Pastaj e ngriti kokën e tij (s.a.v.s.) me përulësi dhe tha: «Semi’Allahu limen hamideh».

268 - Ibrahim ibn Sa'id al-Jawhari narrated to us, saying Muhammad ibn Hujr narrated to us, saying Sa'id ibn 'Abd al-Jabbar ibn Wa'il ibn Hujr narrated to us, from his father, from his mother, from Wa'il ibn Hujr, who mentioned a hadith regarding this, then said: And by his chain of narrators he said: I witnessed the Prophet (pbuh) when a vessel containing water was brought to him. He poured it over his right hand three times, then he dipped his right hand into the water and washed his left hand with it three times. Then he put his right hand into the water and scooped a handful of water, then rinsed his mouth and inhaled water into his nose three times, and blew it out three times. Then he put both his palms into the vessel and raised them to his face, washing his face three times, and he washed the inner part of his ears, inserting his two fingers inside, and wiped the back of his neck and the inner part of his beard three times. Then he put his right hand into the vessel and washed his right forearm with it until he went past the elbow three times. Then he washed his left forearm with his right hand until he went past the elbow three times. Then he wiped over his head three times, and the outer part of his ears three times, and the back of his neck—and I think he said: and the outer part of his beard—three times. Then he washed his right foot with his right hand three times and separated between his toes—or he said: ran his fingers between his toes—and raised the water until it passed the ankle, then he raised it to the shin. Then he did the same with the left foot. Then he took a handful of water, filled his hand with it, then poured it over his head until the water flowed down from its sides, and he said: "This is the completion of the ablution." And I did not see him dry himself with a cloth. Then he rose toward the mosque and entered the mihrab—meaning: the place of the mihrab—and arranged the people in rows behind him, to his right and to his left. Then he raised his hands until they were level with his earlobes. Then he placed his right hand over his left hand and near his chest. Then he began the recitation, reciting "al-Hamd" [Surah al-Fatiha] aloud. When he finished the Surah of al-Hamd, he said: "Amin," until those behind him could hear. Then he recited another Surah. Then he raised his hands with the Takbir until they were level with his earlobes. Then he bowed, placing his hands upon his knees and spreading his fingers, and he paused in the bowing until he was straight, and his back became such that if a cup of water were placed upon it, it would not spill. Then he raised his head (pbuh) with humility and said: "Allah hears the one who praises Him." Then he raised his hands until they were level with his earlobes. Then he descended for prostration with the Takbir, and he raised his hands until they were level with his earlobes. Then he firmly placed his forehead on the ground such that I could see his nose in the sand, and he arched his forearms and his head. He spread his left thigh and kept the right one upright, just as he kept his toes firm. He did not linger in the prostration. Then he raised his head, raising his hands with the Takbir until they were level with his earlobes. He sat a brief sitting, placing his right palm upon his knee and part of his thigh, and made a circle with his finger. Then he descended into prostration in like manner. Then he raised his head with the Takbir with his hands until they were level with his earlobes, and until he was straight in his standing and every bone had returned to its place. Then he prayed four rak'ahs, doing in them what he had done in this one. Then he sat for the sitting of the Tashahhud in like manner. Then he gave the salutation to his right until the whiteness of his left cheek could be seen, and he gave the salutation to his left until the whiteness of his right cheek could be seen. I [the author] say: I have not seen it in its entirety [in other collections], but Muslim has a portion of it regarding prayer, as do Abu Dawud and others, and Ibn Majah has a small portion regarding purification.
