إِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ - ﷺ - يَقُولُ: مَنْ رَأَى عَوْرَةً فَسَتَرَهَا كَانَ كَمَنْ أَحْيَا مَوْءُودَةً مِنْ قَبْرِهَا».
1098 - Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Ibn al-Mubarak narrated to us, from Ibrahim bin Nashit, from Ka'b bin 'Alqamah, from Abu al-Haytham, who said:
"It was said to 'Uqbah bin 'Amir: 'Indeed, we have neighbors who drink wine and do such and such.' He said: So he said to him: 'Indeed, I heard the Messenger of Allah (saw) saying: "Whoever sees a fault and conceals it, it is as if he has brought to life a baby girl buried alive from her grave."'"

1099 - Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, ka thënë: Na ka treguar Hishami, nga Jahja, nga Ebu Selami, nga Abdullah bin Zejd el-Ezreki, nga Ukbe bin Amir el-Xhuheni, i cili ka thënë: E kam dëgjuar Pejgamberin (s.a.v.s.) duke thënë: «Vërtet, Allahu i Madhëruar i fut tre persona në Xhenet për shkak të një shigjete të vetme: prodhuesin e saj që shpreson shpërblimin me prodhimin e saj, atë që gjuan me të dhe atë që e furnizon (ia jep) atë.»
١٠٩٩ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ، عَنْ يَحْيَى ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَّامٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ الْأَزْرَقِ ، عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ الْجُهَنِيِّ ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ - ﷺ - يَقُولُ: «إِنَّ اللهَ ﷿ لَيُدْخِلُ الثَّلَاثَةَ بِالسَّهْمِ الْوَاحِدِ الْجَنَّةَ؛ صَانِعَهُ يَحْتَسِبُ بِصَنْعَتِهِ الْخَيْرَ، وَالرَّامِيَ بِهِ، وَالْمُمِدَّ بِهِ».

- Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Hisham narrated to us, from Yahya, from Abu Sallam, from Abdullah bin Zayd al-Azraq, from Uqbah bin Amir al-Juhani, who said: I heard the Prophet (pbuh) saying: "Indeed, Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, admits three people into Paradise by a single arrow: its maker who seeks reward through his craft, the one who shoots it, and the one who hands it over."

1100 - Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, i cili ka thënë: Na ka treguar Hishami, nga Jahja bin Ebi Kethiri, nga Ebu Selami, nga Abdullah bin Zejd el-Ezreku, nga Ukbe bin Amiri, i cili ka thënë: Pejgamberi (s.a.v.s.) ka thënë:
«Gjuani dhe kalëroni, por të gjuani është më e dashur për mua sesa të kalëroni. Çdo gjë me të cilën argëtohet njeriu është e kotë (batil), përveç gjuajtjes së njeriut me harkun e tij, stërvitjes së kalit të tij apo lojës me gruan e tij, sepse këto janë nga e vërteta (el-hakk). Kushdo që e lë gjuajtjen pasi e ka mësuar atë, ai ka mohuar atë që ka mësuar».
١١٠٠ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَّامٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ الْأَزْرَقِ ، عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ ، قَالَ: قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ: «ارْمُوا وَارْكَبُوا، وَأَنْ تَرْمُوا أَحَبُّ إِلَيَّ مِنْ أَنْ تَرْكَبُوا، وَكُلُّ شَيْءٍ يَلْهُو بِهِ الرَّجُلُ بَاطِلٌ إِلَّا رَمْيَ الرَّجُلِ بِقَوْسِهِ أَوْ تَأْدِيبَهُ فَرَسَهُ أَوْ مُلَاعَبَتَهُ امْرَأَتَهُ فَإِنَّهُنَّ مِنَ الْحَقِّ، وَمَنْ تَرَكَ الرَّمْيَ بَعْدَمَا عَلِمَهُ فَقَدْ كَفَرَ الَّذِي عَلِمَهُ».

- Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Hisham narrated to us, from Yahya bin Abi Kathir, from Abu Sallam, from Abdullah bin Zayd al-Azraq, from Uqbah bin Amir, he said: The Prophet (saw) said:
"Shoot and ride, and that you shoot is more beloved to me than that you ride. Every thing with which a man amuses himself is vain except for a man's shooting with his bow, or his training of his horse, or his playing with his wife, for these are from the truth. And whoever leaves shooting after he has learned it has indeed shown ingratitude for that which he learned."

1101 - Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, i cili ka thënë: Na ka treguar Hammad bin Seleme, nga Zijad bin Mihraku, nga Shehr bin Haushebi, nga Ukbe bin Amiri, i cili ka thënë: «Mora abdest dhe hyra në xhami ndërsa i Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.) po mbante hytbe, dhe e dëgjova duke thënë: Kush merr abdest dhe e përsos abdestin, pastaj fal namazin e obliguar duke e ruajtur dhe duke u përqendruar në të derisa ta përfundojë, ai do të jetë (i pastër nga mëkatet) sikur në ditën kur e ka lindur nëna e tij».
١١٠١ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ زِيَادِ بْنِ مِخْرَاقٍ ، عَنْ شَهْرِ بْنِ حَوْشَبٍ ، عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ ، قَالَ: «تَوَضَّأْتُ فَدَخَلْتُ الْمَسْجِدَ وَرَسُولُ اللهِ - ﷺ - يَخْطُبُ، فَسَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ: مَنْ تَوَضَّأَ فَأَحْسَنَ الْوُضُوءَ ثُمَّ صَلَّى صَلَاةَ الْمَكْتُوبَةِ يَحْفَظُهَا وَيَعْقِلُهَا حَتَّى يَقْضِيَهَا كَانَ كَيَوْمِ وَلَدَتْهُ أُمُّهُ».

- Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Hammad ibn Salamah narrated to us, from Ziyad ibn Mikhraq, from Shahr ibn Hawshab, from 'Uqbah ibn 'Amir, who said: "I performed ablution and entered the mosque while the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) was delivering a sermon, and I heard him saying: 'Whoever performs ablution and perfects the ablution, then prays the prescribed prayer, preserving it and being mindful of it until he completes it, he will be as on the day his mother gave birth to him.'"

- Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, ka thënë: Na ka treguar Hishami, nga Katade, nga Kajs el-Xhudhami, nga Ukbe bin Amir, i cili ka thënë: Pejgamberi (s.a.v.s.) ka thënë: «Kush liron një skllav, ai do të jetë shpëtimi i tij nga Zjarri, çdo gjymtyrë për çdo gjymtyrë».
١١٠٢ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، عَنْ قَيْسٍ الْجُذَامِيِّ ، عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ ، قَالَ: قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ: «مَنْ أَعْتَقَ رَقَبَةً كَانَ فِدَاؤُهُ مِنَ النَّارِ مَكَانَ كُلِّ عُضْوٍ عُضْوًا».
1102 - Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Hisham narrated to us, from Qatadah, from Qays al-Judhami, from 'Uqbah ibn 'Amir, who said: The Prophet (saw) said: 'Whoever frees a slave, it will be his ransom from the Fire, each limb for a limb.'

1103 - Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, ka thënë: Na ka treguar Abdullah bin el-Mubareku, nga Usame bin Zejdi, nga Jezid bin Ebi Habibi, nga ai që ka dëgjuar Ukbe bin Amirin duke thënë: «Pejgamberi i Allahut (s.a.v.s.) mbajti hytbe dhe lexoi: ﴿وَأَعِدُّوا لَهُمْ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُمْ مِنْ قُوَّةٍ﴾ (Dhe përgatitni kundër tyre sa të mundni forcë), e pastaj tha: “Vini re, vërtet forca është gjuajtja! Vini re, vërtet forca është gjuajtja!”»
١١٠٣ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ ، عَنْ أُسَامَةَ بْنِ زَيْدٍ ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ ، عَمَّنْ سَمِعَ عُقْبَةَ بْنَ عَامِرٍ يَقُولُ: «خَطَبَ رَسُولُ اللهِ - ﷺ - فَقَرَأَ ﴿وَأَعِدُّوا لَهُمْ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُمْ مِنْ قُوَّةٍ﴾، فَقَالَ: أَلَا إِنَّ الْقُوَّةَ الرَّمْيُ، أَلَا إِنَّ الْقُوَّةَ الرَّمْيُ».
1103 - Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Abdullah bin al-Mubarak narrated to us, from Usamah bin Zayd, from Yazid bin Abi Habib, from someone who heard Uqbah bin Amir saying: "The Messenger of Allah (pbuh) delivered a sermon and recited: {And prepare against them whatever power you can}, then he said: 'Indeed, power is shooting, indeed, power is shooting.'"
