1119 - Na ka treguar Junusi, i cili ka thënë: Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, i cili ka thënë: Na ka treguar Kajsi, nga Abdilaziz bin Rufej'i, nga Temim bin Tarafe, nga Adij bin Hatimi, i cili ka thënë: «Një burrë dëshmoi (shqiptoi shehadetin) para Pejgamberit (s.a.v.s.) dhe tha: Kush i bindet Allahut dhe të Dërguarit të Tij, ai ka gjetur rrugën e drejtë, ndërsa kush i kundërshton ata të dy, ai ka humbur. Atëherë i Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.) tha: Hesht, sa orator i keq që je!»
١١١٩ - حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا قَيْسٌ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ بْنِ رُفَيْعٍ ، عَنْ تَمِيمِ بْنِ طَرَفَةَ ، عَنْ عَدِيِّ بْنِ حَاتِمٍ ، قَالَ: «تَشَهَّدَ رَجُلٌ عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ - ﷺ - فَقَالَ: مَنْ يُطِعِ اللهَ وَرَسُولَهُ فَقَدْ رَشَدَ، وَمَنْ يَعْصِهِمَا فَقَدْ غَوَى. فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: اسْكُتْ، فَبِئْسَ الْخَطِيبُ أَنْتَ».
1119 - Yunus narrated to us, he said: Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Qays narrated to us, from 'Abd al-'Aziz ibn Rufay', from Tamim ibn Tarafa, from 'Adi ibn Hatim, who said: "A man delivered a sermon in the presence of the Prophet (pbuh) and said: 'Whoever obeys Allah and His Messenger has followed the right path, and whoever disobeys them both has gone astray.'

So the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) said: 'Be silent, for what a bad orator you are!'"

1120 - Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, i cili ka thënë: Na ka treguar Shu'be, nga Abdilaziz bin Rufej', nga Temim et-Tai, nga Adij bin Hatim, se Pejgamberi (s.a.v.s.) ka thënë: «Kush betohet për diçka, e pastaj sheh se diçka tjetër është më e mirë se ajo, le të veprojë atë që është më e mirë dhe ta lërë (betimin).»
١١٢٠ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ بْنِ رُفَيْعٍ ، عَنْ تَمِيمٍ الطَّائِيِّ ، عَنْ عَدِيِّ بْنِ حَاتِمٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ - ﷺ - قَالَ: «مَنْ حَلَفَ عَلَى يَمِينٍ فَرَأَى غَيْرَهَا خَيْرًا مِنْهَا فَلْيَأْتِ الَّذِي هُوَ خَيْرٌ وَلْيَتْرُكْ».
1120 - Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Shu'bah narrated to us, from 'Abd al-'Aziz ibn Rufay', from Tamim al-Ta'i, from 'Adi ibn Hatim that the Prophet (pbuh) said: "Whoever takes an oath and then sees something else better than it, let him do that which is better and leave [the oath]."

1121 - Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, i cili ka thënë: Na ka treguar Hammad bin Seleme, nga Simak bin Harbi, nga Temim bin Tarefe se një burrë i kërkoi Adij bin Hatimit dyqind dërhemë, ndërsa ai u zemërua nga pakësia e tyre dhe u betua se nuk do t'ia jepte. Pastaj tha: "Sikur të mos e kisha dëgjuar të Dërguarin e Allahut (s.a.v.s.) duke thënë: 'Kush betohet për diçka dhe pastaj sheh se diçka tjetër është më e mirë se ajo, le të bëjë atë që është më e mirë dhe le të shlyejë betimin e tij', nuk do të të jepja asgjë, por ato janë për ty nga dhënia ime."
١١٢١ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ ، عَنْ تَمِيمِ بْنِ طَرَفَةَ «أَنَّ رَجُلًا سَأَلَ عَدِيَّ بْنَ حَاتِمٍ مِائَتَيْ دِرْهَمٍ، فَغَضِبَ مِنْ قِلَّتِهَا وَحَلَفَ أَنْ لَا يُعْطِيَهُ، ثُمَّ قَالَ: لَوْلَا أَنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ - ﷺ - يَقُولُ: مَنْ حَلَفَ عَلَى يَمِينٍ فَرَأَى غَيْرَهَا خَيْرًا مِنْهَا فَلْيَأْتِ الَّذِي هُوَ خَيْرٌ وَلْيُكَفِّرْ يَمِينَهُ، مَا أَعْطَيْتُكَ شَيْئًا، وَلَكِنْ هِيَ لَكَ فِي عَطَائِي».
1121 - Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Hammad bin Salamah narrated to us, from Simak bin Harb, from Tamim bin Tarafa 'that a man asked 'Adi bin Hatim for two hundred dirhams, so he became angry at its small amount and swore that he would not give it to him. Then he said: Had I not heard the Messenger of Allah (saw) saying: "Whoever takes an oath and then sees something else better than it, let him do that which is better and expiate for his oath," I would not have given you anything, but it is yours from my allowance.'

1122 - Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, i cili ka thënë: Na ka treguar Shube, i cili ka thënë: Më ka njoftuar Amër bin Murre, i cili e ka dëgjuar Abdullah bin Amrin, maulanë e Hasan bin Aliut, duke treguar se Adij bin Hatimi u pyet (për diçka), e ai u betua se nuk do të jepte, pastaj dha, dhe tha: E kam dëgjuar të Dërguarin e Allahut (s.a.v.s.) duke thënë: Kush betohet për diçka, e pastaj sheh se diçka tjetër është më e mirë se ajo, le të bëjë atë që është më e mirë dhe le të shlyejë (bëjë kefaret) për betimin e tij.
١١٢٢ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ مُرَّةَ ، سَمِعَ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ عَمْرٍو مَوْلَى الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ «يُحَدِّثُ أَنَّ عَدِيَّ بْنَ حَاتِمٍ سُئِلَ فَحَلَفَ أَنْ لَا يُعْطِيَ، ثُمَّ أَعْطَى،» فَقَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ - ﷺ - يَقُولُ: مَنْ حَلَفَ عَلَى يَمِينٍ فَرَأَى غَيْرَهَا خَيْرًا مِنْهَا فَلْيَأْتِ الَّذِي هُوَ خَيْرٌ وَلْيُكَفِّرْ يَمِينَهُ.
1122 - Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Shu'bah narrated to us, he said: 'Amr ibn Murrah informed me, he heard 'Abdullah ibn 'Amr, the freed slave of al-Hasan ibn 'Ali, narrating that 'Adi ibn Hatim was asked [for something] and he swore that he would not give, then he gave. He said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) saying: 'Whoever takes an oath and then sees something else better than it, let him do that which is better and expiate for his oath.'

1123 - Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, i cili ka thënë: Na ka treguar Shube, nga Ibn Ebi es-Seferi, nga esh-Sha'bi, nga Adiu, i cili ka thënë: «E pyeta të Dërguarin e Allahut (s.a.v.s.) për mi'radin (shigjetën pa pendë), e ai tha: 'Nëse e godet me majën e tij dhe e vret, haje, por nëse e godet me pjesën e tij të gjerë (të topitur) dhe e vret, ajo është vekidh (e vrarë nga goditja), prandaj mos e ha.' Thashë: Unë e lëshoj qenin tim. Ai tha: 'Nëse e lëshon qenin tënd mbi gjahun dhe përmend emrin e Allahut (bën bismilah), e ai e kap, atëherë haje. Por nëse ai ha prej tij, mos e ha, sepse ai e ka kapur për vete.' Thashë: Unë e lëshoj qenin tim dhe bashkë me qenin tim gjej një qen tjetër që e ka kapur (gjahun), e nuk e di se cili prej tyre e ka kapur! Ai tha: 'Mos e ha, sepse ti ke përmendur emrin e Allahut për qenin tënd dhe nuk e ke përmendur për tjetrin'.»
١١٢٣ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي السَّفَرِ ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ ، عَنْ عَدِيٍّ ، قَالَ: «سَأَلْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ - ﷺ - عَنِ الْمِعْرَاضِ فَقَالَ: إِذَا أَصَابَ بِحَدِّهِ فَقَتَلَ فَكُلْ، وَإِذَا أَصَابَ بِعَرْضِهِ فَقَتَلَ فَهُوَ وَقِيذٌ فَلَا تَأْكُلْ، قُلْتُ: أُرْسِلُ كَلْبِي، قَالَ: إِذَا أَرْسَلْتَ كَلْبَكَ عَلَى الصَّيْدِ وَسَمَّيْتَ فَأَخَذَ فَكُلْ، وَإِنْ أَكَلَ مِنْهُ فَلَا تَأْكُلْ فَإِنَّمَا أَمْسَكَ عَلَى نَفْسِهِ، قُلْتُ: أُرْسِلُ كَلْبِي فَأَجِدُ مَعَ كَلْبِي كَلْبًا قَدْ أَخَذَ لَا أَدْرِي أَيُّهُمَا أَخَذَهُ! قَالَ: فَلَا تَأْكُلْ؛ إِنَّمَا سَمَّيْتَ عَلَى كَلْبِكَ وَلَمْ تُسَمِّ عَلَى غَيْرِهِ».
1123 - Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Shu'bah narrated to us, from Ibn Abi al-Safar, from al-Sha'bi, from 'Adi, who said: "I asked the Messenger of Allah (saw) about the broad-headed arrow (al-mi'rad), and he said: 'If it strikes with its sharp edge and kills, then eat; but if it strikes with its broad side and kills, then it is a victim of a blunt instrument (waqidh), so do not eat.' I said: 'I release my dog.' He said: 'If you release your dog upon the game and mention the name of Allah, and it catches it, then eat. But if it eats from it, then do not eat, for it has only caught it for itself.' I said: 'I release my dog and I find another dog with my dog that has caught it, and I do not know which of them caught it!' He said: 'Then do not eat; for you only mentioned the name of Allah over your dog and you did not mention it over the other.'"

1124 - Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, i cili ka thënë: Na ka treguar Shu'be, nga El-Hakemi, nga Esh-Sha'bi, nga Adij, i cili ka thënë: «I thashë: O i Dërguari i Allahut, unë e lëshoj qenin tim për gjah» - dhe përmendi të ngjashmen me të.
١١٢٤ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنِ الْحَكَمِ ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ ، عَنْ عَدِيٍّ ، قَالَ: «قُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، أُرْسِلُ كَلْبِي عَلَى الصَّيْدِ» - فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَهُ.
1124 - Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Shu'bah narrated to us, from Al-Hakam, from Al-Sha'bi, from 'Adi, who said: "I said: O Messenger of Allah (saw), I release my dog for hunting" - and he mentioned the like of it.

1125 - Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, i cili ka thënë: Na ka treguar Verka, nga Mensuri, nga Ibrahimi, nga Hemmam b. el-Harithi, nga Adij b. Hatimi, i cili ka thënë: «I thashë: O i Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.), unë e gjuaj prenë me mi'rad. Ai tha: "Nëse e gjuaj prenë me mi'rad dhe ajo e shpon (lëkurën), atëherë haje, por nëse nuk e shpon, mos e ha." Ose ka thënë: "Nëse e godet me anën e saj të gjerë, mos e ha."» Ebu Davudi ishte në dyshim.
١١٢٥ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا وَرْقَاءُ ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، عَنْ هَمَّامِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ ، عَنْ عَدِيِّ بْنِ حَاتِمٍ ، قَالَ: «قُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، أَرْمِي بِالْمِعْرَاضِ الصَّيْدَ، قَالَ: إِذَا رَمَيْتَ بِالْمِعْرَاضِ الصَّيْدَ فَخَزَقَ فَكُلْ، وَإِنْ لَمْ يَخْزِقْ فَلَا تَأْكُلْ، أَوْ قَالَ: إِنْ أَصَابَ بِعَرْضِهِ فَلَا تَأْكُلْ،» شَكَّ أَبُو دَاوُدَ.
1125 - Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Warqa' narrated to us, from Mansur, from Ibrahim, from Hammam ibn al-Harith, from 'Adi ibn Hatim, who said: "I said: O Messenger of Allah, I shoot game with a Mi'rad. He (pbuh) said: 'If you shoot game with a Mi'rad and it pierces, then eat it. But if it does not pierce, do not eat it.' Or he said: 'If it strikes with its side, do not eat it.'" Abu Dawud was uncertain.

1126 - Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, i cili ka thënë: Na ka treguar Verka, nga Mensuri, nga Ibrahimi, nga Hemmam bin el-Harithi, nga Adij bin Hatimi, i cili ka thënë: «I thashë: O i Dërguari i Allahut, ne kemi qen të stërvitur, i lëshojmë ato pas gjahut dhe ato e kapin për ne. I Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.) tha: "Nëse janë të stërvitur, e kapin për ty dhe e vrasin, atëherë haje atë, përderisa me to nuk është bashkuar ndonjë qen tjetër (i huaj)."»
١١٢٦ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا وَرْقَاءُ ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، عَنْ هَمَّامِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ ، عَنْ عَدِيِّ بْنِ حَاتِمٍ ، قَالَ: «قُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، إِنَّ لَنَا كِلَابًا مُكَلَّبَةً فَنُرْسِلُهَا عَلَى الصَّيْدِ فَيُمْسِكْنَ عَلَيْنَا. فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: إِذَا كُنَّ مُكَلَّبَةً فَأَمْسَكْنَ عَلَيْكَ وَقَتَلْنَ فَكُلْ مَا لَمْ يَشْرَكْهَا كَلْبٌ مِنْ غَيْرِهَا».
1126 - Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Warqa' narrated to us, from Mansur, from Ibrahim, from Hammam bin al-Harith, from 'Adi bin Hatim, who said:

"I said: O Messenger of Allah, we have trained dogs that we send after game, and they catch it for us. The Messenger of Allah (pbuh) said: 'If they are trained and they catch it for you and kill it, then eat, as long as no other dog from outside them has shared with them.'"

1127 - Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, i cili ka thënë: Na ka treguar Shube, nga Simaku, i cili ka thënë: Kam dëgjuar Murej bin Katariun duke thënë: Kam dëgjuar Adi bin Hatimin duke treguar se ai e kishte pyetur Pejgamberin (s.a.v.s.) e i kishte thënë: "O i Dërguari i Allahut, unë zë gjahun por nuk gjej asgjë me çfarë ta therr atë përveç gurit të mprehtë (merve) dhe shkopit!" Ai tha: "Deridhe gjakun me çfarë të dëshirosh dhe përmende emrin e Allahut."
١١٢٧ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ سِمَاكٍ ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ مُرَيَّ بْنَ قَطَرِيٍّ يَقُولُ: سَمِعْتُ عَدِيَّ بْنَ حَاتِمٍ يُحَدِّثُ «أَنَّهُ سَأَلَ النَّبِيَّ - ﷺ - فَقَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، آخُذُ الصَّيْدَ فَلَا أَجِدُ مَا أَذْبَحُهُ بِهِ إِلَّا الْمَرْوَةَ وَالْعَصَا! فَقَالَ: أَمْرِرِ الدَّمَ بِمَا شِئْتَ وَاذْكُرِ اسْمَ اللهِ».

Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Shu'bah narrated to us, from Simak, who said: I heard Muray bin Qatari saying: I heard 'Adi bin Hatim narrating that he asked the Prophet (pbuh) and said: "O Messenger of Allah, I catch game but I do not find anything to slaughter it with except a sharp stone or a stick!"

So he said: "Cause the blood to flow with whatever you wish and mention the name of Allah."

1128 - Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, i cili ka thënë: Na ka treguar Shube, nga Simak bin Harbi, i cili ka thënë: E kam dëgjuar Murej bin Katariun duke treguar nga Adij bin Hatimi, i cili ka thënë: «I thashë: O i Dërguari i Allahut, babai im i mbante lidhjet farefisnore. – (Transmetuesi) tha: Dhe ai përmendi moralet e larta, e ai (Pejgamberi s.a.v.s.) tha: – Vërtet, babai yt synoi diçka dhe e arriti atë».
١١٢٨ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ مُرَيَّ بْنَ قَطَرِيٍّ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ عَدِيِّ بْنِ حَاتِمٍ قَالَ: «قُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، إِنَّ أَبِي كَانَ يَصِلُ الرَّحِمَ. قَالَ: وَذَكَرَ مَكَارِمَ الْأَخْلَاقِ فَقَالَ: إِنَّ أَبَاكَ أَرَادَ أَمْرًا فَأَدْرَكَهُ».
1128 - Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Shu'bah narrated to us, from Simak bin Harb, he said: I heard Muray bin Qatari narrating from 'Adi bin Hatim, who said: "I said: O Messenger of Allah (saw), indeed my father used to maintain the ties of kinship."

He said: And he mentioned noble character traits. So he (the Prophet) said: "Indeed, your father desired a matter and he attained it."

1129 - Dhe nga Adijju transmetohet se ka thënë: «I thashë: O i Dërguari i Allahut, ka ushqim që nuk e lë vetëm se nga sikleti. Ai (s.a.v.s.) tha: Mos e lë ushqimin në të cilin i ngjan krishterimit.»
١١٢٩ - وَعَنْ عَدِيٍّ قَالَ: «قُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، طَعَامًا لَا أَدَعُهُ إِلَّا تَحَرُّجًا. قَالَ: فَلَا تَدَعَنَّ طَعَامًا ضَارَعْتَ فِيهِ النَّصْرَانِيَّةَ.»
1129 And on the authority of 'Adi, who said: "I said: O Messenger of Allah, [there is] food that I do not leave except out of a sense of discomfort. He (pbuh) said: Do not leave any food in which you have resembled Christianity."

1130 - Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, i cili ka thënë: Na ka treguar Shu'be, i cili ka thënë: Më ka njoftuar Amër b. Murre, i cili e ka dëgjuar Hejthemen, e ky e ka dëgjuar Adij b. Hatimin të ketë thënë:

«I Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.) e përmendi Zjarrin, kërkoi mbrojtje prej tij dhe e ktheu fytyrën anash. Pastaj e përmendi Zjarrin, kërkoi mbrojtje prej tij dhe e ktheu fytyrën anash. Pastaj e përmendi Zjarrin, kërkoi mbrojtje prej tij dhe e ktheu fytyrën anash, e pastaj tha: "Ruajuni Zjarrit qoftë edhe me gjysmë hurme, e nëse nuk gjeni, atëherë me një fjalë të mirë".»
١١٣٠ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ مُرَّةَ ، سَمِعَ خَيْثَمَةَ ، سَمِعَ عَدِيَّ بْنَ حَاتِمٍ قَالَ: «ذَكَرَ رَسُولُ اللهِ - ﷺ - النَّارَ فَتَعَوَّذَ مِنْهَا وَأَشَاحَ بِوَجْهِهِ، ثُمَّ ذَكَرَ النَّارَ فَتَعَوَّذَ مِنْهَا وَأَشَاحَ بِوَجْهِهِ، ثُمَّ ذَكَرَ النَّارَ فَتَعَوَّذَ مِنْهَا وَأَشَاحَ بِوَجْهِهِ، فَقَالَ: اتَّقُوا النَّارَ وَلَوْ بِشِقِّ تَمْرَةٍ، فَإِنْ لَمْ تَجِدُوا فَبِكَلِمَةٍ طَيِّبَةٍ».

- Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Shu'bah narrated to us, he said: 'Amr ibn Murrah informed me, he heard Khaythamah, he heard 'Adi ibn Hatim, who said: "The Messenger of Allah (saw) mentioned the Fire, so he sought refuge from it and turned his face away. Then he mentioned the Fire, so he sought refuge from it and turned his face away. Then he mentioned the Fire, so he sought refuge from it and turned his face away. Then he said: 'Protect yourselves from the Fire, even if with half a date; and if you cannot find [that], then with a kind word.'"

1131 - Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, i cili ka thënë: Na ka treguar Shu'be, i cili ka thënë:
E kam dëgjuar Ebu Is'hakun duke thënë: Jepni sadaka; sepse unë e kam dëgjuar Abdullah bin Ma'kilin duke thënë: E kam dëgjuar Adij bin Hatimin duke thënë: E kam dëgjuar të Dërguarin e Allahut (s.a.v.s.) duke thënë: «Mbrohuni nga zjarri qoftë edhe me gjysmë hurme, e nëse nuk gjeni, atëherë me një fjalë të mirë».
١١٣١ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا إِسْحَاقَ يَقُولُ: تَصَدَّقُوا؛ فَإِنِّي سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ مَعْقِلٍ يَقُولُ: سَمِعْتُ عَدِيَّ بْنَ حَاتِمٍ يَقُولُ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ - ﷺ - يَقُولُ: «اتَّقُوا النَّارَ وَلَوْ بِشِقِّ تَمْرَةٍ، فَإِنْ لَمْ تَجِدُوا فَبِكَلِمَةٍ طَيِّبَةٍ».
1131 - Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Shu'bah narrated to us, he said: I heard Abu Ishaq saying: Give charity; for I heard 'Abdullah bin Ma'qil saying: I heard 'Adi bin Hatim saying: I heard the Messenger of Allah (saw) saying: "Protect yourselves from the Fire, even if with half a date, and if you cannot find [that], then with a kind word."

1132 - Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, i cili ka thënë: Na ka treguar Ebu Avane, nga Abdylmelik bin Umejri, nga më shumë se një person që i kanë treguar atij, nga Adij bin Hatimi, i cili u ka treguar atyre duke thënë: «Isha te Pejgamberi (s.a.v.s.) kur u përmend grabitja në rrugë, e i Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.) tha: Nuk do të kalojë shumë kohë derisa gruaja udhëtare të udhëtojë mes Mekës dhe Medinës pa ia mbajtur askush frenjtë e devesë së saj. Për Allahun, nuk do të kalojë shumë kohë derisa njeriu të marrë një grusht plot me ar e të mos gjejë askënd prej jush që ta pranojë atë. Dhe nuk ka asnjë prej jush që nuk do ta takojë Allahun e Madhëruar, pa pasur mes Tij dhe tij asnjë përkthyes. Ai do të shikojë djathtas e majtas dhe nuk do të shohë gjë tjetër përveç Zjarrit. Prandaj, kushdo prej jush që ka mundësi ta mbrojë fytyrën e tij nga Zjarri, qoftë edhe me gjysmë hurme, le ta bëjë këtë».
١١٣٢ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ ، عَنْ غَيْرِ وَاحِدٍ حَدَّثَهُ عَنْ عَدِيِّ بْنِ حَاتِمٍ أَنَّهُ حَدَّثَهُمْ قَالَ: «كُنْتُ عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ - ﷺ - فَذُكِرَ قَطْعُ السُّبُلِ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: لَا يَأْتِي عَلَيْكُمْ إِلَّا يَسِيرٌ حَتَّى تَسِيرَ الظَّعِينَةُ فِيمَا بَيْنَ مَكَّةَ وَالْمَدِينَةِ لَا يَأْخُذُ أَحَدٌ بِخِطَامِهَا، وَاللهِ لَا يَأْتِي عَلَيْكُمْ إِلَّا قَلِيلٌ حَتَّى يَأْخُذَ الرَّجُلُ مِلْءَ كَفِّهِ ذَهَبًا لَا يَجِدُ مَنْ يَقْبَلُهُ مِنْكُمْ، وَمَا مِنْكُمْ مِنْ أَحَدٍ إِلَّا سَيَلْقَى اللهَ ﷿ لَيْسَ بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَهُ تَرْجُمَانٌ، فَيَنْظُرُ يَمِينًا وَشِمَالًا فَلَا يَرَى إِلَّا النَّارَ، فَمَنِ اسْتَطَاعَ مِنْكُمْ أَنْ يَقِيَ وَجْهَهُ مِنَ النَّارِ وَلَوْ بِشِقِّ تَمْرَةٍ فَلْيَفْعَلْ».
1132 - Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Abu 'Awanah narrated to us, from 'Abd al-Malik ibn 'Umayr, from more than one person who narrated to him from 'Adi ibn Hatim that he narrated to them, saying: "I was with the Prophet (saw) and the cutting of roads (highway robbery) was mentioned. So the Messenger of Allah (saw) said: 'It will not be but a short time until the woman traveling on a camel will travel between Makkah and Madinah and no one will take hold of her camel's halter. By Allah, it will not be but a little while until a man will take a handful of gold and will not find anyone to accept it from you. And there is not one of you except that he will meet Allah (azwj) with no interpreter between him and Him. He will look to his right and to his left and will see nothing but the Fire. So whoever among you is able to protect his face from the Fire, even if it be with half a date, then let him do so.'"

1133 - Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, i cili ka thënë: Na ka treguar Muhamed bin Hazimi, nga el-A'meshi, nga Hejtheme, nga Adij bin Hatimi, i cili ka thënë:
«Nuk ka asnjë prej jush që nuk do ta takojë Allahun e Madhëruar në Ditën e Kiametit, pa pasur mes Tij dhe atij asnjë përkthyes. Ai do të shikojë në të djathtë dhe në të majtë të tij dhe nuk do të shohë asgjë tjetër përveç asaj që ka vepruar më parë. Pastaj do të shikojë para vetes dhe do të shohë Zjarrin. Prandaj, le ta ruajë secili prej jush veten nga Zjarri, qoftë edhe me gjysmë hurme».
Ebu Davudi nuk e ka transmetuar këtë si thënie të Pejgamberit (s.a.v.s.) (merfu'), por këtë hadith e kanë transmetuar si të tillë shokët e el-A'meshit: eth-Thevriu, Ebu Usame, dhe mendoj se edhe Ebu Muavije po ashtu.
١١٣٣ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ خَازِمٍ ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ ، عَنْ خَيْثَمَةَ ، عَنْ عَدِيِّ بْنِ حَاتِمٍ ، قَالَ: «مَا مِنْكُمْ مِنْ أَحَدٍ إِلَّا سَيَلْقَى اللهَ ﷿ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ لَيْسَ بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَهُ تَرْجُمَانٌ، فَيَنْظُرُ أَيْمَنَ مِنْهُ وَأَشْأَمَ مِنْهُ فَلَا يَرَى إِلَّا شَيْئًا قَدَّمَهُ، فَيَنْظُرُ فَإِذَا هُوَ بِالنَّارِ، فَلْيَتَّقِ أَحَدُكُمُ النَّارَ وَلَوْ بِشِقِّ تَمْرَةٍ».
لَمْ يَرْفَعْهُ أَبُو دَاوُدَ، وَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ قَدْ رَفَعَهُ أَصْحَابُ الْأَعْمَشِ: الثَّوْرِيُّ وَأَبُو أُسَامَةَ، وَأَظُنُّ أَبَا مُعَاوِيَةَ أَيْضًا.
1133 - Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Muhammad ibn Khazim narrated to us, from al-A'mash, from Khaythama, from 'Adi ibn Hatim, who said:
«There is none among you but will meet Allah (Mighty and Sublime) on the Day of Resurrection, with no interpreter between Him and him. He will look to his right and to his left and see nothing but what he has sent forth. Then he will look and behold, he is facing the Fire. So let each of you protect himself from the Fire, even if it be with half a date.»

Abu Dawud did not attribute it to the Prophet (marfu'), but this hadith was attributed to the Prophet (marfu') by the companions of al-A'mash: al-Thawri and Abu Usama, and I think Abu Mu'awiya as well.

1134 - Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, ka thënë: Na ka treguar Shu'be, nga Muhil bin Halife, ka thënë: E kam dëgjuar Adij bin Hatimin duke thënë: E kam dëgjuar të Dërguarin e Allahut (s.a.v.s.) duke thënë: «Mbrohuni nga zjarri qoftë edhe me gjysmë hurme, e nëse nuk gjeni, atëherë me një fjalë të mirë».
١١٣٤ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ مُحِلِّ بْنِ خَلِيفَةَ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ عَدِيَّ بْنَ حَاتِمٍ يَقُولُ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ - ﷺ - يَقُولُ: «اتَّقُوا النَّارَ وَلَوْ بِشِقِّ تَمْرَةٍ، فَإِنْ لَمْ تَجِدُوا فَبِكَلِمَةٍ طَيِّبَةٍ».
1134 - Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Shu'bah narrated to us, from Muhill bin Khalifah, who said: I heard 'Adi bin Hatim saying: I heard the Messenger of Allah (saw) saying: "Protect yourselves from the Fire, even if it is with half a date, and if you cannot find that, then with a kind word."

1135 - Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, i cili ka thënë: Na ka treguar Amër bin Thabiti, nga Simak bin Harbi, nga ai që ka dëgjuar Adij bin Hatimin duke thënë:
«Kur erdha në Medine, më kishte arritur lajmi se i Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.) thoshte: 'Vërtet, unë shpresoj që Allahu ta vendosë dorën e tij në dorën time'. Ai tha: Atëherë më mori me vete në banesën e tij dhe shërbëtorja na shtroi një jastëk - ose tha: një shtrojë - dhe u ulëm. Atëherë i Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.) tha: 'A e mohon të thuhet: Nuk ka zot tjetër përveç Allahut? A ka ndonjë zot tjetër përveç Allahut?'. Tha: Thashë: Jo. Ai tha: 'A e mohon të thuhet: Allahu është më i Madhi? A ka diçka më të madhe se Allahu?'. Tha: Thashë: Jo. Ai tha: 'Vërtet, ndaj jehudive është zemërimi (i Allahut), ndërsa të krishterët janë të humbur'. Tha: Thashë: Unë jam musliman. Tha: Atëherë pashë fytyrën e të Dërguarit të Allahut (s.a.v.s.) se si u gëzua për këtë, ose u ndriçua për këtë».
١١٣٥ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ ثَابِتٍ ، عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ ، عَمَّنْ سَمِعَ عَدِيَّ بْنَ حَاتِمٍ يَقُولُ: «لَمَّا قَدِمْتُ الْمَدِينَةَ وَقَدْ كَانَ يَبْلُغُنِي أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ - ﷺ - يَقُولُ: إِنِّي لَأَرْجُو أَنْ يَجْعَلَ اللهُ يَدَهُ فِي يَدِي، قَالَ: فَانْطَلَقَ بِي إِلَى رَحْلِهِ وَأَلْقَتْ لَنَا الْجَارِيَةُ وِسَادَةً - أَوْ قَالَ: بِسَاطًا - فَجَلَسْنَا، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: أَتُنْكِرُ أَنْ يُقَالَ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ؟ فَهَلْ مِنْ إِلَهٍ غَيْرُ اللهِ؟، قَالَ: قُلْتُ: لَا، قَالَ: فَتُنْكِرُ أَنْ يُقَالَ اللهُ أَكْبَرُ؟ فَهَلْ مِنْ شَيْءٍ أَكْبَرُ مِنَ اللهِ؟، قَالَ: قُلْتُ: لَا، قَالَ: فَإِنَّ الْيَهُودَ مَغْضُوبٌ عَلَيْهِمْ، وَالنَّصَارَى ضَالُّونَ، قَالَ: قُلْتُ: فَإِنِّي مُسْلِمٌ. قَالَ: فَرَأَيْتُ وَجْهَ رَسُولِ اللهِ - ﷺ - اسْتَبْشَرَ لِذَلِكَ أَوِ اسْتَنَارَ لِذَلِكَ».
1135 - Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: 'Amr ibn Thabit narrated to us, from Simak ibn Harb, from someone who heard 'Adi ibn Hatim saying:

"When I arrived in Madinah, it had reached me that the Messenger of Allah (saw) was saying: 'I hope that Allah will place his hand in my hand.' He said: So he took me to his dwelling, and the young girl threw a cushion for us—or he said: a carpet—and we sat down. Then the Messenger of Allah (saw) said: 'Do you deny that it should be said: There is no god but Allah? For is there any god other than Allah?' He said: I said: 'No.' He said: 'Do you deny that it should be said: Allah is the Greatest? For is there anything greater than Allah?' He said: I said: 'No.' He said: 'Indeed, the Jews are those who have earned [divine] anger, and the Christians are those who are astray.' He said: I said: 'Then I am a Muslim.' He said: And I saw the face of the Messenger of Allah (saw) rejoice at that, or it lit up at that."

- Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, i cili ka thënë: Na ka treguar Shube dhe Hushejmi,
nga Ebu Bishri, nga Seid ibn Xhubejri, nga Adij ibn Hatimi, i cili ka thënë:
«I thashë: O i Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.), unë e gjuaj gjahun dhe e gjej të nesërmen me shigjetën time në të! Ai tha: Nëse e gjen në të shigjetën tënde dhe e di se ajo e ka vrarë, dhe nuk sheh në të gjurmë të ndonjë bishë, atëherë haje.»
١١٣٦ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ وَهُشَيْمٌ ، عَنْ أَبِي بِشْرٍ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ ، عَنْ عَدِيِّ بْنِ حَاتِمٍ ، قَالَ: «قُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، أَرْمِي الصَّيْدَ فَأَجِدُهُ مِنَ الْغَدِ فِيهِ سَهْمِي! قَالَ: إِذَا وَجَدْتَ فِيهِ سَهْمَكَ وَعَلِمْتَ أَنَّهُ قَتَلَهُ وَلَمْ تَرَ فِيهِ أَثَرَ سَبُعٍ فَكُلْ».
1136 - Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Shu'bah and Hushaym narrated to us, from Abu Bishr, from Sa'id bin Jubayr, from 'Adi bin Hatim, who said: "I said: O Messenger of Allah, I shoot at game and find it the next day with my arrow in it! He (pbuh) said: 'If you find your arrow in it and you know that it killed it, and you do not see any trace of a predator in it, then eat.'"

1137 - Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, ka thënë: Na ka treguar Shube, nga Abdylmelik bin Mejsere, ka thënë: E kam dëgjuar Seid bin Xhubejrin duke treguar nga Adij bin Hatimi se ai «e ka pyetur Pejgamberin (s.a.v.s.) -» dhe përmendi diçka të ngjashme.
١١٣٧ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ مَيْسَرَةَ ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ سَعِيدَ بْنَ جُبَيْرٍ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ عَدِيِّ بْنِ حَاتِمٍ أَنَّهُ «سَأَلَ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ -» فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَهُ.
1137 - Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Shu'bah narrated to us, from 'Abd al-Malik ibn Maysarah, he said: I heard Sa'id ibn Jubayr narrating from 'Adi ibn Hatim that he "asked the Prophet (pbuh) -" and he mentioned the like of it.
