2562 - Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Wuhaib ibn Khalid narrated to us, and he was trustworthy, he said: Suhayl ibn Abi Salih al-Madani narrated to us, from his father, from Abu Hurayrah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (saw) said: "There is no owner of treasure who does not pay the Zakat of his treasure except that he and his treasure will be brought on the Day of Resurrection, and it will be heated into plates in the fire of Hell, and his forehead, his sides, and his back will be branded with them until Allah (AZJ) judges between His servants on a day the duration of which is fifty thousand years of what you count. Then he will see his path, either to Paradise or to the Fire. And there is no owner of camels who does not pay the Zakat of his camels except that he and his camels will be brought on the Day of Resurrection in the most plentiful state they ever were, and he will be thrown on his face for them in a flat level plain, and they will trample him with their hooves. Every time the last of them passes, the first of them will be returned to him, until Allah (AZJ) judges between His servants on a day the duration of which is fifty thousand years of what you count, and his path is seen, either to Paradise or to the Fire. And there is no owner of sheep who does not pay the Zakat of his sheep except that he and his sheep will be brought on the Day of Resurrection in the most plentiful state they ever were, and he will be thrown on his face for them in a flat level plain, and they will gore him with their horns and trample him with their hooves. Every time the last of them passes, the first of them will be returned to him, until Allah (AZJ) judges between His servants on a day the duration of which is fifty thousand years of what you count. Then he will see his path, either to Paradise or to the Fire."
It was said: "O Messenger of Allah, what about horses?" He said: "Goodness is tied to the forelocks of horses until the Day of Resurrection. Horses are of three types: they are a reward for one man, a protection for another, and a burden upon another. As for the one for whom they are a reward, he is a man who keeps them and tethers them in the cause of Allah (AZJ); whatever they take into their bellies, he has a reward for it. Even if he grazes them in a meadow and lets them roam, he will have a reward for everything they take into their bellies. And if they run up a hill or two, he will have a reward for every step they take or he makes them take. And if he passes them by a river and they drink from it, he will have a reward for every drop they take into their bellies," until he mentioned the reward even for their droppings and urine. "As for the one for whom they are a protection, he is a man who keeps them for self-sufficiency, dignity, and beauty, and does not forget their right regarding their backs and their bellies, in their hardship and their ease. As for the one upon whom they are a burden, he is a man who keeps them out of arrogance, pride, and to show off to people."
It was said: "O Messenger of Allah, what do you say about donkeys?" He said: "Nothing has been revealed to me concerning them except this comprehensive verse: {So whoever does an atom's weight of good will see it, and whoever does an atom's weight of evil will see it}."
