1698 - Na ka treguar Junusi, i cili ka thënë: Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, i cili ka thënë: Na ka treguar Shube, nga Abdurrabbihi, i cili ka thënë: Kam dëgjuar Ebu Seleme bin Abdurrahmanin duke thënë: «Kam dëgjuar Ebu Hurejrën dhe Ibn Abbasin duke u mospajtuar rreth gruas së cilës i vdes burri ndërkohë që është shtatzënë. Ibn Abbasi tha: 'Afati i saj është ai që zgjat më shumë (nga dy afatet)', ndërsa Ebu Hurejra tha: 'Kur të lindë atë që ka në barkun e saj, ajo është e lirë (të martohet)'. Atëherë ata më dërguan te Umm Seleme, kështu që shkova te ajo dhe e pyeta. Ajo tha: Subeja bint el-Harith lindi pesëmbëdhjetë ditë pas vdekjes së burrit të saj. Dy burra i kërkuan dorën dhe ajo pëlqeu njërin prej tyre, por ata (të afërmit) u frikësuan se ajo do të vendoste vetë, andaj i thanë: 'Nuk të lejohet martesa'. Ajo erdhi te Pejgamberi (s.a.v.s.) dhe ia përmendi këtë, e ai tha: 'Përkundrazi, të lejohet martesa, martohu me kë të dëshirosh'.»
١٦٩٨ - حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ رَبِّهِ ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا سَلَمَةَ بْنَ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، قَالَ: «سَمِعْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ، وَابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ اخْتَلَفَا فِي الْمَرْأَةِ إِذَا تُوُفِّيَ عَنْهَا زَوْجُهَا وَهِيَ حَامِلٌ؛ فَقَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ: آخِرُ الْأَجَلَيْنِ، وَقَالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ: إِذَا وَضَعَتْ مَا فِي بَطْنِهَا فَقَدْ حَلَّتْ، فَبَعَثَانِي إِلَى أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ ، فَأَتَيْتُهَا فَسَأَلْتُهَا، فَقَالَتْ: نَفِسَتْ سُبَيْعَةُ بِنْتُ الْحَارِثِ بَعْدَ وَفَاةِ زَوْجِهَا بِخَمْسَ عَشْرَةَ، فَخَطَبَهَا رَجُلَانِ، فَهَوِيَتْ أَحَدَهُمَا، فَخَشُوا أَنْ تَفْتَاتَ بِنَفْسِهَا، فَقَالُوا: لَمْ يَحِلَّ لَكِ الْأَزْوَاجُ، فَأَتَتِ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَذَكَرَتْ ذَلِكَ لَهُ، فَقَالَ: بَلَى، قَدْ حَلَّتْ لَكِ الْأَزْوَاجُ فَانْكِحِي مَنْ شِئْتِ.»
1698 - Yunus narrated to us, he said: Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Shu'bah narrated to us, from 'Abd Rabbih, he said: I heard Abu Salamah bin 'Abd al-Rahman say: "I heard Abu Hurayrah and Ibn 'Abbas differing regarding a woman whose husband dies while she is pregnant. Ibn 'Abbas said: 'The later of the two terms,' while Abu Hurayrah said: 'When she gives birth to what is in her womb, she becomes lawful (to remarry).' So they sent me to Umm Salamah, and I went to her and asked her. She said: 'Subay'ah bint al-Harith gave birth fifteen days after the death of her husband. Two men proposed to her, and she preferred one of them. They feared she might act on her own, so they said: "It is not lawful for you to marry." She then went to the Prophet (pbuh) and mentioned that to him, and he said: "Yes, marriages have become lawful for you, so marry whomever you wish."'"

1699 - Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, i cili ka thënë: Na ka treguar Muhamed bin Thabit el-Bunani, nga babai i tij, nga Shehr bin Hausheb, nga Umm Seleme, nga Pejgamberi (s.a.v.s.), se ai e ka lexuar: ﴿عَمَلٌ غَيْرُ صَالِحٍ﴾ (Vepër jo e mirë).
١٦٩٩ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ ثَابِتٍ الْبُنَانِيُّ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ شَهْرِ بْنِ حَوْشَبٍ ، عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ، «أَنَّهُ قَرَأَ: ﴿عَمَلٌ غَيْرُ صَالِحٍ﴾».
1699 - Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Muhammad ibn Thabit al-Bunani narrated to us, from his father, from Shahr ibn Hawshab, from Umm Salama, from the Prophet (pbuh), "that he recited: {a deed other than righteous}."

1700 - Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, ka thënë: Na ka treguar Hemmami, nga Katade, nga el-Haseni, nga Dabbe b. Mihsan, nga Umm Seleme, se Pejgamberi (s.a.v.s.) ka thënë: "Do të ketë prijës, veprimet e të cilëve do t'i njihni dhe do t'i mohoni. Kushdo që i mohon, është i pafajshëm, dhe kushdo që i urren, është i shpëtuar. Por, (mëkati bie mbi) atë që pajtohet dhe i ndjek ata." Ata thanë: "O Pejgamber i Allahut, a nuk duhet t'i vrasim të degjeneruarit prej tyre?" Ai tha: "Jo, përderisa ata falen."
١٧٠٠ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ ، عَنْ ضَبَّةَ بْنِ مِحْصَنٍ ، عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ: «سَيَكُونُ أُمَرَاءُ، فَتَعْرِفُونَ وَتُنْكِرُونَ، فَمَنْ أَنْكَرَ فَقَدْ بَرِئَ، وَمَنْ كَرِهَ فَقَدْ سَلِمَ، وَلَكِنْ مَنْ رَضِيَ وَتَابَعَ فَقَالُوا: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، أَفَلَا نَقْتُلُ فَجَرَتَهُمْ؟ فَقَالَ لَا، مَا صَلَّوْا».

Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Hammam narrated to us, from Qatadah, from al-Hasan, from Dabbah bin Mihsan, from Umm Salamah, that the Messenger of Allah (saw) said: "There will be leaders, and you will recognize and disapprove. So whoever disapproves is free, and whoever dislikes is safe, but [the sin is upon] him who is pleased and follows." They said: "O Messenger of Allah, should we not kill their wicked ones?" He said: "No, as long as they pray."

1701 - Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, i cili ka thënë: Na ka treguar Shube, i cili ka thënë: Na ka treguar Humejd bin Nafiu el-Medeni, i cili ka thënë: Kam dëgjuar Zejneb bint Ummu Seleme duke treguar nga nëna e saj, Ummu Seleme, se: «Një gruaje i vdiq burri dhe asaj iu sëmurën sytë. Pejgamberi (s.a.v.s.) u pyet: A mund të lyejë ajo sytë me kuhl? Ai tha: Jo, secila prej jush qëndronte në shtëpinë e burrit të saj për një vit - ose tha: në rrobat më të vjetra të shtëpisë së saj për një vit - e kur kalonte ndonjë qen, ajo hidhte një bajgë e pastaj dilte. Jo, derisa të kalojnë katër muaj e dhjetë ditë».
١٧٠١ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا حُمَيْدُ بْنُ نَافِعٍ الْمَدَنِيُّ ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ زَيْنَبَ بِنْتَ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ ، تُحَدِّثُ عَنْ أُمِّهَا أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ ، «أَنَّ امْرَأَةً تُوُفِّيَ عَنْهَا زَوْجُهَا، فَاشْتَكَتْ عَيْنَاهَا، فَسُئِلَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ أَتَكْتَحِلُ؟ فَقَالَ: لَا، قَدْ كَانَتْ إِحْدَاكُنَّ تَمْكُثُ فِي بَيْتِ زَوْجِهَا حَوْلًا - أَوْ قَالَ: فِي أَحْلَاسِ بَيْتِهَا حَوْلًا - فَإِذَا مَرَّ كَلْبٌ رَمَتْ بِبَعْرَةٍ ثُمَّ خَرَجَتْ، لَا، حَتَّى تَمْضِيَ أَرْبَعَةُ أَشْهُرٍ وَعَشْرٌ».
1701 - Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Shu'bah narrated to us, he said: Humayd ibn Nafi' al-Madani narrated to us, he said: I heard Zaynab bint Umm Salamah narrating from her mother Umm Salamah,

that a woman whose husband had died had a complaint in her eyes, so the Prophet (pbuh) was asked: 'Can she apply kohl?' He said: 'No. One of you used to remain in her husband's house for a year - or he said: in the rags of her house for a year - and when a dog passed by, she would throw a piece of dung and then come out. No, until four months and ten [days] have passed.'

1702 - Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, i cili ka thënë: Na ka treguar Harb bin Shedadi, nga Jahja bin Ebi Kethiri, nga Ebu Seleme, nga Umm Seleme, se Pejgamberi (s.a.v.s.) u fal në shtëpinë e saj pas ikindisë dy rekate. Ajo e pyeti atë për këtë, e ai tha: "I falja dy rekate pas drekës, por erdhi një delegacion dhe më nxunë me punë."
١٧٠٢ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا حَرْبُ بْنُ شَدَّادٍ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ ، «أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ صَلَّى فِي بَيْتِهَا بَعْدَ الْعَصْرِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ، فَسَأَلَتْهُ عَنْ ذَلِكَ، فَقَالَ: كُنْتُ أُصَلِّي بَعْدَ الظُّهْرِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ، فَجَاءَ وَفْدٌ فَشَغَلُونِي».
1702 - Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Harb ibn Shaddad narrated to us, from Yahya ibn Abi Kathir, from Abu Salamah, from Umm Salamah, "that the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) prayed two rak'ahs in her house after the 'Asr prayer. She asked him about that, and he said: 'I used to pray two rak'ahs after the Zuhr prayer, but a delegation came and kept me busy.'"

1703 - Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, i cili ka thënë: Na ka treguar Shu'be, i cili ka thënë: Më ka njoftuar Ejubi dhe Halid el-Hadha, nga el-Haseni, i cili ka thënë: Na ka njoftuar nëna jonë, nga Umm Seleme, bashkëshortja e Pejgamberit (s.a.v.s.), se Pejgamberi (s.a.v.s.) ka thënë për Ammarin: 'Ty do të të vrasë grupi kryengritës'.
١٧٠٣ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي أَيُّوبُ ، وَخَالِدٌ الْحَذَّاءُ ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَتْنَا أُمُّنَا ، عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ ، زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ، «أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ فِي عَمَّارٍ: تَقْتُلُكَ الْفِئَةُ الْبَاغِيَةُ».
1703 - Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Shu'bah narrated to us, he said: Ayyub and Khalid al-Hadhdha' informed me, from al-Hasan, he said: Our mother informed us, from Umm Salamah, the wife of the Prophet (pbuh),
'That the Prophet (pbuh) said regarding 'Ammar: "The rebellious group will kill you."'

1704 - Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, ka thënë: Na ka treguar El-Kasim bin el-Fadl, nga Muhamed bin Aliu, nga Umm Seleme, e cila ka thënë: Ka thënë i Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.): «Haxhi është xhihadi i çdo të dobëti».
١٧٠٤ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا الْقَاسِمُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ ، عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ ، قَالَتْ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: «الْحَجُّ جِهَادُ كُلِّ ضَعِيفٍ».
1704 - Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Al-Qasim ibn al-Fadl narrated to us, from Muhammad ibn 'Ali, from Umm Salamah, she said: The Messenger of Allah (pbuh) said: "Hajj is the jihad of every weak person."

1705 - Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, ka thënë: Na ka treguar Zem'ah, nga ez-Zuhriu, nga Abdullah bin Vehbi, nga Umm Seleme, e cila ka thënë: «Ebu Bekri doli si tregtar për në Busra në kohën e Pejgamberit (s.a.v.s.).»
١٧٠٥ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا زَمْعَةُ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ وَهْبٍ ، عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ ، قَالَتْ: «خَرَجَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ تَاجِرًا إِلَى بُصْرَى فِي زَمَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ».
1705 - Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Zam'ah narrated to us, from al-Zuhri, from 'Abdullah bin Wahb, from Umm Salamah, she said: 'Abu Bakr went out as a merchant to Busra during the time of the Prophet (pbuh).'

1706 - Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, i cili ka thënë: Na ka treguar Sakhr bin Xhuvejrije, nga Nafiu, nga Zejd bin Abdullah bin Omer, nga Abdullah bin Abdurrahman bin Ebi Bekër, nga Umm Seleme - tha: dhe Umm Seleme ishte tezja e Abdurrahmanit - e cila ka thënë: E kam dëgjuar të Dërguarin e Allahut (s.a.v.s.) duke thënë: «Ai që pi në enë prej argjendi, ai vetëm se gurgullon zjarrin e Xhehenemit» ose ka thënë: «Sikur gurgullon në barkun e tij zjarrin e Xhehenemit».
١٧٠٦ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا صَخْرُ بْنُ جُوَيْرِيَةَ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ ، عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ - قَالَ: وَكَانَتْ أُمُّ سَلَمَةَ خَالَةَ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ - قَالَتْ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ: «إِنَّ الَّذِي يَشْرَبُ فِي إِنَاءٍ مِنْ فِضَّةٍ، فَإِنَّمَا يُجَرْجِرُ نَارَ جَهَنَّمَ أَوْ قَالَ: كَأَنَّمَا يُجَرْجِرُ فِي بَطْنِهِ نَارَ جَهَنَّمَ».
1706 - Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Sakhr bin Juwayriyah narrated to us, from Nafi', from Zayd bin Abdullah bin Umar, from Abdullah bin Abdurrahman bin Abi Bakr, from Umm Salama - he said: and Umm Salama was the maternal aunt of Abdurrahman - she said:
I heard the Messenger of Allah (saw) saying: "Indeed, the one who drinks from a vessel of silver, he only gulps down the fire of Hell," or he said: "It is as if he is gulping down into his belly the fire of Hell."

1707 - Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, i cili ka thënë: Na ka treguar Hammad bin Seleme, nga Seid bin Xhumhan, i cili ka thënë: Më ka njoftuar Sefineja, skllavi i liruar i Umm Selemes, i cili ka thënë: «Më liroi Umm Seleme dhe më vuri kusht që t'i shërbeja të Dërguarit të Allahut (s.a.v.s.) sa të ishte gjallë».
١٧٠٧ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُمْهَانَ ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي سَفِينَةُ مَوْلَى أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ ، قَالَ: «أَعْتَقَتْنِي أُمُّ سَلَمَةَ، وَاشْتَرَطَتْ عَلَيَّ أَنْ أَخْدُمَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ مَا عَاشَ».
1707 - Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Hammad ibn Salamah narrated to us, from Sa'id ibn Jumhan, he said: Safinah, the freed slave of Umm Salamah, informed me, he said:

"Umm Salamah manumitted me, and she stipulated upon me that I should serve the Messenger of Allah (saw) as long as he lived."

1708 - Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, i cili ka thënë: Na ka treguar Shu'be, nga Mensuri, nga Salim bin Ebi el-Xha'di, nga Ebu Seleme, nga Ummu Seleme, se Pejgamberi (s.a.v.s.) nuk agjëronte dy muaj rresht, duke i bashkuar ata, përveç Shabanit dhe Ramadanit.
١٧٠٨ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ ، عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ أَبِي الْجَعْدِ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ ، «أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ لَمْ يَكُنْ يَصُومُ شَهْرَيْنِ يَجْمَعُ بَيْنَهُمَا إِلَّا شَعْبَانَ وَرَمَضَانَ».
1708 - Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Shu'bah narrated to us, from Mansur, from Salim bin Abi al-Ja'd, from Abu Salamah, from Umm Salamah, "that the Prophet (pbuh) did not fast two months, joining between them, except for Sha'ban and Ramadan."

1709 - Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, i cili ka thënë: Na ka treguar Ibrahim bin Sa'di, nga ez-Zuhriu, nga Hind bint el-Harith el-Kureshije, nga Umm Seleme, e cila ka thënë: «I Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.), kur jepte selam nga namazi, nuk qëndronte në vendin e tij përveçse pak derisa të ngrihej».

Ez-Zuhriu ka thënë: «Ne mendojmë se kjo ishte për shkak të grave, derisa ato të largoheshin».
١٧٠٩ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ هِنْدٍ بِنْتِ الْحَارِثِ الْقُرَشِيَّةِ ، عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ ، قَالَتْ: «كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا سَلَّمَ مِنَ الصَّلَاةِ، لَمْ يَلْبَثْ فِي مَقْعَدِهِ إِلَّا قَلِيلًا حَتَّى يَقُومَ»، قَالَ الزُّهْرِيُّ: فَنَرَى ذَلِكَ مِنْ أَجْلِ النِّسَاءِ حَتَّى يَمْضِينَ.
1709 - Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Ibrahim ibn Sa'd narrated to us, from al-Zuhri, from Hind bint al-Harith al-Qurashiyyah, from Umm Salama, she said: "When the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) finished the prayer with the taslim, he would not remain in his seat except for a little while before standing up."

Al-Zuhri said: "We consider that this was for the sake of the women, so that they might depart."

1710 - Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, ka thënë: Na ka treguar Shu'be, nga Musa bin Ebi Aisha, nga një mevla i Umm Selemes, nga Umm Seleme, se Pejgamberi (s.a.v.s.) kur falte namazin e sabahut thoshte: "O Allah, vërtet unë kërkoj prej Teje dije të dobishme, rrizk të mirë dhe vepër të pranuar."
١٧١٠ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ أَبِي عَائِشَةَ ، عَنْ مَوْلًى لِأُمِّ سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ «كَانَ إِذَا صَلَّى الصُّبْحَ قَالَ: اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ عِلْمًا نَافِعًا، وَرِزْقًا طَيِّبًا، وَعَمَلًا مُتَقَبَّلًا».
1710 - Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Shu'bah narrated to us, from Musa bin Abi 'Aishah, from a freed slave of Umm Salamah, from Umm Salamah, that the Messenger of Allah (saw) used to say when he prayed the morning prayer: "O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, good provision, and accepted deeds."

1711 - Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, ka thënë: Na ka treguar Shu'be, nga Katade, nga Seid b. el-Musejjib, nga Amir b. Ebi Umejje, vëllai i Umm Selemes, nga Umm Seleme, se i Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.) «gdhihej xhunub, pastaj lahej dhe agjëronte».

Seidi ka thënë: Ebu Hurejre e tërhoqi fetvanë e tij.
١٧١١ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ ، عَنْ عَامِرِ بْنِ أَبِي أُمَيَّةَ، أَخِي أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ «كَانَ يُصْبِحُ جُنُبًا، ثُمَّ يَغْتَسِلُ وَيَصُومُ» قَالَ سَعِيدٌ: فَرَدَّ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ فُتْيَاهُ.

Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Shu'bah narrated to us, from Qatadah, from Sa'id ibn al-Musayyib, from 'Amir ibn Abi Umayyah, the brother of Umm Salamah, from Umm Salamah, that the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) used to wake up in the morning in a state of Janaba, then he would perform Ghusl and fast.

Sa'id said: So Abu Hurayrah retracted his legal opinion.

1712 - Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, i cili ka thënë: Na ka treguar Shube, nga Mensuri, i cili ka thënë: E kam dëgjuar Esh-Sha'biun duke treguar nga Umm Seleme, se i Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.) «kur dilte nga shtëpia e tij thoshte: O Allah, vërtet unë kërkoj mbrojtje te Ti që të mos rrëshqas, ose të mos humbas, ose të mos bëj padrejtësi, ose të mos më bëhet padrejtësi, ose të mos veproj me injorancë, ose të tjerët të sillen me injorancë ndaj meje».
١٧١٢ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ الشَّعْبِيَّ ، يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ «كَانَ إِذَا خَرَجَ مِنْ بَيْتِهِ قَالَ: اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ أَنْ أَزِلَّ، أَوْ أَضِلَّ، أَوْ أَظْلِمَ، أَوْ أُظْلَمَ، أَوْ أَجْهَلَ، أَوْ يُجْهَلَ عَلَيَّ».
1712 - Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Shu'bah narrated to us, from Mansur, he said: I heard al-Sha'bi narrating from Umm Salamah, that the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) used to say when he left his house: "O Allah, I seek refuge in You from slipping, or going astray, or oppressing, or being oppressed, or acting ignorantly, or being acted ignorantly against."

1713 - Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, i cili ka thënë: Na ka treguar Ebu Ke'bi, nga Shehr bin Haushebi, i cili ka thënë: «Hyra te Umm Seleme dhe i thashë asaj: Më trego për lutjen që Pejgamberi (s.a.v.s.) e bënte më së shumti. Ajo tha: Lutja më e shpeshtë e Pejgamberit (s.a.v.s.) ishte: 'O Rrotullues i zemrave, përforcoje zemrën time në fenë Tënde!' I thashë: O i Dërguari i Allahut, ti po e shpeshton këtë lutje? Ai tha: 'Vërtet, zemra e birit të Ademit është midis dy gishtave të të Gjithëmëshirshmit (xh.sh.); atë që Ai dëshiron e mban në rrugë të drejtë, ndërsa atë që dëshiron e devijon'».
١٧١٣ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كَعْبٍ ، عَنْ شَهْرِ بْنِ حَوْشَبٍ ، قَالَ: «دَخَلْتُ عَلَى أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ ، فَقُلْتُ لَهَا: أَخْبِرِينِي بِأَكْثَرَ مَا كَانَ يَدْعُو بِهِ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ، فَقَالَتْ: كَانَ أَكْثَرُ دُعَاءِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ: يَا مُقَلِّبَ الْقُلُوبِ، ثَبِّتْ قَلْبِي عَلَى دِينِكَ فَقُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، إِنَّكَ تُكْثِرُ أَنْ تَدْعُوَ بِهَذَا؟ فَقَالَ إِنَّ قَلْبَ ابْنِ آدَمَ بَيْنَ إِصْبَعَيِ الرَّحْمَنِ ﷿، مَا شَاءَ أَقَامَ، وَمَا شَاءَ أَزَاغَ».
1713 - Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Abu Ka'b narrated to us, from Shahr bin Hawshab, who said: "I entered upon Umm Salama and said to her: 'Tell me about the supplication the Prophet (pbuh) used to make most frequently.' She said: 'The supplication the Prophet (pbuh) made most frequently was: "O Turner of hearts, keep my heart firm upon Your religion." I said: "O Messenger of Allah, you make this supplication very often?" He said: "Indeed, the heart of the son of Adam is between two fingers of the Most Merciful (the Mighty and Majestic); if He wills, He keeps it upright, and if He wills, He causes it to deviate."'"

1714 - Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, i cili ka thënë: Na ka treguar Shube, nga Ebu Is'haku, i cili ka thënë: E kam dëgjuar Ebu Seleme bën Abdurrahmanin duke treguar nga Umm Seleme, e cila ka thënë: "Pasha Allahun, ai nuk vdiq - do të thotë Pejgamberi (s.a.v.s.) - derisa shumica e namazit të tij ishte duke ndenjur ulur, dhe veprat më të dashura tek ai ishin ato që bëheshin vazhdimisht, edhe nëse ishin pak."
١٧١٤ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا سَلَمَةَ بْنَ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ ، قَالَتْ: «وَاللهِ، مَا مَاتَ - تَعْنِي النَّبِيَّ ﷺ - حَتَّى كَانَ أَكْثَرُ صَلَاتِهِ وَهُوَ قَاعِدٌ، وَكَانَ أَحَبُّ الْأَعْمَالِ إِلَيْهِ مَا دُووِمَ عَلَيْهِ وَإِنْ قَلَّ».
1714 - Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Shu'bah narrated to us, from Abu Ishaq, he said: I heard Abu Salamah bin 'Abd al-Rahman narrating from Umm Salamah, she said:

"By Allah, he did not die - meaning the Prophet (pbuh) - until most of his prayers were while he was sitting, and the most beloved of deeds to him were those done consistently, even if they were few."

1715 - Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, i cili ka thënë: Na ka treguar Kamil Ebu el-Ala, nga Habib bin Ebi Thabit, nga Umm Seleme, se Pejgamberi (s.a.v.s.) përdorte nura (pastrues qimesh) dhe e pastronte zonën e tij pubike me dorën e tij.
١٧١٥ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا كَامِلٌ أَبُو الْعَلَاءِ ، عَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ أَبِي ثَابِتٍ ، عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ «كَانَ يَتَنَوَّرُ وَيَلِي عَانَتَهُ بِيَدِهِ».
1715 - Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Kamil Abu al-Ala narrated to us, from Habib ibn Abi Thabit, from Umm Salama, that the Prophet (pbuh) 'used to apply depilatory cream and handle his pubic area with his own hand.'

1716 - Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, i cili ka thënë: Na ka treguar Imran, nga Ebu Junus el-Kushejri, nga Ubejdullah b. el-Kibtijeh, nga Umm Seleme, e cila ka thënë: Më ka thënë i Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.): «Do të vijë një popull që ia mësyjnë Shtëpisë (Qabes), derisa kur të jenë në një fushë të hapur (Bejda), do të fundosen në tokë.» Atëherë u tha: «O i Dërguari i Allahut, vërtet në mesin e tyre ka edhe të detyruar!» Ai tha: «Ata do të ringjallen sipas qëllimeve të tyre.»
١٧١٦ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عِمْرَانُ ، عَنْ أَبِي يُونُسَ الْقُشَيْرِيِّ ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الْقِبْطِيَّةِ ، عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ ، قَالَتْ: قَالَ لِي رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: «يُقْبِلُ قَوْمٌ يَؤُمُّونَ الْبَيْتَ، حَتَّى إِذَا كَانُوا بِبَيْدَاءَ مِنَ الْأَرْضِ خُسِفَ بِهِمْ فَقِيلَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، إِنَّ فِيهِمُ الْمُكْرَهَ! قَالَ: يُبْعَثُونَ عَلَى نِيَّاتِهِمْ».
1716 - Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: 'Imran narrated to us, from Abu Yunus al-Qushayri, from 'Ubayd Allah ibn al-Qibtiyyah, from Umm Salamah, she said: The Messenger of Allah (pbuh) said to me: "A group of people will come, heading for the House, until when they are in a desert land, they will be swallowed up by the earth." It was said: "O Messenger of Allah, among them might be those who were forced!" He said: "They will be resurrected according to their intentions."

1717 - Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, ka thënë: Na ka treguar Sufjan eth-Thevriu, nga Habib bin Ebi Thabiti, nga Vehbi, skllavi i liruar i Ebu Ahmedit, nga Umm Seleme, e cila ka thënë: «Hyri tek unë i Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.) ndërsa unë po vendosja hixhabin, e ai tha: 'Një rrotullim, jo dy rrotullime'.»
١٧١٧ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ الثَّوْرِيُّ ، عَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ أَبِي ثَابِتٍ ، عَنْ وَهْبٍ مَوْلَى أَبِي أَحْمَدَ ، عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ قَالَتْ: «دَخَلَ عَلَيَّ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَأَنَا أَخْتَمِرُ، فَقَالَ: لَيَّةٌ، لَا لَيَّتَانِ».
1717 - Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Sufyan al-Thawri narrated to us, from Habib ibn Abi Thabit, from Wahb the freed slave of Abu Ahmad, from Umm Salama, she said:
"The Messenger of Allah (pbuh) entered upon me while I was putting on a headscarf, and he said: 'One wrap, not two wraps.'"

1718 - Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, i cili ka thënë: Na ka treguar Zem'ah, i cili ka thënë:

Kam dëgjuar Ibn Ebi Mulejken duke thënë: «Ummu Seleme dëgjoi britmën për Aishen, kështu që dërgoi shërbëtoren e saj: 'Shiko çfarë ka ndodhur'. Ajo erdhi dhe tha: 'Ajo ka ndërruar jetë'. Atëherë (Ummu Seleme) tha: 'Allahu e mëshiroftë! Për Atë në dorën e të Cilit është shpirti im, ajo ishte njeriu më i dashur nga të gjithë te i Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.), përveç babait të saj'».
١٧١٨ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا زَمْعَةُ ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ ، يَقُولُ: «سَمِعَتْ أُمُّ سَلَمَةَ الصَّرْخَةَ عَلَى عَائِشَةَ، فَأَرْسَلَتْ جَارِيَتَهَا: انْظُرِي مَا صَنَعَتْ فَجَاءَتْ، فَقَالَتْ: قَدْ قَضَتْ، فَقَالَتْ: يَرْحَمُهَا اللهُ، وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ، لَقَدْ كَانَتْ أَحَبَّ النَّاسِ كُلِّهِمْ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ إِلَّا أَبُوهَا».

- Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Zam'ah narrated to us, he said: I heard Ibn Abi Mulaykah saying: "Umm Salamah heard the crying over Aisha, so she sent her slave-girl: 'Look at what she has done.' She came back and said: 'She has passed away.' So she said: 'May Allah have mercy on her. By the One in Whose Hand is my soul, she was the most beloved of all people to the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) except for her father.'"

- Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, i cili ka thënë: Na ka treguar Muhamed bin Ebi Humejd, nga el-Mutalib bin Abdilah bin Hantab, nga Umm Seleme, se Pejgamberi (s.a.v.s.) ka thënë: «Kushdo që ka dy vajza, ose dy motra, ose dy të afërme, dhe shpenzon për to derisa t'i plotësojë nevojat e tyre, ose derisa Allahu t'i pasurojë ato nga mirësia e Tij, ato do të jenë për të mburojë nga zjarri».
١٧١٩ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي حُمَيْدٍ ، عَنِ الْمُطَّلِبِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ حَنْطَبٍ ، عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ: «مَنْ كَانَتْ لَهُ ابْنَتَانِ أَوْ أُخْتَانِ أَوْ ذَوَاتَا قَرَابَةٍ، فَأَنْفَقَ عَلَيْهِمَا حَتَّى يَكْفِيَهُمَا، أَوْ يُغْنِيَهُمَا اللهُ مِنْ فَضْلِهِ، كَانَتَا لَهُ حِجَابًا مِنَ النَّارِ».
1719 - Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Muhammad ibn Abi Humayd narrated to us, from al-Muttalib ibn 'Abdullah ibn Hantab, from Umm Salamah, that the Prophet (pbuh) said: "Whoever has two daughters, or two sisters, or two female relatives, and spends on them until he suffices them, or Allah enriches them from His bounty, they will be a shield for him from the Fire."
