621 - Na ka treguar Junusi, na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, na ka treguar Hishami, nga Jahja bin Ebi Kethiri, nga Abdullah bin Ebi Katade, nga babai i tij, se Pejgamberi (s.a.v.s.) ka thënë: «Kur ndonjëri prej jush shkon në nevojtore, të mos pastrohet me dorën e tij të djathtë dhe të mos e prekë organin e tij gjenital me dorën e tij të djathtë».
٦٢١ - حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ: «إِذَا أَتَى أَحَدُكُمُ الْخَلَاءَ فَلَا يَسْتَنْجِيَنَّ بِيَمِينِهِ، وَلَا يَمَسَّ ذَكَرَهُ بِيَمِينِهِ».
621 - Yunus narrated to us, Abu Dawud narrated to us, Hisham narrated to us, from Yahya bin Abi Kathir, from Abdullah bin Abi Qatadah, from his father, that the Prophet (pbuh) said: "When one of you goes to the toilet, he should not perform istinja' with his right hand, nor should he touch his private part with his right hand."

622 - Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, na ka treguar Hishami, i cili ka thënë: Më ka shkruar Jahja b. Ebi Kethir, duke më treguar nga Abdullah b. Ebi Katade, e ky nga babai i tij, i cili ka thënë: Pejgamberi (s.a.v.s.) ka thënë: «Kur të thirret ikameti për namaz, mos u ngritni derisa të më shihni mua.»
٦٢٢ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ ، قَالَ: كَتَبَ إِلَيَّ يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ ، يُحَدِّثُنِي، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: «إِذَا ثُوِّبَ بِالصَّلَاةِ، فَلَا تَقُومُوا حَتَّى تَرَوْنِي».
622 - Abu Dawud narrated to us, Hisham narrated to us, he said: Yahya bin Abi Kathir wrote to me, narrating to me, from 'Abdullah bin Abi Qatadah, from his father, he said: The Messenger of Allah (pbuh) said: "When the call for prayer (Iqamah) is made, do not stand up until you see me."

623 - Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, na ka treguar Ibn el-Mubaraku, nga Ma'meri, nga Jahja bin Ebi Kethiri, nga Abdullah bin Ebi Katade, nga babai i tij, se Pejgamberi (s.a.v.s.) ka thënë: «Kur të thirret ikameti për namaz, mos u ngritni derisa të më shihni se kam ardhur».
٦٢٣ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ: «إِذَا أُقِيمَتِ الصَّلَاةُ فَلَا تَقُومُوا حَتَّى تَرَوْنِي قَدْ جِئْتُ».
623 - Abu Dawud narrated to us, Ibn al-Mubarak narrated to us, from Ma'mar, from Yahya ibn Abi Kathir, from 'Abdullah ibn Abi Qatadah, from his father, that the Prophet (pbuh) said: "When the prayer is established, do not stand up until you see that I have come."

624 - Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, na ka treguar Hishami, nga Jahja bin Ebi Kethiri, nga Abdullah bin Ebi Katade, nga babai i tij, i cili ka thënë: Pejgamberi (s.a.v.s.) ka thënë: «Mos i përzieni hurmat dhe rrushin e thatë së bashku (për të bërë pije), por përgatitni secilën prej tyre veçmas.»
٦٢٤ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: «لَا تَنْتَبِذُوا التَّمْرَ وَالزَّبِيبَ جَمِيعًا، وَانْتَبِذُوا كُلَّ وَاحِدٍ مِنْهُمَا عَلَى حِدَتِهِ».
624 - Abu Dawud narrated to us, Hisham narrated to us, from Yahya bin Abi Kathir, from Abdullah bin Abi Qatadah, from his father, who said: The Messenger of Allah (pbuh) said: "Do not make nabidh from dates and raisins together, but make nabidh from each of them separately."

625 - Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, na ka treguar Hishami, nga Jahja bin Ebi Kethiri, nga Abdullah bin Ebi Katade, nga babai i tij, i cili ka thënë: «Pejgamberi (s.a.v.s.) merrte frymë në enë, ose merrte frymë tri herë.»
٦٢٥ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، قَالَ: «كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ يَتَنَفَّسُ فِي الْإِنَاءِ، أَوْ يَتَنَفَّسُ ثَلَاثًا ثَلَاثًا».
625 - Abu Dawud narrated to us, Hisham narrated to us, from Yahya bin Abi Kathir, from Abdullah bin Abi Qatadah, from his father, who said: 'The Prophet (pbuh) used to breathe in the vessel, or he used to breathe three times, three times.'

626 - Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, na ka treguar Hishami, nga Jahja bin Ebi Kethiri, nga Abdullah bin Ebi Katade, nga babai i tij, i cili ka thënë: «Pejgamberi (s.a.v.s.) lexonte në dy rekatet e para të drekës dhe të iqindisë, ndonjëherë na e bënte të dëgjueshëm ndonjë ajet, e zgjaste rekatin e parë dhe e shkurtonte të dytin, dhe lexonte në dy rekatet e akshamit.»
٦٢٦ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، قَالَ: «كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ يَقْرَأُ فِي الرَّكْعَتَيْنِ الْأُولَيَيْنِ مِنَ الظُّهْرِ وَالْعَصْرِ، يُسْمِعُنَا الْآيَةَ أَحْيَانًا، وَيُطِيلُ فِي الرَّكْعَةِ الْأُولَى، وَيُقَصِّرُ فِي الثَّانِيَةِ، وَيَقْرَأُ فِي الرَّكْعَتَيْنِ مِنَ الْمَغْرِبِ».
626 - Abu Dawud narrated to us, Hisham narrated to us, from Yahya bin Abi Kathir, from Abdullah bin Abi Qatadah, from his father, who said: 'The Prophet (pbuh) used to recite in the first two rak'ahs of Zuhr and 'Asr, making us hear the verse sometimes, and he would lengthen the first rak'ah and shorten the second, and he would recite in the two rak'ahs of Maghrib.'

627 - Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, na ka treguar Ibn Ebi Dhibi, nga Seid el-Makburi, nga Abdullah bin Ebi Katade, nga babai i tij, i cili ka thënë: «Pejgamberi (s.a.v.s.) mbajti hytbe dhe përmendi xhihadin, e nuk vlerësoi asgjë mbi të, përveç namazit të obligueshëm».
٦٢٧ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ ، عَنْ سَعِيدٍ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، قَالَ: «خَطَبَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ، فَذَكَرَ الْجِهَادَ، فَلَمْ يُفَضِّلْ عَلَيْهِ شَيْئًا إِلَّا الْمَكْتُوبَةَ».
627 - Abu Dawud narrated to us, Ibn Abi Dhi'b narrated to us, from Sa'id al-Maqburi, from 'Abdullah bin Abi Qatadah, from his father, who said: "The Messenger of Allah (saw) delivered a sermon, and he mentioned Jihad, and he did not prefer anything over it except the obligatory prayer."

628 - Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, na ka treguar Ibn Ebi Dhibi, nga Seid el-Makburi, nga Abdullah bin Ebi Katade, nga babai i tij, i cili ka thënë: «Një burrë u ngrit dhe tha: O i Dërguari i Allahut, çfarë mendon nëse vritem në rrugën e Allahut, ku do të jem? Ai tha: Nëse vritesh në rrugën e Allahut duke qenë i durueshëm, duke shpresuar shpërblimin, duke përparuar e duke mos ikur, atëherë ti je në Xhenet. Pastaj ai heshti dhe ne pamë se po i zbriste shpallja, pastaj tha: Ku është ai burri? Ai tha: Këtu jam. Pejgamberi (s.a.v.s.) tha: Përveç nëse ka ndonjë borxh, sepse ai do të mbahet përgjegjës për të, kështu pohoi Xhibrili (a.s.).»
٦٢٨ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ ، عَنْ سَعِيدٍ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، قَالَ: «قَامَ رَجُلٌ، فَقَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، أَرَأَيْتَ إِنْ قُتِلْتُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ، أَيْنَ أَنَا؟ فَقَالَ: إِنْ قُتِلْتَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ صَابِرًا مُحْتَسِبًا، مُقْبِلًا غَيْرَ مُدْبِرٍ، فَأَنْتَ فِي الْجَنَّةِ، ثُمَّ سَكَتَ وَرَأَيْنَا أَنَّهُ يُنَزَّلُ عَلَيْهِ، ثُمَّ قَالَ: أَيْنَ الرَّجُلُ؟، فَقَالَ: هَاأَنَذَا، قَالَ: إِلَّا أَنْ يَكُونَ عَلَيْهِ دَيْنٌ، فَإِنَّهُ مَأْخُوذٌ بِهِ، كَذَلِكَ زَعَمَ جِبْرِيلُ ﷺ».
628 - Abu Dawud narrated to us, Ibn Abi Dhi'b narrated to us, from Sa'id al-Maqburi, from 'Abdullah bin Abi Qatadah, from his father, who said: "A man stood up and said: 'O Messenger of Allah, what do you think if I am killed in the cause of Allah, where will I be?' He said: 'If you are killed in the cause of Allah while being patient, seeking reward, advancing and not retreating, then you will be in Paradise.'

Then he remained silent, and we saw that revelation was being sent down to him. Then he said: 'Where is the man?' He said: 'Here I am.' He said: 'Except if he has a debt, for he is held accountable for it; thus Jibril (pbuh) stated.'"

629 - Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, na ka treguar Ibrahim bin Sa'di, nga babai i tij, nga Abdullah bin Ebi Katade el-Ensariu, nga babai i tij, se i Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.) kur i sillej ndonjë xhenaze, pyeste për të. Nëse flitej mirë për të, ai ia falte namazin, e nëse flitej keq për të, u thoshte familjarëve të tij: "Merreni ju atë," dhe nuk ia falte namazin.
٦٢٩ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ «كَانَ إِذَا أُتِيَ بِجِنَازَةٍ سَأَلَ عَنْهَا، فَإِنْ أُثْنِيَ عَلَيْهَا خَيْرًا صَلَّى عَلَيْهَا، وَإِنْ أُثْنِيَ عَلَيْهَا شَرًّا قَالَ لِأَهْلِهَا: شَأْنَكُمْ بِهَا، وَلَمْ يُصَلِّ عَلَيْهَا».
629 - Abu Dawud narrated to us, Ibrahim ibn Sa'd narrated to us, from his father, from 'Abdullah ibn Abi Qatadah al-Ansari, from his father, that the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) used to, when a funeral was brought to him, ask about it. If it was praised with good, he prayed over it, and if it was praised with evil, he said to its family: 'Take care of it yourselves,' and he did not pray over it.

630 - Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, na ka treguar Ibn Ebi Dhibi, nga Salih bin Ebi Hassani, nga Abdullah bin Ebi Katade, nga babai i tij, se i Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.) e dërgoi atë si vëzhgues, ndërkohë që shokët e tij ishin në ihram, kurse ai nuk ishte në ihram. Ai tha: "Pamë një gomar të egër, kërkova prej tyre një kamxhik, por ata refuzuan të ma jepnin, kështu që ia rrëmbeva njërit prej tyre. E zura atë dhe e thera, por ata refuzuan të hanin me mua. Pastaj erdhën te i Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.) dhe i thanë: 'O i Dërguari i Allahut, ne kemi bërë diçka që nuk e dimë se çfarë është (gjykimi i saj)'. Pasi e njoftuan atë, i Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.) tha: 'Hani dhe na jepni edhe neve të hamë'."
٦٣٠ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ ، عَنْ صَالِحِ بْنِ أَبِي حَسَّانَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، «أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ بَعَثَهُ طَلِيعَةً، وَأَصْحَابُهُ مُحْرِمُونَ، وَهُوَ غَيْرُ مُحْرِمٍ، قَالَ: فَرَأَيْنَا حِمَارًا، فَاسْتَعَرْتُ مِنْهُمْ سَوْطًا، فَأَبَوْا أَنْ يُعِيرُونِي، فَاخْتَلَسْتُهُ مِنْ بَعْضِهِمْ، فَأَصَبْتُهُ، فَنَحَرْتُهُ، فَأَبَوْا أَنْ يَأْكُلُوا مَعِي، فَأَتَوْا رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ، فَقَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، إِنَّا صَنَعْنَا شَيْئًا لَا نَدْرِي مَا هُوَ، فَأَخْبَرُوهُ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: كُلُوا وَأَطْعِمُونَا».
630 - Abu Dawud narrated to us, Ibn Abi Dhi'b narrated to us, from Salih bin Abi Hassan, from Abdullah bin Abi Qatadah, from his father, 'that the Messenger of Allah (saw) sent him as a scout, and his companions were in a state of Ihram, while he was not in a state of Ihram. He said: We saw a wild donkey, so I asked them for a whip, but they refused to lend it to me. So I snatched it from one of them, caught it, and slaughtered it. They refused to eat with me, so they came to the Messenger of Allah (saw) and said: O Messenger of Allah, we have done something and we do not know what its ruling is. They informed him, and the Messenger of Allah (saw) said: Eat, and feed us.'

631 - Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, na ka treguar Hishami, nga Jahja bin Ebi Kethiri, nga Abdullah bin Ebi Katade, nga babai i tij, se ai u nis bashkë me të Dërguarin e Allahut (s.a.v.s.) në vitin e Hudejbijes. Shokët e mi hynë në ihram, ndërsa unë nuk hyra në ihram. Pejgamberi (s.a.v.s.) u nis, ndërsa unë isha me shokët e mi. Disa prej tyre filluan të qeshnin me njëri-tjetrin, kështu që pashë dhe ja, një gomar i egër. E sulmova atë, e godita dhe e rrëzova. Kërkova ndihmë prej tyre, por ata refuzuan të më ndihmonin. Ne hëngrëm prej tij, por unë u frikësova se mos njerëzit e mi mbeteshin prapa, kështu që u nisa duke e shpejtuar kalin tim, duke kërkuar Pejgamberin (s.a.v.s.). Takova një burrë nga fisi Gifar në mes të natës dhe i thashë: 'Ku e lashë Pejgamberin (s.a.v.s.)?' Ai tha: 'Në Sukja'. I thashë: 'O i Dërguari i Allahut, shokët e tu të dërgojnë selam dhe mëshirën e Allahut, dhe ata janë frikësuar se mos mbeten prapa pa ty, prandaj pritini ata, o i Dërguari i Allahut'. Pastaj thashë: 'O i Dërguari i Allahut, unë kam gjuajtur një gomar të egër dhe kam me vete një pjesë të mbetur prej tij'. Pejgamberi (s.a.v.s.) u tha njerëzve: 'Hani', ndërkohë që ata ishin në ihram."
٦٣١ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، «أَنَّهُ انْطَلَقَ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ عَامَ الْحُدَيْبِيَةِ، فَأَحْرَمَ أَصْحَابِي وَلَمْ أُحْرِمْ، فَانْطَلَقَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ، وَكُنْتُ مَعَ أَصْحَابِي، فَجَعَلَ بَعْضُهُمْ يَضْحَكُ إِلَى بَعْضٍ، فَنَظَرْتُ، فَإِذَا حِمَارُ وَحْشٍ، فَحَمَلْتُ عَلَيْهِ، فَطَعَنْتُهُ وَأَثْبَتُّهُ، فَاسْتَعَنْتُ بِهِمْ، فَأَبَوْا أَنْ يُعِينُونِي، فَأَكَلْنَا مِنْهُ، وَخَشِيتُ أَنْ يُقْتَطَعَ قَوْمِي، فَانْطَلَقْتُ أُرَفِّعُ فَرَسِي، أَطْلُبُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ، فَلَقِيتُ رَجُلًا فِي جَوْفِ اللَّيْلِ مِنْ غِفَارٍ، فَقُلْتُ: أَيْنَ تَرَكْتَ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ؟ قَالَ: بِالسُّقْيَا، فَقُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، إِنَّ أَصْحَابَكَ يَقْرَءُونَ عَلَيْكَ السَّلَامَ وَرَحْمَةَ اللهِ، وَقَدْ خَشُوا أَنْ يُقْتَطَعُوا دُونَكَ، فَانْتَظِرْهُمْ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، فَقُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، إِنِّي أَصَبْتُ حِمَارَ وَحْشٍ، وَمَعِي مِنْهُ فَاضِلَةٌ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ لِلْقَوْمِ: كُلُوا وَهُمْ مُحْرِمُونَ».
631 - Abu Dawud narrated to us, Hisham narrated to us, from Yahya bin Abi Kathir, from Abdullah bin Abi Qatadah, from his father, "that he set out with the Messenger of Allah (saw) in the year of al-Hudaybiyyah. My companions entered the state of Ihram, but I did not. The Prophet (saw) moved on, and I remained with my companions. Some of them began to laugh at one another, so I looked and saw a wild donkey. I charged at it, stabbed it, and brought it down. I asked them for help, but they refused to help me. We then ate from it, but I feared that my people might be cut off (from the Prophet), so I set off, galloping my horse, seeking the Prophet (saw). I met a man from the tribe of Ghifar in the middle of the night and asked: 'Where did you leave the Prophet (saw)?' He said: 'At al-Suqya.' I said: 'O Messenger of Allah, your companions send their greetings of peace and the mercy of Allah upon you. They feared being cut off from you, so wait for them, O Messenger of Allah.' I then said: 'O Messenger of Allah, I caught a wild donkey, and I have some of it left with me.' The Prophet (saw) said to the people: 'Eat,' and they were in the state of Ihram."

632 - Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, na ka treguar Hemmami, na ka treguar Jahja bin Ebi Kethiri, nga Abdullah bin Ebi Katade, nga Ebu Katade, se i Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.) lexonte në dy rekatet e para të drekës Fatihanë dhe dy sure, duke na bërë të dëgjojmë ndonjë ajet, dhe e zgjaste rekatin e parë më shumë se të dytin, ndërsa në dy të fundit lexonte Fatihanë. Ai na udhëhiqte në namazin e sabahut dhe e zgjaste rekatin e parë më shumë se të dytin.
٦٣٢ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ ، «أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كَانَ يَقْرَأُ فِي الرَّكْعَتَيْنِ الْأُولَيَيْنِ مِنَ الظُّهْرِ بِفَاتِحَةِ الْكِتَابِ وَسُورَتَيْنِ، يُسْمِعُنَا الْآيَةَ، وَيُطِيلُ فِي الرَّكْعَةِ الْأُولَى مَا لَا يُطِيلُ فِي الثَّانِيَةِ، وَفِي الْأُخْرَيَيْنِ فَاتِحَةَ الْكِتَابِ، وَيَقْرَأُ بِنَا فِي صَلَاةِ الصُّبْحِ يُطِيلُ فِي الرَّكْعَةِ الْأُولَى مَا لَا يُطِيلُ فِي الثَّانِيَةِ».
632 - Abu Dawud narrated to us, Hammam narrated to us, Yahya bin Abi Kathir narrated to us, from 'Abdullah bin Abi Qatadah, from Abu Qatadah, 'that the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) used to recite in the first two rak'ahs of Dhuhr the Opening of the Book and two surahs, making us hear the verse occasionally, and he would prolong the first rak'ah more than he would prolong the second. In the last two rak'ahs, he would recite the Opening of the Book. And he would recite for us in the Subh (Fajr) prayer, prolonging the first rak'ah more than he would prolong the second.'

633 - Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, na ka treguar Malik bin Enesi, nga Amir bin Abdullah bin ez-Zubejri, nga Amr bin Sulejm ez-Zureki, nga Ebu Katade, i cili ka thënë: Pejgamberi (s.a.v.s.) ka thënë: «Kur ndonjëri prej jush të hyjë në xhami, le t'i falë dy rekate para se të ulet.»
٦٣٣ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكُ بْنُ أَنَسٍ ، عَنْ عَامِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ سُلَيْمٍ الزُّرَقِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ ، قَالَ: قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ: «إِذَا دَخَلَ أَحَدُكُمُ الْمَسْجِدَ فَلْيُصَلِّ رَكْعَتَيْنِ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَجْلِسَ».
633 - Abu Dawud narrated to us, Malik ibn Anas narrated to us, from 'Amir ibn 'Abdullah ibn al-Zubayr, from 'Amr ibn Sulaym al-Zuraqi, from Abu Qatadah, who said: The Prophet (pbuh) said: "When one of you enters the mosque, let him pray two rak'ahs before he sits down."

634 - Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, na ka treguar Shube, nga Abdurrabih bin Seid el-Ensariu, i cili ka thënë: Kam dëgjuar Ebu Seleme bin Abdurrahmanin duke thënë: «Vërtet, shihja ëndrra që më bënin të ndihesha i sëmurë, derisa ia përmenda këtë Ebu Katades, i cili tha: Edhe unë shihja ëndrra që më bënin të ndihesha i sëmurë, derisa dëgjova të Dërguarin e Allahut (s.a.v.s.) duke thënë: Ëndrra e mirë është prej Allahut. Nëse ndonjëri prej jush sheh diçka që e do, le të mos ia tregojë atë askujt përveç atij që e do. E nëse sheh diçka që e urren, kur të zgjohet le të pështyjë (lehtë) në të majtë të tij tri herë, le të kërkojë mbrojtje tek Allahu nga sherri i saj dhe nga sherri i shejtanit, dhe të mos ia tregojë askujt, sepse ajo nuk do ta dëmtojë atë».
٦٣٤ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ رَبِّهِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا سَلَمَةَ بْنَ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، يَقُولُ: «إِنْ كُنْتُ لَأَرَى الرُّؤْيَا فَتُمْرِضُنِي، فَذَكَرْتُ ذَلِكَ لِأَبِي قَتَادَةَ ، فَقَالَ: وَأَنَا إِنْ كُنْتُ لَأَرَى الرُّؤْيَا تُمْرِضُنِي، حَتَّى سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ: الرُّؤْيَا الصَّالِحَةُ مِنَ اللهِ، فَإِذَا رَأَى أَحَدُكُمْ مَا يُحِبُّ فَلَا يُحَدِّثْ بِهَا إِلَّا مَنْ يُحِبُّ، وَإِذَا رَأَى مَا يَكْرَهُ فَاسْتَيْقَظَ فَلْيَتْفُلْ عَنْ يَسَارِهِ ثَلَاثًا، وَلْيَتَعَوَّذْ بِاللهِ مِنْ شَرِّهَا، وَمِنْ شَرِّ الشَّيْطَانِ، وَلَا يُخْبِرْ بِهَا أَحَدًا، فَإِنَّهَا لَنْ تَضُرَّهُ».
634 - Abu Dawud narrated to us, Shu'bah narrated to us, from 'Abd Rabbih bin Sa'id al-Ansari, who said: I heard Abu Salamah bin 'Abd al-Rahman saying: "I used to see a dream that would make me ill, so I mentioned that to Abu Qatadah, and he said: I too used to see a dream that would make me ill, until I heard the Messenger of Allah (saw) saying: 'A good dream is from Allah, so if one of you sees what he likes, let him not tell it except to those whom he loves. And if he sees what he dislikes, when he wakes up let him spit to his left three times, and seek refuge with Allah from its evil and from the evil of Satan, and let him not tell anyone about it, for then it will not harm him.'"

635 - Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, na ka treguar Hishami, nga Katade, nga Gajlani, nga Abdullah bin Mab'ad ez-Zimani, nga Ebu Katade, i cili ka thënë:
Pejgamberi (s.a.v.s.) ka thënë për agjërimin e ditës së Ashures: «Unë shpresoj te Allahu i Madhëruar që ai t'i shlyejë (mëkatet e) vitit.»
Dhe ka thënë për agjërimin e ditës së Arafatit: «Unë shpresoj te Allahu që ai t'i shlyejë (mëkatet e) vitit para tij dhe vitit pas tij.»
٦٣٥ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، عَنْ غَيْلَانَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مَعْبَدٍ الزِّمَّانِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فِي صَوْمِ عَاشُورَاءَ: «إِنِّي لَأَحْتَسِبُ عَلَى اللهِ ﷿، أَنْ يُكَفِّرَ السَّنَةَ وَقَالَ فِي صَوْمِ يَوْمِ عَرَفَةَ: إِنِّي لَأَحْتَسِبُ عَلَى اللهِ أَنْ يُكَفِّرَ السَّنَةَ الَّتِي قَبْلَهُ، وَالسَّنَةَ الَّتِي بَعْدَهُ».
635 - Abu Dawud narrated to us, Hisham narrated to us, from Qatadah, from Ghaylan, from 'Abdullah bin Ma'bad az-Zimmani, from Abu Qatadah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (pbuh) said regarding the fast of 'Ashura: "I seek from Allah that it may expiate for the year."

And he said regarding the fast of the day of 'Arafah: "I seek from Allah that it may expiate for the year before it and the year after it."

- Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, na ka treguar Hammad bin Zejdi, Hishami dhe Mehdiju. Hammadi dhe Mehdiju kanë thënë: nga Gajlan bin Xheriri, ndërsa Hishami: nga Katade, nga Gajlani, nga Abdullah bin Mab'ad ez-Zimmani, nga Ebu Katade, «se një beduin e pyeti të Dërguarin e Allahut (s.a.v.s.) për agjërimin e tij, dhe ai u zemërua aq sa kjo u vërejt në fytyrën e tij. Atëherë u ngrit Omer bin el-Hatabi (r.a.) dhe tha: Jemi të kënaqur me Allahun si Zot, me Islamin si fe dhe me ty si Pejgamber. Kërkoj mbrojtje tek Allahu nga zemërimi i Allahut dhe zemërimi i të Dërguarit të Tij. Omeri vazhdoi ta përsëriste këtë derisa ai u qetësua, e pastaj tha: O i Dërguari i Allahut, çfarë thua për njeriun që agjëron tërë kohën (çdo ditë)? I Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.) tha: Ai as nuk ka agjëruar, as nuk ka ngrënë (nuk ka bërë iftar), ose tha: Nuk ka agjëruar dhe nuk ka ngrënë. Ai tha: O i Dërguari i Allahut, po për atë që agjëron dy ditë dhe nuk agjëron një ditë? Ai tha: Kush mund ta përballojë këtë? Ai tha: O i Dërguari i Allahut, po për atë që nuk agjëron dy ditë dhe agjëron një ditë? Ai tha: Do të dëshiroja të kisha fuqi për këtë. Ai tha: O i Dërguari i Allahut, çfarë thua për agjërimin e ditës së hënë? Ai tha: Ajo është dita në të cilën kam lindur dhe në të cilën më ka zbritur (shpallja). Ata thanë: O i Dërguari i Allahut, çfarë thua për njeriun që agjëron një ditë po e një ditë jo? Ai tha: Ky është agjërimi i vëllait tim Davudit. Ata thanë: O i Dërguari i Allahut, çfarë thua për agjërimin e ditës së Ashures? Ai tha: Unë shpresoj te Allahu që ai të shlyejë (mëkatet e) vitit. Ai tha: O i Dërguari i Allahut, çfarë thua për agjërimin e ditës së Arafatit? Ai tha: Unë shpresoj te Allahu i Madhëruar që ai të shlyejë vitin para tij dhe vitin pas tij».
٦٣٦ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ ، وَهِشَامٌ ، وَمَهْدِيٌّ ، قَالَ حَمَّادٌ وَمَهْدِيٌّ: عَنْ غَيْلَانَ بْنِ جَرِيرٍ ، وَهِشَامٍ: عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، عَنْ غَيْلَانَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مَعْبَدٍ الزِّمَّانِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ ، «أَنَّ أَعْرَابِيًّا سَأَلَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ عَنْ صَوْمِهِ، فَغَضِبَ حَتَّى عُرِفَ ذَلِكَ فِي وَجْهِهِ، فَقَامَ عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ ﵁ فَقَالَ: رَضِينَا بِاللهِ رَبًّا، وَبِالْإِسْلَامِ دِينًا، وَبِكَ نَبِيًّا، أَعُوذُ بِاللهِ مِنْ غَضَبِ اللهِ وَغَضَبِ رَسُولِهِ، فَلَمْ يَزَلْ عُمَرُ يُرَدِّدُ ذَلِكَ حَتَّى سَكَنَ، فَقَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، مَا تَقُولُ فِي رَجُلٍ يَصُومُ الدَّهْرَ كُلَّهُ؟ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: لَا صَامَ وَلَا أَفْطَرَ، أَوْ قَالَ: مَا صَامَ وَمَا أَفْطَرَ فَقَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، كَيْفَ بِمَنْ يَصُومُ يَوْمَيْنِ وَيُفْطِرُ يَوْمًا؟ فَقَالَ: وَمَنْ يُطِيقُ ذَلِكَ؟ فَقَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، فَكَيْفَ بِمَنْ يُفْطِرُ يَوْمَيْنِ وَيَصُومُ يَوْمًا؟ فَقَالَ: لَوَدِدْتُ أَنِّي طُوِّقْتُ ذَلِكَ، فَقَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، فَمَا تَقُولُ فِي صَوْمِ يَوْمِ الِاثْنَيْنِ؟ قَالَ: ذَاكَ يَوْمٌ وُلِدْتُ فِيهِ، وَأُنْزِلَ عَلَيَّ فِيهِ، قَالُوا: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، فَمَا تَقُولُ فِي رَجُلٍ يَصُومُ يَوْمًا وَيُفْطِرُ يَوْمًا؟ فَقَالَ: ذَاكَ صَوْمُ أَخِي دَاوُدَ، قَالُوا: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، فَمَا تَقُولُ فِي صَوْمِ يَوْمِ عَاشُورَاءَ؟ قَالَ: إِنِّي لَأَحْتَسِبُ عَلَى اللهِ أَنْ يُكَفِّرَ السَّنَةَ، قَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، فَمَا تَقُولُ فِي صَوْمِ يَوْمِ عَرَفَةَ؟ قَالَ: إِنِّي لَأَحْتَسِبُ عَلَى اللهِ ﷿ أَنْ يُكَفِّرَ السَّنَةَ الَّتِي قَبْلَهَا وَالسَّنَةَ الَّتِي بَعْدَهَا».
636 - Abu Dawud narrated to us, Hammad bin Zayd, Hisham, and Mahdi narrated to us; Hammad and Mahdi said: from Ghaylan bin Jarir, and Hisham: from Qatadah, from Ghaylan, from Abdullah bin Ma'bad al-Zimmani, from Abu Qatadah, that a Bedouin asked the Messenger of Allah (saw) about his fasting, and he became angry until it was visible on his face. So Umar bin al-Khattab (ra) stood up and said: "We are pleased with Allah as our Lord, with Islam as our religion, and with you as our Prophet. I seek refuge in Allah from the anger of Allah and the anger of His Messenger." Umar continued repeating that until he calmed down. Then he said: "O Messenger of Allah, what do you say about a man who fasts for a whole lifetime?" The Messenger of Allah (saw) said: "He has neither fasted nor broken his fast," or he said: "He did not fast and he did not break his fast." He said: "O Messenger of Allah, what about one who fasts for two days and breaks his fast for one day?" He said: "And who is capable of that?" He said: "O Messenger of Allah, what about one who breaks his fast for two days and fasts for one day?" He said: "I wish that I were given the strength for that." He said: "O Messenger of Allah, what do you say about fasting on Mondays?" He said: "That is the day on which I was born, and on which [revelation] was sent down to me." They said: "O Messenger of Allah, what do you say about a man who fasts one day and breaks his fast one day?" He said: "That is the fasting of my brother David." They said: "O Messenger of Allah, what do you say about fasting on the day of Ashura?" He said: "I seek from Allah that it should atone for the [sins of the] year." He said: "O Messenger of Allah, what do you say about fasting on the day of Arafah?" He said: "I seek from Allah (azwj) that it should atone for the year before it and the year after it."

637 - Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, i cili ka thënë: Na ka treguar Vuhejbi, nga Davud bin Ebi Hind, nga Ebu Nadra, nga Ebu Seid el-Hudriu, se: «Kur i Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.) po gërmonte hendekun, njerëzit bartnin nga një tullë, ndërsa Ammari ishte duke u shëruar nga një dhimbje që kishte, e ai filloi të bartte nga dy tulla. Ebu Seidi tha: Shokët e mi më treguan se i Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.) ia fshinte pluhurin nga koka e tij dhe thoshte: Mjerë për ty, o biri i Sumejjes, do të të vrasë grupi kryengritës».
Ky hadith është transmetuar edhe nga Ebu Nadra, nga Ebu Seidi, nga Ebu Katade.
٦٣٧ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا وُهَيْبٌ ، عَنْ دَاوُدَ بْنِ أَبِي هِنْدٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي نَضْرَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ ، «أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ لَمَّا حَفَرَ الْخَنْدَقَ، وَكَانَ النَّاسُ يَحْمِلُونَ لَبِنَةً لَبِنَةً، وَعَمَّارٌ نَاقِهٌ مِنْ وَجَعٍ كَانَ بِهِ، فَجَعَلَ يَحْمِلُ لَبِنَتَيْنِ لَبِنَتَيْنِ، قَالَ أَبُو سَعِيدٍ: فَحَدَّثَنِي أَصْحَابِي أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كَانَ يَنْفُضُ التُّرَابَ عَنْ رَأْسِهِ وَيَقُولُ: وَيْحَكَ يَا ابْنَ سُمَيَّةَ، تَقْتُلُكَ الْفِئَةُ الْبَاغِيَةُ».
وَرُوِيَ هَذَا الْحَدِيثُ عَنْ أَبِي نَضْرَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ.
637 - Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Wuhaib narrated to us, from Dawud bin Abi Hind, from Abu Nadrah, from Abu Sa'id al-Khudri, 'that when the Messenger of Allah (saw) dug the trench, and the people were carrying one brick at a time, and 'Ammar was recovering from an illness he had, he started carrying two bricks at a time. Abu Sa'id said: My companions narrated to me that the Messenger of Allah (saw) was wiping the dust from his head and saying: "Woe to you, O son of Sumayyah, the rebellious group will kill you."'
And this hadith was narrated from Abu Nadrah, from Abu Sa'id, from Abu Qatadah.

638 - Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, i cili ka thënë: Na ka treguar Abdullah bin el-Mubareku, nga Abdullah bin Ukbe el-Hadremiu, nga Ulej bin Rebahu, nga Ebu Katade el-Ensariu, i cili ka thënë:

Pejgamberi (s.a.v.s.) ka thënë: «Kuajt më të mirë janë ata me njollë të bardhë në ballë, me njollë të bardhë në buzën e sipërme, të zinj, me këmbë të bardha, përveç këmbës së djathtë të parë. E nëse nuk është i zi, atëherë le të jetë i kuqërremtë me këto cilësi».
٦٣٨ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُقْبَةَ الْحَضْرَمِيِّ ، عَنْ عُلَيِّ بْنِ رَبَاحٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: «خَيْرُ الْخَيْلِ الْأَقْرَحُ، الْأَرْثَمُ، الْأَدْهَمُ، الْمُحَجَّلُ، طَلْقُ الْيَمِينِ، فَإِنْ لَمْ يَكُنْ أَدْهَمَ، فَكُمَيْتٌ عَلَى هَذِهِ الشِّيَةِ».
638 - Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Abdullah bin al-Mubarak narrated to us, from Abdullah bin 'Uqbah al-Hadrami, from 'Ulayy bin Rabah, from Abu Qatadah al-Ansari, who said:

The Messenger of Allah (pbuh) said: "The best of horses is the one with a white spot on its forehead, a white upper lip, black, with white markings on its legs except for the right foreleg. If it is not black, then a bay with these same markings."

639 - Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, i cili ka thënë: Na ka treguar Muhamed bin Dirhem el-Ezdi, i cili ka thënë: Më ka treguar Ka'b bin Abdurrahman el-Ezdi, nga Ibn Ebi Katade el-Ensari, e ky nga babai i tij, i cili ka thënë: «Na erdhi i Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.) ndërsa ne po ndërtonim xhaminë, e ai tha: 'Zgjerojeni atë, do ta mbushni'.»
٦٣٩ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ دِرْهَمٍ الْأَزْدِيُّ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي كَعْبُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْأَزْدِيُّ ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، قَالَ: «أَتَانَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَنَحْنُ نَبْنِي الْمَسْجِدَ، فَقَالَ: أَوْسِعُوهُ تَمْلَئُوهُ».
639 - Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Muhammad ibn Dirham al-Azdi narrated to us, he said: Ka'b ibn 'Abd al-Rahman al-Azdi narrated to me, from Ibn Abi Qatadah al-Ansari, from his father, who said: "The Messenger of Allah (pbuh) came to us while we were building the mosque, and he said: 'Make it spacious, and you will fill it.'"

640 - Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, ka thënë: Na ka treguar Fulejh bin Sulejmani, ka thënë: Na ka treguar Amir bin Abdullah bin ez-Zubejri, nga Amër bin Sulejm ez-Zurekiu, nga Ebu Katadeja, i cili ka thënë: «I Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.) u printe njerëzve në namaz - domethënë falte njerëzit - duke mbajtur Umamen, bijën e Ebu el-Asit; e mbante atë mbi qafën e tij, kur binte në ruku e ule atë, e kur ngrihej e ngrinte atë.»
٦٤٠ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا فُلَيْحُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عَامِرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ سُلَيْمٍ الزُّرَقِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ ، قَالَ: «كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يُصَلِّي لِلنَّاسِ - يَعْنِي بِالنَّاسِ - وَقَدْ حَمَلَ أُمَامَةَ بِنْتَ أَبِي الْعَاصِ، حَامِلُهَا عَلَى عُنُقِهِ، إِذَا رَكَعَ وَضَعَهَا، وَإِذَا رَفَعَ رَفَعَهَا».
640 - Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Fulayh bin Sulayman narrated to us, he said: 'Amir bin 'Abdullah bin al-Zubayr narrated to us, from 'Amr bin Sulaym al-Zuraqi, from Abu Qatadah, who said: "The Messenger of Allah (pbuh) used to lead the people in prayer - meaning with the people - while carrying Umamah bint Abi al-'As; he carried her on his neck. When he bowed, he put her down, and when he stood up, he lifted her up."
