191 - Na ka treguar Junusi, i cili ka thënë: Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, i cili ka thënë: Na ka treguar Selami, nga Ata bin es-Saibi, nga Ebu Abdurrahman es-Sulemiu, nga Sa'di (r.a.), i cili ka thënë:

«Më erdhi i Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.) kur isha i sëmurë dhe më tha: 'A ke lënë testament?' Thashë: 'Po, e kam lënë testament të gjithë pasurinë time.' Ai tha: 'Po çfarë u ke lënë fëmijëve të tu?' Thashë: 'Ata janë të pasur dhe mirë.' Ai tha: 'Lëre testament një të dhjetën.' Vazhdoi të më pakësonte e unë t'i pakësoja derisa tha: 'Lëre testament një të tretën, e edhe një e treta është shumë'.»
١٩١ - حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا سَلَّامٌ ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ ، عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ السُّلَمِيِّ ، عَنْ سَعْدٍ ﵁، قَالَ: «دَخَلَ عَلَيَّ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَأَنَا مَرِيضٌ، فَقَالَ لِي: هَلْ أَوْصَيْتَ؟ قُلْتُ: نَعَمْ، أَوْصَيْتُ بِمَالِي كُلِّهِ، قَالَ: فَمَا تَرَكْتَ لِوَلَدِكَ؟ قُلْتُ: هُمْ أَغْنِيَاءُ بِخَيْرٍ، قَالَ: أَوْصِ بِالْعُشْرِ، فَمَا زَالَ يُنَاقِصُنِي وَأُنَاقِصُهُ حَتَّى قَالَ: أَوْصِ بِالثُّلُثِ، وَالثُّلُثُ كَثِيرٌ».
191 - Yunus narrated to us, he said: Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Sallam narrated to us, from 'Ata' bin al-Sa'ib, from Abu 'Abd al-Rahman al-Sulami, from Sa'd (may Allah be pleased with him), who said: "The Messenger of Allah (pbuh) entered upon me while I was ill, and he said to me: 'Have you made a will?' I said: 'Yes, I have willed all of my wealth.' He said: 'Then what have you left for your children?' I said: 'They are wealthy and in good state.' He said: 'Bequeath a tenth.' He continued to decrease it for me and I continued to decrease it for him until he said: 'Bequeath a third, and a third is plenty.'"

192 - Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, i cili ka thënë: Na ka treguar Ibrahim b. Sa'di dhe Abdula'ziz b. Ebi Seleme, e të tjerë, të gjithë nga Ez-Zuhriu, nga Amir b. Sa'di, nga babai i tij, i cili ka thënë:
«U sëmura nga një sëmundje prej së cilës isha buzë vdekjes, dhe më erdhi i Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.). I thashë: O i Dërguari i Allahut, unë kam shumë pasuri dhe nuk më trashëgon askush tjetër përveç një vajze, a ta jap lëshoj si sadaka tërë pasurinë time? Ai tha: Jo. Thashë: A ta jap si sadaka gjysmën, ose tha: A të lë testament për gjysmën? Ai tha: Jo. Thashë: O i Dërguari i Allahut, për sa të lë testament? Ai tha: Për një të tretën, e edhe një e treta është shumë. Vërtet, t'i lësh trashëgimtarët e tu të pasur është më mirë sesa t'i lësh ata të varfër, duke u shtrirë dorën njerëzve».
١٩٢ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ ، وَعَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ ، وَغَيْرُهُمَا ، كُلُّهُمْ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ عَامِرِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، قَالَ: «مَرِضْتُ مَرَضًا أَشْفَيْتُ مِنْهُ، فَدَخَلَ عَلَيَّ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَقُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إِنَّ لِي مَالًا كَثِيرًا، وَتَرِثُنِي ابْنَةٌ لِي وَاحِدَةٌ، أَفَأَتَصَدَّقُ بِمَالِي كُلِّهِ؟ فَقَالَ: لَا قُلْتُ: أَتَصَدَّقُ بِالشَّطْرِ، أَوْ قَالَ: فَأُوصِي بِالشَّطْرِ؟ فَقَالَ: لَا، قُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ: فَبِمَ أُوصِي؟ قَالَ: الثُّلُثُ وَالثُّلُثُ كَثِيرٌ، إِنَّكَ لَأَنْ تَدَعَ وَرَثَتَكَ أَغْنِيَاءَ خَيْرٌ مِنْ أَنْ تَدَعَهُمْ عَالَةً يَتَكَفَّفُونَ أَيْدِيَ النَّاسِ».
192 - Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Ibrahim ibn Sa'd, and 'Abd al-'Aziz ibn Abi Salamah, and others, all narrated to us from al-Zuhri, from 'Amir ibn Sa'd, from his father, who said:

"I fell ill with a sickness that brought me to the brink of death, so the Messenger of Allah (saw) entered upon me. I said: 'O Messenger of Allah, indeed I have much wealth, and only one daughter of mine will inherit from me. Should I give all my wealth in charity?' He said: 'No.' I said: 'Should I give half in charity?' or he said: 'Should I bequeath half?' He said: 'No.' I said: 'O Messenger of Allah, then how much should I bequeath?' He said: 'A third, and a third is plenty. Indeed, for you to leave your heirs wealthy is better than leaving them poor, begging from people with their hands.'"

193 - Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, i cili ka thënë: Na ka treguar Ibrahim b. Sa'di dhe Abdulaziz b. Ebi Seleme e të tjerë, të gjithë nga ez-Zuhriu, nga Amir b. Sa'di, nga babai i tij, i cili ka thënë:

Pejgamberi (s.a.v.s.) ka thënë: «Vërtet, ti nuk do të shpenzosh asgjë e që të mos shpërblehesh për të, madje edhe për kafshatën që e ngre në gojën e familjes sate.»
١٩٣ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ ، وَعَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ وَغَيْرُهُمَا ، كُلُّهُمْ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ عَامِرِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، قَالَ: قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ: «إِنَّكَ لَنْ تُنْفِقَ نَفَقَةً إِلَّا أُجِرْتَ عَلَيْهَا، حَتَّى اللُّقْمَةَ تَرْفَعُهَا إِلَى فِي أَهْلِكَ».
193 - Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Ibrahim bin Sa'd, and 'Abd al-'Aziz bin Abi Salamah and others narrated to us, all of them from al-Zuhri, from 'Amir bin Sa'd, from his father, who said: The Prophet (pbuh) said: "You will not spend any expenditure except that you will be rewarded for it, even the morsel of food which you lift to the mouth of your wife."

194 - Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, i cili ka thënë: Na ka treguar Ibrahim b. Sa'd dhe Abdulaziz b. Ebi Seleme e të tjerë, të gjithë nga Ez-Zuhriu, nga Amir b. Sa'di, nga babai i tij, i cili ka thënë: "U sëmura rëndë saqë isha buzë vdekjes. Pejgamberi (s.a.v.s.) erdhi të më vizitonte dhe unë i thashë: 'O i Dërguari i Allahut, a do të mbetem pas hixhretit tim?' Ai tha: 'Ti nuk do të mbetesh pas meje e të bësh ndonjë vepër me të cilën kërkon (49) fytyrën (kënaqësinë) e Allahut, veçse do të të shtohet me të lartësimi dhe grada.' Dhe mbase ti do të mbetesh derisa disa njerëz të përfitojnë prej teje dhe të tjerë të dëmtohen prej teje. O Allah, plotësoju shokëve të mi hixhretin e tyre dhe mos i kthe ata prapa në gjurmët e tyre. Por i mjeri Sa'd b. Havleh! Pejgamberi (s.a.v.s.) ndiente keqardhje për të që vdiq në Mekë."

(49) Në botimin e Dar al-Ma'rifah ka një shtesë (me të).
١٩٤ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ ، وَعَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ وَغَيْرُهُمَا ، كُلُّهُمْ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ عَامِرِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، قَالَ «: مَرِضْتُ مَرَضًا شَدِيدًا أَشْفَيْتُ مِنْهُ، فَدَخَلَ عَلَيَّ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَقُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، أُخَلَّفُ دُونَ هِجْرَتِي؟ فَقَالَ: إِنَّكَ لَنْ تُخَلَّفَ بَعْدِي فَتَعْمَلَ عَمَلًا تَبْتَغِي (49) وَجْهَ اللهِ إِلَّا ازْدَدْتَ بِهِ رِفْعَةً وَدَرَجَةً»، وَلَعَلَّكَ أَنْ تُخَلَّفَ حَتَّى يَنْتَفِعَ بِكَ قَوْمٌ وَيُضَرَّ بِكَ قَوْمٌ آخَرُونَ، اللَّهُمَّ أَمْضِ لِأَصْحَابِي هِجْرَتَهُمْ، وَلَا تَرُدَّهُمْ عَلَى أَعْقَابِهِمْ، لَكِنِ الْبَائِسُ سَعْدُ بْنُ خَوْلَةَ، كَانَ يَرْثِي لَهُ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أَنْ مَاتَ بِمَكَّةَ.

194 - Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Ibrahim ibn Sa'd, and 'Abd al-'Aziz ibn Abi Salamah and others narrated to us, all of them from al-Zuhri, from 'Amir ibn Sa'd, from his father, who said: "I became so severely ill that I was on the brink of death. The Messenger of Allah (saw) entered upon me and I said: 'O Messenger of Allah, will I be left behind from my migration?' He said: 'Indeed, you will not be left behind after me and perform a deed seeking (49) the face of Allah except that you will increase thereby in status and degree. And perhaps you will be left behind until some people benefit from you and others are harmed by you. O Allah, complete for my companions their migration, and do not turn them back on their heels.' But the unfortunate one was Sa'd ibn Khawlah; the Messenger of Allah (saw) used to express pity for him because he died in Mecca."



(49) In the Dar al-Ma'rifah edition, there is the addition of (thereby).

195 - Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, i cili ka thënë: Na ka treguar Ibn Ebi Dhibi, nga ez-Zuhriu, nga Amir bin Sa'di, nga babai i tij, se: «I Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.) u dha disa njerëzve dhe e la pa i dhënë një burri. Atëherë Sa'di tha: O i Dërguari i Allahut, pasha Allahun, ai është besimtar (mu'min). I Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.) tha: Apo musliman? Pastaj Sa'di tha: Pasha Allahun, unë e shoh atë si besimtar. I Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.) tha: Apo musliman? Pastaj i Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.) tha: Unë i jap një njeriu dhe e lë atë që është më i mirë se ai, nga frika se mos Allahu i Madhëruar e hedh atë me fytyrë në Zjarr».
١٩٥ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ عَامِرِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، «أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ أَعْطَى قَوْمًا وَمَنَعَ رَجُلًا، فَقَالَ سَعْدٌ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، وَاللهِ إِنَّهُ لَمُؤْمِنٌ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: أَوْ مُسْلِمٌ، ثُمَّ قَالَ سَعْدٌ: وَاللهِ إِنِّي أَرَاهُ مُؤْمِنًا، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: أَوْ مُسْلِمٌ، ثُمَّ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: إِنِّي لَأُعْطِي الرَّجُلَ وَأَدَعُ مَنْ هُوَ خَيْرٌ مِنْهُ مَخَافَةَ أَنْ يَكُبَّهُ اللهُ ﷿ عَلَى وَجْهِهِ فِي النَّارِ».
195 - Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Ibn Abi Dhi'b narrated to us, from al-Zuhri, from 'Amir bin Sa'd, from his father, that the Messenger of Allah (saw) gave to some people and withheld from a man, so Sa'd said: "O Messenger of Allah, by Allah, he is indeed a believer," so the Messenger of Allah (saw) said: "Or a Muslim." Then Sa'd said: "By Allah, I see him as a believer," so the Messenger of Allah (saw) said: "Or a Muslim." Then the Messenger of Allah (saw) said: "Indeed, I give to a man and leave out one who is better than him, for fear that Allah (azwj) might throw him on his face into the Fire."

196 - Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, ka thënë: Na ka treguar Thabit Ebu Zejdi dhe Selam bin Sulejmi, nga Asimi, nga Ebu Uthman en-Nehdiu, nga Sa'd bin Ebu Vekkasi (r.a.), ka thënë: E kanë dëgjuar veshët e mi dhe e ka nxënë zemra ime nga i Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.), i cili ka thënë: «Kush pretendon se i takon dikujt tjetër përveç babait të tij, duke e ditur se ai nuk është babai i tij, Xheneti për të është i ndaluar (haram).»
١٩٦ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا ثَابِتُ أَبُو زَيْدٍ ، وَسَلَّامُ بْنُ سُلَيْمٍ ، عَنْ عَاصِمٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي عُثْمَانَ النَّهْدِيِّ ، عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ أَبِي وَقَّاصٍ ، ﵁، قَالَ: سَمِعَتْهُ أُذُنَايَ وَوَعَاهُ قَلْبِي مِنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ: «مَنِ ادَّعَى إِلَى غَيْرِ أَبِيهِ وَهُوَ يَعْلَمُ أَنَّهُ غَيْرُ أَبِيهِ فَالْجَنَّةُ عَلَيْهِ حَرَامٌ».

Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Thabit Abu Zayd and Sallam bin Sulaym narrated to us, from 'Asim, from Abu 'Uthman al-Nahdi, from Sa'd bin Abi Waqqas (may Allah be pleased with him), who said: My two ears heard it and my heart understood it from the Messenger of Allah (saw), he said: "Whoever claims to belong to someone other than his father while he knows that he is not his father, then Paradise is forbidden for him."

197 - Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, i cili ka thënë: Na ka treguar Shube, i cili ka thënë: Më ka njoftuar Zijad bin Mihraku, i cili ka thënë: Kam dëgjuar Ebu Abajen - ose Kajs bin Abajen, dyshim ky i Ebu Davudit - se Sa'di (r.a.) dëgjoi një djalë të tij duke thënë: "O Allah, unë të kërkoj Xhenetin, dhomat e tij kështu e kështu, dhe kërkoj mbrojtje te Ti nga Zjarri, prangat dhe zinxhirët e tij." Atëherë Sa'di i tha: "Ti i kërkove Allahut shumë të mira dhe kërkove mbrojtje prej Tij nga shumë të këqija - ose tha: të mëdha - por unë e kam dëgjuar të Dërguarin e Allahut (s.a.v.s.) duke thënë: 'Do të ketë njerëz që do ta teprojnë në dua (lutje), ndërsa ty të mjafton të thuash: O Allah, unë të kërkoj Ty çdo të mirë, atë që e di dhe atë që nuk e di, dhe kërkoj mbrojtje te Ti nga çdo e keqe, atë që e di dhe atë që nuk e di'".
١٩٧ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي زِيَادُ بْنُ مِخْرَاقٍ ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عَبَايَةَ - أَوْ قَيْسَ بْنَ عَبَايَةَ ، شَكَّ أَبُو دَاوُدَ - «أَنَّ سَعْدًا ﵁، سَمِعَ ابْنًا لَهُ يَقُولُ: اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الْجَنَّةَ، غُرَفَهَا كَذَا وَكَذَا، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ النَّارِ وَأَغْلَالِهَا وَسَلَاسِلِهَا، فَقَالَ لَهُ سَعْدٌ: لَقَدْ سَأَلْتَ اللهَ خَيْرًا كَثِيرًا، وَتَعَوَّذْتَ بِهِ مِنْ شَرٍّ كَثِيرٍ - أَوْ قَالَ: عَظِيمٍ - وَإِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ: سَيَكُونُ قَوْمٌ يَعْتَدُونَ فِي الدُّعَاءِ، وَبِحَسْبِكَ أَنْ تَقُولَ: اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ مِنَ الْخَيْرِ كُلِّهِ مَا عَلِمْتُ مِنْهُ وَمَا لَمْ أَعْلَمْ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الشَّرِّ كُلِّهِ مَا عَلِمْتُ مِنْهُ وَمَا لَمْ أَعْلَمْ».
197 - Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Shu'bah narrated to us, he said: Ziyad ibn Mikhraq informed me, he said: I heard Abu 'Abayah - or Qays ibn 'Abayah, Abu Dawud was uncertain - that Sa'd (ra) heard a son of his saying: 'O Allah, I ask You for Paradise, its rooms such and such, and I seek refuge in You from the Fire, its shackles and its chains.'

Sa'd said to him: 'You have asked Allah for much good, and sought refuge in Him from much evil - or he said: great evil - and I heard the Messenger of Allah (saw) saying: "There will be a people who transgress in supplication, and it is sufficient for you to say: O Allah, I ask You for all good, that which I know of it and that which I do not know, and I seek refuge in You from all evil, that which I know of it and that which I do not know."'

198 - Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, i cili ka thënë: Na ka treguar Seid bin (50) Hassan el-Mekki, nga Ibn Ebi Mulejke, nga Ubejdullah bin Ebi Nehiki, nga Sa'di (r.a.), se Pejgamberi (s.a.v.s.) ka thënë:
«Nuk është prej nesh ai që nuk e lexon Kuranin me zë të bukur (melodik).»

(50) Në botimin e Dar el-Ma'rife ka një shtesë (Ebi).
١٩٨ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ (50) حَسَّانَ الْمَكِّيُّ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي نَهِيكٍ ، عَنْ سَعْدٍ ﵁، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ: «لَيْسَ مِنَّا مَنْ لَمْ يَتَغَنَّ بِالْقُرْآنِ».

198 - Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Sa'id bin (50) Hassan al-Makki narrated to us, from Ibn Abi Mulaykah, from 'Ubayd Allah bin Abi Nahik, from Sa'd (ra), that the Messenger of Allah (saw) said:
"He is not of us who does not chant the Qur'an."

- Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, i cili ka thënë: Na ka treguar Shube, nga Katade, i cili ka thënë: Kam dëgjuar Junus bin Xhubejrin duke treguar nga Muhamed bin Sa'di, nga Sa'di (r.a.), se Pejgamberi (s.a.v.s.) ka thënë: «Më mirë është që brendësia e birit të Ademit të mbushet me qelb sesa të mbushet me poezi.»
١٩٩ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ يُونُسَ بْنَ جُبَيْرٍ ، يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ ، عَنْ سَعْدٍ ﵁، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ: «لَأَنْ يَمْتَلِئَ جَوْفُ ابْنِ آدَمَ قَيْحًا خَيْرٌ لَهُ مِنْ أَنْ يَمْتَلِئَ شِعْرًا».
199 - Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Shu'bah narrated to us, from Qatadah, he said: I heard Yunus bin Jubayr narrating from Muhammad bin Sa'd, from Sa'd (may Allah be pleased with him), that the Prophet (saw) said: "It is better for the belly of a son of Adam to be filled with pus than to be filled with poetry."

200 - Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, i cili ka thënë: Na ka treguar Shube, nga Katade, i cili ka thënë: Kam dëgjuar Ikrime bin Halid el-Mahzumijun duke treguar nga Ibn Sadi, nga Sadi, se Pejgamberi (s.a.v.s.) ka thënë për murtajën: "Nëse ajo është në një tokë ku ndodheni ju, mos dilni prej saj; e nëse ajo është në një tokë ku nuk ndodheni ju, mos hyni në të".

Ebu Davudi ka thënë: Kush thotë ndryshe nga kjo, ka gabuar.
٢٠٠ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ عِكْرِمَةَ بْنَ خَالِدٍ الْمَخْزُومِيَّ ، يُحَدِّثُ عَنِ ابْنِ سَعْدٍ ، عَنْ سَعْدٍ ، «أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ فِي الطَّاعُونِ: إِذَا كَانَ بِأَرْضٍ وَأَنْتُمْ بِهَا فَلَا تَخْرُجُوا مِنْهَا، وَإِذَا كَانَ بِأَرْضٍ وَلَسْتُمْ بِهَا فَلَا تَدْخُلُوهَا»، قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُدَ : مَنْ قَالَ غَيْرَ هَذَا فَقَدْ غَلِطَ.
200 - Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Shu'bah narrated to us, from Qatadah, he said: I heard 'Ikrimah bin Khalid al-Makhzumi narrating from Ibn Sa'd, from Sa'd, that the Prophet (pbuh) said regarding the plague: "If it is in a land and you are in it, do not leave it; and if it is in a land and you are not in it, do not enter it."

Abu Dawud said: "Whoever says other than this has erred."

201 - Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, ka thënë: Na ka treguar Selim bin Hajjan, ka thënë: Na ka treguar Ikrime bin Halid, nga Jahja bin Sa'd, nga Sa'di, nga Pejgamberi (s.a.v.s.) me të njëjtin.

201 - Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Salim bin Hayyan narrated to us, he said: 'Ikrimah bin Khalid narrated to us, from Yahya bin Sa'd, from Sa'd, from the Prophet (pbuh) with the same.

- Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, i cili ka thënë: Na ka treguar Shu'be, nga Sa'd bin Ibrahimi, i cili ka thënë: Kam dëgjuar Ibrahim bin Sa'd bin Ebi Vakkasin, duke treguar nga Sa'di (r.a.), se Pejgamberi (s.a.v.s.) i tha Aliut: «A nuk je i kënaqur që të jesh ndaj meje në pozitën e Harunit ndaj Musait?»
٢٠٢ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنَ سَعْدِ بْنِ أَبِي وَقَّاصٍ ، يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ سَعْدٍ ﵁، «أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ لِعَلِيٍّ: أَلَا تَرْضَى بِأَنْ تَكُونَ مِنِّي بِمَنْزِلَةِ هَارُونَ مِنْ مُوسَى».
202 - Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Shu'bah narrated to us from Sa'd bin Ibrahim, he said: I heard Ibrahim bin Sa'd bin Abi Waqqas narrating from Sa'd (may Allah be pleased with him), that the Prophet (pbuh) said to 'Ali: "Are you not pleased that you are to me as Aaron was to Moses?"

203 - Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, i cili ka thënë: Na ka treguar Ibrahim bin Sa'di, nga babai i tij, nga gjyshi i tij, nga Sa'di, i cili ka thënë: «Ditën e Uhudit kam parë në të djathtë të të Dërguarit të Allahut (s.a.v.s.) dhe në të majtë të tij dy burra, të cilët kishin veshur rroba të bardha dhe luftonin për të Dërguarin e Allahut (s.a.v.s.) me luftimin më të ashpër. Nuk i kam parë ata as para asaj dite e as pas saj».
٢٠٣ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ ، عَنْ سَعْدٍ ، قَالَ: «رَأَيْتُ يَوْمَ أُحُدٍ عَنْ يَمِينِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ وَعَنْ يَسَارِهِ رَجُلَيْنِ، عَلَيْهِمَا ثِيَابٌ بَيَاضٌ، يُقَاتِلَانِ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ أَشَدَّ الْقِتَالِ، مَا رَأَيْتُهُمْ قَبْلَ ذَلِكَ الْيَوْمِ وَلَا بَعْدَهُ».

- Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Ibrahim ibn Sa'd narrated to us, from his father, from his grandfather, from Sa'd, he said: "On the day of Uhud, I saw two men on the right of the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) and on his left, wearing white garments, fighting on behalf of the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) with the fiercest fighting. I had never seen them before that day, nor after it."

204 - Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, ka thënë: Na ka treguar Shu'be, nga Ebu Jafuri, i cili e ka dëgjuar Mus'ab bin Sa'din duke thënë: «Fala namaz pranë Sa'dit dhe kur rashë në ruku, i bashkova duart dhe i vendosa ato mes gjunjëve të mi. Atëherë babai im më tha: 'Ne e bënim këtë derisa u ndaluam prej saj dhe u urdhëruam t'i vendosim duart tona mbi gjunjë'».
٢٠٤ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ أَبِي يَعْفُورٍ ، سَمِعَ مُصْعَبَ بْنَ سَعْدٍ ، يَقُولُ: «صَلَّيْتُ إِلَى جَنْبِ سَعْدٍ ، فَلَمَّا رَكَعْتُ طَبَّقْتُ يَدَيَّ وَجَعَلْتُهُمَا بَيْنَ رُكْبَتَيَّ، فَقَالَ لِي أَبِي: قَدْ كُنَّا نَفْعَلُ ذَلِكَ حَتَّى نُهِينَا عَنْهُ، وَأُمِرْنَا أَنْ نَضَعَ أَيْدِيَنَا عَلَى الرُّكَبِ».
204 - Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Shu'bah narrated to us, from Abu Ya'fur, who heard Mus'ab bin Sa'd saying:

"I prayed beside Sa'd, and when I bowed, I clasped my hands together and placed them between my knees. My father said to me: 'We used to do that until we were forbidden from it, and we were commanded to place our hands on the knees.'"

205 - Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, i cili ka thënë: Na ka treguar Shube, i cili ka thënë: Më ka njoftuar Simak bin Harbi, i cili ka thënë: Kam dëgjuar Mus'ab bin Sa'din, i cili ka thënë: «Për babanë tim kanë zbritur katër ajete. Ai tha: Babai im tha: Gjeta një shpatë në ditën e Bedrit dhe e solla te Pejgamberi (s.a.v.s.) e i thashë: O i Dërguari i Allahut, ma jep mua këtë si plaçkë lufte. Ai tha: Vëre aty ku e more. Pastaj iu riktheva dhe i thashë: A do të lihem si dikush që nuk ka vlerë? Atëherë i Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.) tha: Vëre aty ku e more. Dhe zbriti ky ajet: ﴿يَسْأَلُونَكَ عَنِ الأَنْفَالِ﴾ (Të pyesin ty për plaçkën e luftës), ndërsa në kiraetin e Abdullahut është kështu: (يَسْأَلُونَكَ (51) الْأَنْفَالَ) (Të pyesin ty plaçkën e luftës) deri në fund të ajetit.

Tha: Dhe nëna e Sa'dit tha: A nuk ka urdhëruar Allahu për dëgjueshmëri ndaj prindërve? Unë nuk do të haj ushqim e as nuk do të pij pije derisa ti ta mohosh Allahun. Ajo u përmbajt nga ushqimi dhe pija derisa filluan t'ia hapnin gojën me shkop. Atëherë zbriti ajeti: ﴿وَوَصَّيْنَا الإِنْسَانَ بِوالِدَيْهِ حُسْنًا وَإِنْ جَاهَدَاكَ لِتُشْرِكَ بِي مَا لَيْسَ لَكَ بِهِ عِلْمٌ فَلا تُطِعْهُمَا﴾ (Ne e kemi urdhëruar njeriun që të sillet mirë me prindërit e vet, por nëse ata përpiqen të të detyrojnë të më shoqërosh Mua diçka për të cilën ti nuk ke dijeni, atëherë mos i dëgjo ata).

Një burrë nga Ensarët përgatiti ushqim dhe ftoi disa njerëz nga Muhaxhirët dhe disa njerëz nga Ensarët. Hëngrëm dhe pimë derisa u dehem, pastaj filluam të mburremi. Një burrë mori kockën e nofullës së një deveje dhe goditi me të hundën e Sa'dit, kështu që Sa'di mbeti me hundë të çarë. Kjo ndodhi para se të ndalohej alkooli. Atëherë zbriti ajeti: ﴿يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لا تَقْرَبُوا الصَّلاةَ وَأَنْتُمْ سُكَارَى﴾ (O ju që keni besuar, mos iu afroni namazit duke qenë të dehur) dhe zbriti ajeti: ﴿إِنَّمَا الْخَمْرُ وَالْمَيْسِرُ وَالأَنْصَابُ وَالأَزْلامُ رِجْسٌ مِنْ عَمَلِ الشَّيْطَانِ﴾ (Vërtet, alkooli, bixhozi, idhujt dhe shigjetat e fatit janë ndyrësi nga vepra e shejtanit) deri në fund të ajetit.

I Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.) hyri te Sa'di kur ai ishte i sëmurë. Ai dëshironte të linte testament gjithë pasurinë e tij, por Pejgamberi filloi t'ia pakësonte derisa arriti në një të tretën. Tha: Njerëzit lënë testament një të tretën.

٢٠٥ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي سِمَاكُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ مُصْعَبَ بْنَ سَعْدٍ ، قَالَ: «نَزَلَتْ فِي أَبِي أَرْبَعُ آيَاتٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ أَبِي: أَصَبْتُ سَيْفًا يَوْمَ بَدْرٍ، فَأَتَيْتُ بِهِ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ، فَقُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، نَفِّلْنِيهِ، قَالَ: ضَعْهُ مِنْ حَيْثُ أَخَذْتَهُ، ثُمَّ عَاوَدْتُهُ، فَقُلْتُ: أَأُتْرَكُ كَمَنْ لَا غَنَاءَ لَهُ؟ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: ضَعْهُ مِنْ حَيْثُ أَخَذْتَهُ وَنَزَلَتْ هَذِهِ الْآيَةُ: ﴿يَسْأَلُونَكَ عَنِ الأَنْفَالِ﴾ وَهِيَ فِي قِرَاءَةِ عَبْدِ اللهِ هَكَذَا: (يَسْأَلُونَكَ (51)» الْأَنْفَالَ) الْآيَةَ كُلَّهَا، قَالَ: وَقَالَتْ أُمُّ سَعْدٍ: أَلَيْسَ قَدْ أَمَرَ اللهُ بِطَاعَةِ الْوَالِدَيْنِ؟ فَلَا آكُلُ طَعَامًا، وَلَا أَشْرَبُ شَرَابًا حَتَّى تَكْفُرَ بِاللهِ، فَامْتَنَعَتْ مِنَ الطَّعَامِ وَالشَّرَابِ حَتَّى جَعَلُوا يَشْجُرُونَ فَاهَا بِالْعَصَا، وَنَزَلَتْ ﴿وَوَصَّيْنَا الإِنْسَانَ بِوَالِدَيْهِ حُسْنًا وَإِنْ جَاهَدَاكَ لِتُشْرِكَ بِي مَا لَيْسَ لَكَ بِهِ عِلْمٌ فَلا تُطِعْهُمَا﴾، وَصَنَعَ رَجُلٌ مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ طَعَامًا، فَدَعَا نَاسًا مِنَ الْمُهَاجِرِينَ، وَنَاسًا مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ، فَأَكَلْنَا وَشَرِبْنَا حَتَّى سَكِرْنَا، ثُمَّ افْتَخَرْنَا، فَرَفَعَ رَجُلٌ لَحْيَ بَعِيرٍ فَفَزَرَ بِهِ أَنْفَ سَعْدٍ، فَكَانَ سَعْدٌ مَفْزُورَ الْأَنْفِ، وَذَلِكَ قَبْلَ أَنْ تُحَرَّمَ الْخَمْرُ، فَنَزَلَتْ ﴿يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لا تَقْرَبُوا الصَّلاةَ وَأَنْتُمْ سُكَارَى﴾ وَنَزَلَتْ ﴿إِنَّمَا الْخَمْرُ وَالْمَيْسِرُ وَالأَنْصَابُ وَالأَزْلامُ رِجْسٌ مِنْ عَمَلِ الشَّيْطَانِ﴾ الْآيَةَ، وَدَخَلَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَلَى سَعْدٍ وَهُوَ مَرِيضٌ، وَأَرَادَ أَنْ يُوصِيَ بِمَالِهِ كُلِّهِ، فَجَعَلَ يُنَاقِصُهُ حَتَّى بَلَغَ الثُّلُثَ، قَالَ: فَالنَّاسُ يُوصُونَ بِالثُّلُثِ.

205 - Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Shu'bah narrated to us, he said: Simak ibn Harb informed me, he said: I heard Mus'ab ibn Sa'd, he said: "Four verses were revealed concerning my father. He said: My father said: I obtained a sword on the day of Badr, so I brought it to the Prophet (saw) and said: O Messenger of Allah, grant it to me as a gift. He said: 'Put it back from where you took it.' Then I returned to him and said: Shall I be left like one who has no use? So the Messenger of Allah (saw) said: 'Put it back from where you took it.' And this verse was revealed: {They ask you about the spoils of war (al-anfal)} [Al-Anfal: 1], and in the recitation of Abdullah it is like this: (They ask you (51) the spoils of war) the entire verse.

He said: And the mother of Sa'd said: Has not Allah commanded obedience to parents? I will not eat any food, nor will I drink any drink until you disbelieve in Allah. So she abstained from food and drink until they began to pry her mouth open with a stick. Then there was revealed: {And We have enjoined upon man goodness to his parents. But if they endeavor to make you associate with Me that of which you have no knowledge, do not obey them} [Al-Ankabut: 8].

And a man from the Ansar prepared food, and he invited some people from the Muhajirun and some people from the Ansar. We ate and drank until we became intoxicated, then we began to boast. A man lifted the jawbone of a camel and struck Sa'd's nose with it, so Sa'd's nose was injured. That was before wine was forbidden. Then there was revealed: {O you who have believed, do not approach prayer while you are intoxicated} [An-Nisa: 43], and there was revealed: {Intoxicants, gambling, [sacrificing on] stone alters, and divining arrows are but defilement from the work of Satan} [Al-Ma'idah: 90] the entire verse.

And the Messenger of Allah (saw) entered upon Sa'd while he was ill, and he wanted to bequeath all of his wealth. He kept reducing it until it reached a third. He said: So people bequeath a third.

- Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, i cili ka thënë: Na ka treguar Shu'be, nga el-Hakemi, nga Mus'ab bin Sa'di, nga Sa'di, i cili ka thënë: «I Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.) e la Ali bin Ebi Talibin (r.a.) pas në betejën e Tebukut, e ai tha: 'O i Dërguari i Allahut, a po më lë pas me gratë dhe fëmijët?' Ai tha: 'A nuk je i kënaqur të jesh për mua ashtu siç ishte Haruni për Musain, me përjashtim të asaj se nuk ka pejgamber pas meje?'»
٢٠٦ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنِ الْحَكَمِ ، عَنْ مُصْعَبِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ ، عَنْ سَعْدٍ ، قَالَ: «خَلَّفَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَلِيَّ بْنَ أَبِي طَالِبٍ ﵁ فِي غَزْوَةِ تَبُوكَ، فَقَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، أَتُخَلِّفُنِي فِي النِّسَاءِ وَالصِّبْيَانِ؟ فَقَالَ: أَمَا تَرْضَى أَنْ تَكُونَ مِنِّي بِمَنْزِلَةِ هَارُونَ مِنْ مُوسَى، غَيْرَ أَنَّهُ لَا نَبِيَّ بَعْدِي».
206 - Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Shu'bah narrated to us, from al-Hakam, from Mus'ab bin Sa'd, from Sa'd, he said:

The Messenger of Allah (pbuh) left Ali bin Abi Talib behind during the Battle of Tabuk, so he said: 'O Messenger of Allah, are you leaving me behind with the women and children?' He (pbuh) replied: 'Are you not pleased that you are to me as Aaron was to Moses, except that there is no prophet after me?'

207 - Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, i cili ka thënë: Na ka treguar Muhamed b. Ebi Humejd el-Ensari, i cili ka thënë: Më ka treguar Ismail b. Muhamed b. Sa'd b. Ebi Vekas, nga babai i tij, nga Sa'di (r.a.), se i Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.) ka thënë: «Tri gjëra janë lumturi për birin e Ademit dhe tri gjëra janë mjerim për birin e Ademit. Prej lumturisë së birit të Ademit janë: bashkëshortja e mirë, mjeti i mirë i udhëtimit dhe banesa e gjerë - ose ka thënë: banesa e mirë -, ndërsa mjerim për birin e Ademit janë tri gjëra: banesa e keqe, gruaja e keqe dhe mjeti i keq i udhëtimit (52)».

٢٠٧ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي حُمَيْدٍ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَعْدِ بْنِ أَبِي وَقَّاصٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ سَعْدٍ ﵁، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ: «سَعَادَةٌ لِابْنِ آدَمَ ثَلَاثٌ، وَشِقْوَةٌ لِابْنِ آدَمَ ثَلَاثٌ، فَمِنْ سَعَادَةِ ابْنِ آدَمَ: الزَّوْجَةُ الصَّالِحَةُ، وَالْمَرْكَبُ الصَّالِحُ، وَالْمَسْكَنُ الْوَاسِعُ - أَوْ قَالَ: وَالْمَسْكَنُ الصَّالِحُ -، وَشِقْوَةٌ لِابْنِ آدَمَ ثَلَاثٌ: الْمَسْكَنُ السُّوءُ، وَالْمَرْأَةُ السُّوءُ، وَالْمَرْكَبُ السُّوءُ (52)».

207 - Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Muhammad ibn Abi Humayd al-Ansari narrated to us, he said: Isma'il ibn Muhammad ibn Sa'd ibn Abi Waqqas narrated to me, from his father, from Sa'd (ra), that the Messenger of Allah (saw) said: "Three things are part of the happiness of the son of Adam, and three things are part of the misery of the son of Adam. Among the happiness of the son of Adam are: a righteous wife, a good mount, and a spacious dwelling - or he said: a good dwelling. And three things are part of the misery of the son of Adam: a bad dwelling, a bad woman, and a bad mount (52)."

208 - Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, ka thënë: Na ka treguar Shu'be, nga Ebu Is'haku, ka thënë: E kam dëgjuar El-Ajzar b. Hurejthin duke treguar nga Omer b. Sa'di, nga babai i tij (r.a.), i cili ka thënë: E kam dëgjuar Pejgamberin (s.a.v.s.) duke thënë: «Çuditem me muslimanin; kur e godet ndonjë fatkeqësi, ai shpreson shpërblimin dhe bën durim, ndërsa kur e godet ndonjë e mirë, ai e falënderon Allahun dhe është mirënjohës. Me të vërtetë, muslimani shpërblehet për çdo gjë, madje edhe për kafshatën që e ngre në gojën e tij».
٢٠٨ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ الْعَيْزَارَ بْنَ حُرَيْثٍ ، يُحَدِّثُ، عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ سَعْدٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ﵁، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَقُولُ: «عَجِبْتُ لِلْمُسْلِمِ; إِذَا أَصَابَتْهُ مُصِيبَةٌ احْتَسَبَ وَصَبَرَ، وَإِذَا أَصَابَهُ خَيْرٌ حَمِدَ اللهَ وَشَكَرَ، إِنَّ الْمُسْلِمَ يُؤْجَرُ فِي كُلِّ شَيْءٍ، حَتَّى فِي اللُّقْمَةِ يَرْفَعُهَا إِلَى فِيهِ».
208 - Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Shu'bah narrated to us, from Abu Ishaq, he said: I heard al-'Aizar bin Huraith narrating, from 'Umar bin Sa'd, from his father (may Allah be pleased with him), who said: I heard the Prophet (saw) saying: "I am amazed at the Muslim; when a calamity strikes him, he seeks reward and is patient, and when good befalls him, he praises Allah and is grateful. Indeed, the Muslim is rewarded for everything, even for the morsel of food he raises to his mouth."

209 - Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, i cili ka thënë: Na ka treguar Shube, nga Ismail bin Ebi Halidi, nga Kajs bin Ebi Hazimi, i cili ka thënë: E kam dëgjuar Sa'din (r.a.) duke thënë: «Na kam parë veten me të Dërguarin e Allahut (s.a.v.s.) kur nuk kishim ushqim tjetër përveç gjetheve të pemëve, aq sa ndonjëri prej nesh jashtëqitjen e bënte siç e bën delja. Ndërsa tani, fisi Benu Esed po më jep mësime (më qorton) për Islamin; nëse është kështu, atëherë unë paskam dështuar dhe mundi im paska shkuar dëm.»
٢٠٩ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ أَبِي خَالِدٍ ، عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ أَبِي حَازِمٍ ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ سَعْدًا ﵁، يَقُولُ: «لَقَدْ رَأَيْتُنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ وَمَا لَنَا طَعَامٌ إِلَّا وَرَقُ الشَّجَرِ، حَتَّى يَضَعَ أَحَدُنَا كَمَا تَضَعُ الشَّاةُ، فَأَصْبَحَتْ بَنُو أَسَدٍ تُعَزِّرُنِي عَلَى الْإِسْلَامِ، لَقَدْ خَسِرْتُ إِذًا وَضَلَّ سَعْيِي».
209 - Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Shu'bah narrated to us, from Isma'il bin Abi Khalid, from Qays bin Abi Hazim, he said: I heard Sa'd (may Allah be pleased with him) saying: "I saw us with the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) and we had no food except the leaves of trees, until one of us would defecate as a sheep defecates. Now, Banu Asad are teaching me about Islam; I would then be a loser and my efforts would have gone astray."

٢١٠ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ زَيْدٍ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ ، عَنْ سَعْدٍ ﵁، قَالَ: «قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لِعَلِيٍّ ﵁: أَنْتَ مِنِّي بِمَنْزِلَةِ هَارُونَ مِنْ مُوسَى».
210 - Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Shu'bah narrated to us, from 'Ali ibn Zayd, from Sa'id ibn al-Musayyib, from Sa'd (may Allah be pleased with him), he said: 'The Messenger of Allah (pbuh) said to 'Ali (may Allah be pleased with him): "You are to me in the position of Aaron to Moses."'

211 - Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, i cili ka thënë: Na ka treguar Malik b. Enesi, nga Abdullah b. Jezidi, nga Zejd Ebu Ajjashi, i cili ka thënë:
«E pyeta Sa'din për blerjen e elbit të zhveshur (sult) me grurë (bejda), dhe ai e urrye këtë, dhe Sa'di tha: E kam pyetur Pejgamberin (s.a.v.s.) për blerjen e hurmave të freskëta (rutab) me hurma të thata (temr), e ai tha: 'A pakësohen hurmat e freskëta kur thahen?' Ata thanë: 'Po', atëherë ai tha: 'Jo' ose e ndaloi këtë».
٢١١ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكُ بْنُ أَنَسٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ ، عَنْ زَيْدٍ أَبِي عَيَّاشٍ ، قَالَ: «سَأَلْتُ سَعْدًا عَنِ اشْتِرَاءِ السُّلْتِ بِالْبَيْضَاءِ، فَكَرِهَهُ، وَقَالَ سَعْدٌ : سَأَلْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ عَنِ الرُّطَبِ بِالتَّمْرِ، فَقَالَ: هَلْ يَنْقُصُ الرُّطَبُ إِذَا يَبِسَ؟ فَقَالُوا: نَعَمْ، فَقَالَ: لَا أَوْ نَهَى عَنْهُ».
211 - Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Malik ibn Anas narrated to us, from Abdullah ibn Yazid, from Zayd Abi Ayyash, who said:

'I asked Sa'd about buying husked barley (al-sult) with white wheat (al-bayda'), and he disliked it, and Sa'd said: I asked the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) about fresh dates for dry dates, so he said: "Do fresh dates decrease when they dry?" They said: "Yes," so he said: "No" or he forbade it.'

212 - Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, i cili ka thënë: Na ka treguar Shube, Hishami dhe Hammad bin Seleme - të gjithë - nga Asim bin Behdele, nga Mus'ab bin Sa'di, nga babai i tij (r.a.), i cili ka thënë: «I thashë: O i Dërguari i Allahut, cilët njerëz janë më të sprovuarit? Ai tha: Pejgamberët, pastaj ata që vijnë pas tyre (për nga virtyti), pastaj ata që vijnë pas tyre. Njeriu sprovohet sipas shkallës së fesë së tij; nëse ai është i palëkundur në fenë e tij, sprova e tij shtohet, e nëse në fenë e tij ka lëshim, ai sprovohet sipas asaj - ose sipas shkallës së saj. Sprova nuk ndahet nga robi derisa ai të ecë mbi tokë pa pasur asnjë mëkat.»
٢١٢ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، وَهِشَامٌ ، وَحَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ - كُلُّهُمْ -، عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ بَهْدَلَةَ ، عَنْ مُصْعَبِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ﵁، قَالَ: «قُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، أَيُّ النَّاسِ أَشَدُّ بَلَاءً؟ قَالَ: الْأَنْبِيَاءُ، ثُمَّ الْأَمْثَلُ فَالْأَمْثَلُ، حَتَّى يُبْتَلَى الرَّجُلُ عَلَى قَدْرِ دِينِهِ، فَإِنْ كَانَ صُلْبَ الدِّينِ اشْتَدَّ بَلَاؤُهُ، وَإِنْ كَانَ فِي دِينِهِ رِقَّةٌ ابْتُلِيَ عَلَى حَسَبِ ذَلِكَ - أَوْ قَدْرِ ذَلِكَ - فَمَا يَبْرَحُ الْبَلَاءُ بِالْعَبْدِ حَتَّى يَمْشِيَ عَلَى الْأَرْضِ وَمَا عَلَيْهِ مِنْ خَطِيئَةٍ».
212 - Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Shu'bah, Hisham, and Hammad ibn Salamah narrated to us - all of them - from 'Asim ibn Bahdalah, from Mus'ab ibn Sa'd, from his father (may Allah be pleased with him), who said: "I said: O Messenger of Allah (pbuh), which of the people are most severely tested?" He said: "The Prophets, then the next best, then the next best. A man is tested according to his religion; if he is firm in his religion, his testing is increased, and if there is weakness in his religion, he is tested according to that - or the extent of that - and testing does not cease to afflict the servant until he walks upon the earth with no sin upon him."

213 - Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, ka thënë: Na ka treguar Shube, nga Ebu Avn eth-Thekafi 2, ka thënë: E kam dëgjuar Xhabir bin Semuren duke thënë: «Omeri i tha Sadit (r.a.): "Të janë ankuar për ty për çdo gjë, madje edhe për namazin." Ai tha: "Sa i përket mua, unë i zgjasja dy të parat dhe i shkurtoja dy të fundit, dhe nuk kam lënë mangët asgjë në atë që kam ndjekur prej namazit të Pejgamberit të Allahut (s.a.v.s.)." Ai tha: "Ky ishte mendimi për ty, ose mendimi im për ty."»
٢١٣ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ أَبِي عَوْنٍ الثَّقَفِيِّ ٢، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ جَابِرَ بْنَ سَمُرَةَ ، يَقُولُ: «قَالَ عُمَرُ لِسَعْدٍ ﵁: قَدْ شَكَوْكَ فِي كُلِّ شَيْءٍ حَتَّى فِي الصَّلَاةِ، فَقَالَ: أَمَّا أَنَا فَكُنْتُ أَمُدُّ فِي الْأُولَيَيْنِ، وَأَحْذِفُ فِي الْأُخْرَيَيْنِ، وَمَا آلُو مَا اقْتَدَيْتُ بِهِ مِنْ صَلَاةِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ: ذَاكَ الظَّنُّ بِكَ، أَوْ ظَنِّي بِكَ».
213 - Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Shu'bah narrated to us, from Abu 'Awn al-Thaqafi (2), he said: I heard Jabir ibn Samurah saying:

'Umar said to Sa'd (ra): "They have complained about you in everything, even regarding the prayer." He said: "As for me, I used to lengthen the first two (rak'ahs) and shorten the last two, and I do not fall short in following the prayer of the Messenger of Allah (saw)." He (Umar) said: "That is what was expected of you, or my expectation of you."

214 - Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, i cili ka thënë: Na ka treguar Ebu Avane, nga Abdylmelik bin Umejri, nga Xhabir bin Semure, i cili ka thënë:
«Banorët e Kufës u ankuan për Sa'din te Omeri, kështu që ai e shkarkoi atë dhe emëroi Amarin mbi ta. Ata thanë: "Sa'di nuk di të falet mirë." Omeri ia përmendi këtë atij, e Sa'di tha: "Sa i përket meje, unë u falja atyre namazin e Pejgamberit (s.a.v.s.) dhe nuk i mungoja asgjë; në dy namazet e mbrëmjes (dreka dhe ikindia), qëndroja më gjatë në dy rekatet e para dhe i shkurtoja dy të fundit." Omeri tha: "Ky ka qenë mendimi im për ty, o Ebu Is'hak."
٢١٤ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ ، قَالَ: «شَكَا أَهْلُ الْكُوفَةِ سَعْدًا إِلَى عُمَرَ، فَنَزَعَهُ، وَاسْتَعْمَلَ عَلَيْهِمْ عَمَّارًا، فَقَالُوا: إِنَّ سَعْدًا لَا يُحْسِنُ أَنْ يُصَلِّيَ، فَذَكَرَ ذَلِكَ عُمَرُ لَهُ، فَقَالَ سَعْدٌ: أَمَّا أَنَا فَكُنْتُ أُصَلِّي بِهِمْ صَلَاةَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ، وَلَا أَخْرِمُ عَنْهَا، صَلَاتَيِ الْعَشِيِّ; أَرْكُدُ فِي الْأُولَيَيْنِ، وَأَحْذِفُ فِي الْأُخْرَيَيْنِ فَقَالَ عُمَرُ: ذَاكَ الظَّنُّ بِكَ يَا أَبَا إِسْحَاقَ».
214 - Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Abu 'Awanah narrated to us, from 'Abd al-Malik ibn 'Umayr, from Jabir ibn Samurah, who said:

The people of Kufa complained about Sa'd to 'Umar, so he removed him and appointed 'Ammar over them. They said: "Indeed, Sa'd does not know how to pray properly." 'Umar mentioned that to him, and Sa'd said: "As for me, I used to lead them in the prayer of the Messenger of Allah (saw), and I did not deviate from it; specifically the two evening prayers (Zuhr and 'Asr). I would stand longer in the first two rak'ahs and shorten the last two." 'Umar said: "That is what was expected of you, O Abu Ishaq."

215 - Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, i cili ka thënë: Na ka treguar Ibn Ebi Dhibi, nga Salihu, maula i Teu'ames, i cili ka thënë: Më ka treguar dikush prej fëmijëve të Sa'dit, nga Sa'di, se Pejgamberi (s.a.v.s.) ka thënë: «Këdo që e zini duke prerë diçka nga pemët - domethënë pemët e Haremit - juve ju takon plaçka (pajisjet) e tij; pemët e tij nuk shkurtohen dhe as nuk priten».

(Transmetuesi) tha: Sa'di pa disa djem duke prerë (pemë), kështu që ua mori pajisjet e tyre. Ata shkuan te zotërinjtë e tyre dhe i njoftuan se Sa'di kishte bërë kështu e kështu. Ata erdhën tek ai dhe i thanë: O Ebu Is'hak, djemtë e tu - ose shërbëtorët e tu - ua kanë marrë pajisjet djemve tanë. Ai tha: Përkundrazi, unë i kam marrë ato, sepse e kam dëgjuar Pejgamberin (s.a.v.s.) duke thënë: «Këdo që e zini duke prerë nga pemët e Haremit, juve ju takon plaçka e tij», por më kërkoni nga pasuria ime çfarë të dëshironi.
٢١٥ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ ، عَنْ صَالِحٍ مَوْلَى التَّوْأَمَةِ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي بَعْضُ وَلَدِ سَعْدٍ ، عَنْ سَعْدٍ ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ: «مَنْ أَخَذْتُمُوهُ يَقْطَعُ مِنَ الشَّجَرِ شَيْئًا - يَعْنِي شَجَرَ الْحَرَمِ - فَلَكُمْ سَلَبُهُ، لَا يُعْضَدُ شَجَرُهَا، وَلَا يُقْطَعُ قَالَ: فَرَأَى سَعْدٌ غِلْمَانًا يَقْطَعُونَ، فَأَخَذَ مَتَاعَهُمْ، فَانْتَهَوْا إِلَى مَوَالِيهِمْ، فَأَخْبَرُوهُمْ أَنَّ سَعْدًا فَعَلَ كَذَا وَكَذَا، فَأَتَوْهُ، فَقَالُوا: يَا أَبَا إِسْحَاقَ، إِنَّ غِلْمَانَكَ - أَوْ مَوَالِيَكَ - أَخَذُوا مَتَاعَ غِلْمَانِنَا، فَقَالَ: بَلْ أَنَا أَخَذْتُهُ، سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ: مَنْ أَخَذْتُمُوهُ يَقْطَعُ مِنْ شَجَرِ الْحَرَمِ فَلَكُمْ سَلَبُهُ وَلَكِنْ سَلُونِي مِنْ مَالِي مَا شِئْتُمْ».
215 - Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Ibn Abi Dhi'b narrated to us, from Salih the freed slave of al-Taw'amah, he said: Some of the children of Sa'd narrated to me, from Sa'd, that the Messenger of Allah (saw) said: "Whoever you catch cutting anything from the trees - meaning the trees of the Sanctuary (Haram) - then his belongings are for you. Its trees are not to be lopped, nor are they to be cut."

He said: Then Sa'd saw some boys cutting [trees], so he took their belongings. They went to their masters and informed them that Sa'd had done such and such. So they came to him and said: "O Abu Ishaq, your boys - or your freed slaves - took the belongings of our boys." He said: "Rather, I took them. I heard the Messenger of Allah (saw) saying: 'Whoever you catch cutting from the trees of the Sanctuary, then his belongings are for you.' But ask me from my own wealth whatever you wish."

216 - Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, i cili ka thënë: Na ka treguar Ibrahim bin Sa'di, nga ez-Zuhriu, nga Sa'id bin el-Musejjibi, nga Sa'd bin Maliku (r.a.), i cili ka thënë: «Pejgamberi (s.a.v.s.) ia refuzoi Uthman bin Madh'unit beqarinë (përkushtimin e plotë ndaj adhurimit duke lënë martesën), dhe sikur ta lejonte atë, ne do të tredheshim».
٢١٦ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ ، عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ﵁، قَالَ: «رَدَّ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ عَلَى عُثْمَانَ بْنِ مَظْعُونٍ التَّبَتُّلَ، وَلَوْ أَذِنَ لَهُ فِيهِ لَاخْتَصَيْنَا».
216 - Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Ibrahim bin Sa'd narrated to us, from al-Zuhri, from Sa'id bin al-Musayyib, from Sa'd bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him), he said: "The Prophet (pbuh) rejected celibacy for 'Uthman bin Maz'un, and if he had permitted it for him, we would have castrated ourselves."

217 - Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, ka thënë: Na ka treguar Shube, nga Jahja bin Seidi, ka thënë: Kam dëgjuar Seid bin el-Musejibin, ka thënë: Kam dëgjuar Sadin (r.a.) duke thënë: «I dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.) i bashkoi për mua të dy prindërit e tij në ditën e Uhudit.»
٢١٧ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ سَعِيدَ بْنَ الْمُسَيِّبِ ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ سَعْدًا ﵁، يَقُولُ: «جَمَعَ لِي رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أَبَوَيْهِ يَوْمَ أُحُدٍ».
217 - Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Shu'bah narrated to us, from Yahya bin Sa'id, he said: I heard Sa'id bin al-Musayyib, he said: I heard Sa'd (may Allah be pleased with him) saying: 'The Messenger of Allah (pbuh) gathered both his parents for me on the day of Uhud.'

- Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, ka thënë: Na ka treguar Isa bin Abdurrahman, ka thënë: Na ka treguar Ibrahim bin Muhammed bin Sa'd, nga babai i tij, nga Sa'di, i cili ka thënë: «Nuk ka vdekje me të cilën do të vdisja që të jetë më e dashur për mua sesa të vritem në mbrojtje të pasurisë sime si i padrejtësuar».
٢١٨ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عِيسَى بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ سَعْدٍ ، قَالَ: «مَا مِنْ مَوْتَةٍ أَمُوتُهَا أَحَبُّ إِلَيَّ مِنْ أَنْ أُقْتَلَ دُونَ مَالِي مَظْلُومًا».
218 - Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: 'Isa ibn 'Abd al-Rahman narrated to us, he said: Ibrahim ibn Muhammad ibn Sa'd narrated to us, from his father, from Sa'd, who said: "There is no death I would die that is more beloved to me than being killed in defense of my property while being wronged."

219 - Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, i cili ka thënë: Na ka treguar Shube, nga Simaku, i cili ka thënë: Më ka treguar një burrë, nga xhaxhai i tij (53) Sa'di (r.a.), se Beni Naxhijet u përmendën te Pejgamberi (s.a.v.s.), e ai tha: "Ata janë një fis prej meje." Tha: Dhe mendoj se ai tha: "Dhe unë jam prej tyre."
Ose Pejgamberi (s.a.v.s.) ka thënë:
"O sy, qaj për Sameh bin Luejin", e një burrë tha:
"U lidh ajo që u lidh me Samehin"
ose burri e ka thënë këtë, dhe Pejgamberi (s.a.v.s.) iu përgjigj atij.

(53) Në botimin e Dar el-Ma'rifeh ka një shtesë (nga).
٢١٩ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ سِمَاكٍ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي رَجُلٌ ، عَنْ عَمِّهِ (53) سَعْدٍ ﵁، «أَنَّ بَنِي نَاجِيَةَ ذُكِرُوا عِنْدَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ: هُمْ حَيٌّ مِنِّي قَالَ: وَأَحْسَبُهُ قَالَ: وَأَنَا مِنْهُمْ فَإِمَّا أَنْ يَكُونَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ:
عَيْنُ فَابْكِي سَامَةَ بْنَ لُؤَيٍّ فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ:
عَلِقَتْ مَا بِسَامَةَ الْعَلَّاقَهْ
وَإِمَّا أَنْ يَكُونَ الرَّجُلُ قَالَ ذَلِكَ، فَأَجَابَهُ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ».

219 - Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Shu'bah narrated to us, from Simak, who said: A man narrated to me, from his uncle (53) Sa'd (ra), "that the Banu Najiyah were mentioned in the presence of the Messenger of Allah (saw), and he said: 'They are a tribe from me.' He said: 'And I think he said: And I am from them.'
Either the Messenger of Allah (saw) said:
'O eye, weep for Samah bin Lu'ay,' and a man said:
'The attachment has clung to what is with Samah,'
or the man said that, and the Messenger of Allah (saw) answered him."
